• New creation of Application FDM

  Hi all

  I use the Hyperion 11.1.2.3 version. I am creating the new application in the environment of Dev FDM.  I have a copied from QA environment Oracle schema and schema data.  How can use this schema to create the FDM in Dev app?

  When I wanted to create with this schema, I get the error message "schema is not empty. Please could you help me to create applications FDM with schema that contains data.

  Try this,

  (1) DBA to make a copy of the existing database and place it on the new server.
  (2) copy the folder FDMDATA (deposit of FDM) from the old server to the new server
  3) open the customer based on the new server and choose 'Add Application' and the connection
  (4) enter the name of the Application, Description and the Application in the copied FDMDATA repository path: i.e. \\servername\fdmdata\appname
  5) click the database tab:
  (a) choose the appropriate database (SQL or Oracle) provider
  (b) enter the new name of the database
  (c) enter the name of user and password from database.
  5) click OK

  Sorry for the delay in responding. Right now, we use WooBox to launch a contest for 80 business units. Launch page that we use the HTML code of the WooBox to have one "like Gate.  That means, users must like our page before voting on the contest. WooBox will also give you the ability to export the users once your contest is over. You can download the file in Eloqua and synchronize contacts by e-mail. I hope this helps.

  No you do not. Schema update is one way street 1. If you overlay it on the v8.3.1 you could never parallel or UAT, trials, etc.

• Microsoft Word and Excel (2010) do not appear when you attempt to associate file types with applications.

  Word and Excel are installed and are working on the new computer from my parents.  They have the word 'old' and the files whose file extensions are not associated with Word or Excel is excellent.  If they open Word (or Excel), they can then open these old files successfully.  On the other hand, if they double-click on the file, the popup shows the type of file is not associated with an application.  When asked to choose an application to associate, the list does not include Word or Excel.

  The same is true when you use the programs Start/Default/associate a file type or Protocol with a program.  Word and Excel are not shown as applications installed on this computer.

  I did an uninstall and reinstall, and the old word files and excellent files are still not associated.  I was then able to associate using the types of programs/associate of start/default etc..  So I think I'm good to go.  This occurs naturally, and it was a big pain.  Not what you want to experience, unfortunately, visitors.

  You would automate this process via the Batch Loader integrated with FDM. The process to use this is exactly the same as you have one or more target applications. The ultimate target application is based on the name of the place incorporated into the batch processing file naming convention. Each of your adapters different target will be associated with one or more locations in your configuration of metadata location FDM.

  We are experiencing a few problems to configure the following condition:

  Users A, B, and C will not be able to connect via SQLPLUS.

  However, it doesn't evaluate the rule in the rule set correctly. The rule set is as follows:

  DVF. F$ MODULE! = ' SQL * MORE AND DVF. F$ SESSION_USER NOT IN ("USERA", "USERB", "USERC")

  This rule allows all users to connect except those defined in the rule. And it applies also to the developer SQL (and all other connections). If I change to be 'IN' he also allows users in the list, but no one else. In addition, somewhere I think it evaluates it as "OR" rather than "AND". What I want to do is:
