• U3415W, no audio in PBP Mode

  So I have this brand new U3415W connected to a 6900 AMD. Connected the monitor to the HDMI socket and CDM (mDP to DP) the ports on the card.

  If I use the screen as unique with HDMI, audio works. If I configure the PBP with HDMI or CDM as the main and others as sub, audio does not work. I tried swapping the audio input via the menu of the monitor (primary/secondary), but it does not work.

  As soon as I disable PBP and switch to the HDMI input. audio works again. During the test of Windows 7 clearly illustrates the output being pushed the HDMI AMD at any time.

  This seems to be a bug in the firmware.

  Does anyone have a solution for this? These devices firmware is upgradeable?

  I realized what the problem was.

  For anyone having the same problem, the problem is AMD 6870 GPU. Some resolutions don't give sound through HDMI.

  If I put the output 1980 x 1080, audio works. 1720 x 1440, is not!

  Hello. I have a Cisco TelePresence profile 52/55 double running TC6.1.1.7d7af15, which was the factory reset and after reconfiguration, this audio problems. Any audio simply no longer works (the people in the room can't hear).

  Regarding your license TC7 - if your unit is covered by an active service contract, you should be able to retrieve a license key from the Cisco Licensing Portal: http://www.cisco.com/go/licence

  You have no active service contract, you can communicate with ATC and refer to the recent secuirty GNU Bash Advisory to get a ' free update ' to TC7.2.1 under the section "customers without service contract.

  HI HI I'm having a little problem with my audio to computers. you see I have a Setup dual monitor so that even if I'm on my games my roommate can watch his movies (we have no TV) unless I have to disconnect from the game.   Unfortunately, in a configuration double monitor you won't be able to implement the dual audio. This is because vista allows only one card at a time his default and doesn't have the option of assigning speakers for a particular application.

• Audio Software OR Traktor - freezes for about half a second because of Dual Core

  I've been test Native Instruments Traktor DJ Studio 3 and very often the audio timeline would freeze for about half a second and the game continues. I also have a good low latency soundcard PCI card, so that does not these breaks.

  I managed to get rid of this problem by disabling the second processor core in the BIOS setup. However, I don't like the fact that I'll have to do each time that I use Traktor.

  Is it a hardware problem or software? Software that does not use the two hearts should be able to run without problems, but apparently, there are a few interruptions happening that prevent some programs smoothly.

  Why wouldn't be a hardware problem?
  The fact is that the processors with dual core Intel design and it will appear in Device Manager. Also I m sure that Intel will design with double CPU and core more in the future.

  However, I think and I'm sure it's only a software problem. Software developers have overlooked this fact that there could be another type of processors. In my opinion, you must contact the software manufacturing support to clear this problem. Maybe a few updates are available.

  I installed Vista on a P105-S9722 (it works fine) and created a second partition for installation of Windows XP Home edition. Everything is ok except that I'm unable to install the Conexant audio driver (I have a yellow exclamation point in device next to Conexant High Definition Audio Manager). Earlier I was able to install it on a simple boot WXP partition.

  Had a similar problem with my router Netgear of Virgin in Britain. My router has a network of comments rather than the two strips running on the same network, then the router has isolate traffic from 5 G to 2. 4 g. I connected to the interface of the router and changed the settings for everything, and it works.

  I really need to do a system dual boot with WIN7 If Yes.  WIN10 is not be nice to some specific software Attorney that I need to have to work for a client. Win7 is the latest OS, this software is compatible with before an upgrade of expensive software can't be compatible with Win8 or higher (we're talking $1000-2000 range).

  I tried to install WIN7 on this computer after the partitioning of the disk space, and put out several settings in the bios (I had error btw), but WIN7 keeps hanging in the first screen after loading the drivers (language selection screen). Something happens where ports USB closing killing all connections to the mouse and keyboard. I have tried many changes in the bios settings and a retry of the WIN7 Installer (from an installation disc) but no dice.

  Is there a certain combination of settings that must be disabled in the bios to get the win7 Installer right or I'm screwed?

  As you discovered, you must completely format the drive as one or the other (GPT or MBR).  You cannot format a GPT partition and the other in the MBR.

  I wonder if you had back and disabled the legacy mode, if W7 would let you install on the GPT - or partition if the disabling legacy mode would also have permitted secure boot.

  In any case, it's water under the bridge.

  I have a Toshiba laptop Satellite P100 PSPADE.
  OS: Win XP Professional
  Connected equipment: MOTU 828MKII Firewire or Terratec DMX 6Fire USB.

  There were MANY discussions on this subject, especially with your machine. Many users tried different solutions such as remove things from the device manager like you did already.

  In General, editing music with a laptop are not really optimal. For example:

  I have a computer of office machine with a Pentium 4 2.8/1 GB RAM/WD Raptor/ESI Juli @ and I also work with Cubase SX3. There is NO problem with the latency (latency DPC latencies around 15-30 microsec Watch).

  I tried to make some changes on my Tecra A9 which has a Dual-Core, 2 GB of RAM, a HARD drive with 7200 RPM with XP on it, etc... and at the beginning I had many heavy withdrawals.

  But after a search of this forum and a few other sites, Ive created a small tutorial:

  1. services:

  For Windows XP: Please visit the following site: http://www.blackviper.com/WinXP/winxp.htm
  and apply the configuration of services twisted.

  For Vista: Go to this site-> http://www.blackviper.com/WinVista/Services/ and see the following:
  -Configurations of Viper black Windows Vista SP1 Service-> twisted
  -Super Tweaks

  -In addition the client must disbale the service "smart card"!

  2 disable the following devices:

  -Compatible control method battery ACPI Microsoft
  -Intel ICH8M Ultra ATA Storage Controllers (including the optical disc drive)
  -Ethernet and Wifi
  -Storage-> Microsoft iSCSI initiator controllers
  SD card controller

  3 disable the powermanagement features:

  -In 'Device Manager' option to allow the computer to turn off this
  all "USB root hubs" should be unchecked
  -Create a separate powerplan who can be named 'Maximum' and put EVERYTHING
  maximum (disable these features like 'sleep' and 'sleep')

  4. run the application 'msconfig' (internal tool of windows) and remove all the
  unneded services and applications in the startup list, which could include
  some tools Toshiba as "configfree" "flashcards" etc., but at YOUR OWN RISK!

  5. as you have more network connections, you can also disable all
  services such as "Windows Defender", "Windows Firewall", "security policies."
  etc. which contains a large number of resources!

  6. I recommend to keep all the drivers including BIOS update. You can use
  drivers of Intel on the chipset/storage controller/graphic chipset
  which most are more recent so our pilots.

  -> Below only for Vista!
  7. at least, you must disable this thing together graphic Vista as
  «Aero, "Windows Sidebar", etc., and switch to the Vista Basic theme.» The window
  Manager themes Vista is necessary and a LOT of resources that offers more
