Type of file for playback DVD TV

I have created a slideshow in Lightroom. I want to play on a regular DVD TV player. How to export? I need to import into Premiere Pro, and if so, what I have to export as?

Uses DVD-MPEG-2 DVD. See the presets in Adobe Media Encoder.

  • What is the best type of file for dissemination of a dvd to DLNA compatible TV?

Hello all. I have an old pc running xp pro sp3, Media Player 11 and Nero Media Home Esentials 4 as my DLNA server. I just bought a LG TV which is DLNA certified. How can I get my collection of films to broadcast on television? Hard, the TV is connected to my home network and my Netflix subscription works very well and my music stream beautifly. My movie collection is stored as iso files, but the LG TV nor the nero software recognize the iso as a file to read. What would be the fastest way to convert these files and what is the best file format to maintain the quality of the original dvd format? So far, I absolutely love the DLNA but I saw some mpeg and avi video and the quality is very poor. I have one of my iso dvd of for a rip avi file, but the quality is once again, poor.

Thanks for any help in getting myself educated with my new toy!

If you ask me, I prefer MKV and H.264 - they are easily superior to DivX and MPEG2, IMO.

But even once, as Barb says, try your luck on the LG forums as well.

  • How to split an audio file for playback gapless?

I have remastered just a music file (and it sounds beautiful incidentally!) using Audition CS6 on my iMac with OS X Lion mountains (my two BONES and hearing are fully updated). The file is 192 kHz 64-bit IEEE Floating Point (32-bit float) WAV. I know exactly where I want to cut the file, unfortunately every time I try to cut the file, the point to which the file is cut results in brief distortion for a tenth of a second, or so on each file resulting. What should I do to make homogeneous SOUND Cup at the very least?

P.S. There is no version of the original source (i.e. smoothly the way it should be) since the alleged files FLAC are no longer available: that's why I got the best I could find and remastered them.

Also, I'm curious to know if anyone knows: if I wanted the resulting playback MP3 files, should I make the cut, then export each piece like MP3 or cutting, export to WAV, then convert those into MP3?

In addition, how these limits would allow me to export 2 separate files that play in a transparent manner?

This only works for the CD, and the reason is that all CDs are encoded in whole frames on the disc. If you cut your audio files and the Cup is not on a frame boundary, the rest of this frame will be filled with silence. Your next track may have a similar problem - if the audio time reference does not fall on a departure from the border, there will be a gap there, too, I suspect that (although I've never run into this personally). In any case, this gap, even on the slopes following directly on the CD with no break inter track, is what makes your non-transparent join.

Then, with two folders the completely separate, you must ensure that the total length of the track of each of them contains a whole number of images. And even with a single file being marked with CD tracks on the correct boundaries, the total length has yet to be an integer, or it gets filled with a digital silence at the end.

You get 75 frames per second, with regard to the absolute chronology of the events, so this is almost never a problem. The potential clicks, however, are...

  • CS4: Disorder export file for Corel DVD Moviefactory

I just finished a project in Adobe Premiere CS4... I had been exporting in format Microsoft AVI NTSC widescreen (the project is in 16:9) and had burned the DVD with Windows DVD maker, which came out pretty good, but now I need to create a DVD with set chapter marks (which you can't do with DVD creation).  I ran into several problems trying to export in Moviefactory...

    (1) Microsoft's AVI files are not formatted to fullscreen.  There are bars on the sides even if it is a file of 16:9 and the project is 16:9.  I suspect it's a question that I have to go to a forum of Corel for, but I thought I would ask here too...

    (2) if export to MPEG-2 DVD format, it puts the video correctly, but the file itself contains no audio data, no matter what audio I export... There is no audio on the file itself so the problem is there before I bring it to Corel.

First far THAT MPEG-2 was the only file can export Moviefactory that formats the video properly, but I can't seem to export with the sound... not sure that it is.

To make a single MULTIPLEX file, you must select that in the output... options option you use is designed to create the file (s) to recall, what works better with separate video & MPEG Audio files

I'm looking to amplify a K type thermocouple, so that the signal can be read with a bit of precision by a USB-6008. I watched the AD595 chip, but it indicates a maximum useful temperature of 100 ° C and I'll need to read up to 700 C.

Is there another amplifier chip that would work up to this temperature, or should I resign me to use the unamplified signal and get a very inaccurate (~ 30/division) the temperature reading?

  • not sure, instruments, file types and export for lightroom

    Hello:

I am a new user of LR and new to the process of dam. I'm confused about something that is without doubt essential and fundamental in this process. My computer configuration is two internal drives (car and a working archive photo), as well as the external backup and burn to dvd. Using LR for image adjustment and catalog management (do not use Photoshop).  I will be the conversion to DNG on ingestion for raw. I add metadata loose on ingestion and then align the images in LR to rate images and making adjustments to the base image. These images are then archived that original.

Now, if I do work extra on these archived images (addl. setting of the image or metadata) these images would consider instruments?  If so, I would then go to export in LR to add (for example, masterfile, master.dng or .tif) file name before you send, for example, a derviative work file before sending it to the archive?

Also, if I send you these archival footage, but do not send email or web, do I need to change the DNG to another type of file (for example, tif)?

Finally, I have a few old jpegs on cards with media that I want to put in this process. Is there something special I need to do in the treatment of these images against dealing with the raw?

I read the dam book as well as reading through various resources online, but this process is quite confusing for a beginner.

    Please answer at any time.

    Thank you

    Joe.

Lightroom is a non-destructive Editor. This may be different from what you have used in the past.

With publishers not destructive, there is no concept of original and derivative (except if you choose to use a 2nd program like Photoshop, it seems that you do not intend to do). With an editor not destructive, you make your changes in the Editor (Development Module), and these instructions are stored in Lightroom as a 'recipe' and not as a separate file on your hard drive. These instructions on your changes are applied whenever you use Lightroom to display your image (or whenever you choose to print from Lightroom do a LR slidesehow or make a web page of LR). The original is completely unchanged and there is no export derived retouched or registration. Therefore, there is no need to separate the original and edited photo, because there is no retouched saved. Additional changes in Lightroom are managed the same, original remains unchanged, your changes are saved and there is no picture derived or recorded.

The only time wherever you can save a copy of the picture is that if you wanted a copy for one end non-Lightroom, in which case you use file-> export... in a 'temporary' folder to a file on disk, then you use the file created for any purpose non-Lightroom you have and once completed, you can delete the file in the temporary folder knowing that LR can recreate exactly if you need it again. If you want to print from LR, LR email, or create a webpage of LR or create a slideshow of LR, you need not create a photo exported.

Jpg and RAW, and DNG is that all treated the same to you, the user. Yes, there are internal differences that are not important to your workflow.

    Hello

You have disk problem as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (burn CD & DVD and CD and DVD read).
Therefore, it is not unusual for 1 or 2 rooms with not so work that others do it properly.

Step 1: Please make all underneath the same if you've done it before as it's often the total of the process which
    solves the problem.

    Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double-click on the device - driver tab - click
Update the drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then RIGHT click the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT
This will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue below.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a loose cable or

Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both

  • Need advice on the rendering of a file for authouring PAL DVD, format, codec, compression

    Hello.

Im working on an experimental audiovisual project that needs to be exported to a file that will be used for the DVD to a compilation of creative works. IM pretty much against it time, the deadline is close and im spending many hours trying different settings - output but still im do not reach the level of quality in the final file I expect to see.

Ive been given technical specifications are:

    -Maximum duration: 6 min.
    -PAL
    -16 x 9 if possible
    -mov file if possible

My compostion is in black and white and shades of gray. It was out of a video Toolbox in real-time, but I infact used Fraps to capture uncompressed video, as her reacts software at in realitme sound. No problem here, the images I got is fine and works perfectly, at 30 frames per second (here is perhaps one of my problems that maybe I should have output/captured video at 25 frames per second since I understand what the rate for PAL)

Anyway Ive done my compostion by superimposing several segments of the video captured in sync with the sound.

    (1) first of all, whenever I out in any format, everything becomes a little grey - IE the bottom black deep perfect dark gray go. How can I avoid this?

    (2) what is the best type of file to the format/path/from out for the conversion of best quality of 30 frames per second at 25 frames per second. I noticed that the video becomes slightly jerky when I got out with a PAL output configuration preset.

I would appreciate if someone could guide me on the best possible formats/file types and the bitrates to deal with this specific set of cladding im problems. Unfortunately, I need to make the due date in the coming days.

    Thank you very much

    p

If you create a DVD, there is really no choice of codecs, since the DVD-video is a very specific and closely forced to MPEG-2 video form. MPEG-2 video is highly compressed and is not a format high definition, so it is absolutely inevitable that export to DVD video will cause a loss of quality. This is true for the same professionally created DVD. There is a DVD MPEG-2 export preset in After Effects that you can choose in the Format menu in the settings of output Module dialog box.

If, however, you are given your video as input for a larger work, and you must create an intermediate file that keeps all the details for as long as possible in the post-production pipeline, you should view and export using lossless coding. My preference for the creation of intermediate files compressed without loss of sources of 8 bits-per-channel is the PNG video codec in QuickTime (MOV) container.

For information on the compression and the choice of the parameters for specific purposes, see this FAQ entry (and the pages it links to the):

    http://forums.Adobe.com/thread/729526

You said 'jerky' output. See this FAQ entry for more information on the movies encoded without loss and how they are not suitable for reading:

    http://forums.Adobe.com/thread/684381

Or maybe saccades comes from the inadequacy of the frequency of frames between your source 30 frames per second and 25 frames per second composition. If so, then interpolation can help.

JPEG images are considered normal browser content and do not generate an open/save/Cancel dialog box, unless the site sends a special header indicating that it should be treated as a download (disposition = attachment instead of inline).

To Save the image, your best integrated option is to right-click on the image and use save picture as or if it's a link to an image, right click the link and save the link under.

But to start the image in a different program, I can't think a built-in feature that can do this, then you probably need an add-on.

I see for example, there are extensions to open an image in PhotoShop or Fireworks:

If these programs are not relevant, if all goes well there is a more general purpose extension on the site that fits your needs.
