U430 Ram compatibility

I was hoping that someone could tell me if the following ram module is compatible with the IdeaPad U430 Touch, since I couldn't find any information about it.

http://www.microcenter.com/product/385183/8GB_DDR3-1600 _(PC3-12800) _CL11_SO-DIMM_Laptop_Memory_Modul...

I ended up finding a Patriot memory module, even if it wasn't on the list, and it worked very well.

  • About RAM compatibility...? HP Compaq Presario B2000

    Hello everyone,

First of all please forgive me for my lameness...

I have this old laptop that I use constantly up to now I have had NO problem/s which so than ever, except it requires upgrading memory, since it had 256 MB of memory when I bought it... I decided to update my ram at least 1 GB for my laptop to be more or less at par to the current requirements of modern software... Now my question is concerning the ram compatibility, I just wanted to ensure that the Rams are compatible since RAM DDR1 SODIMM are quite expensive compared to their DDR2 and DDR3 variants and once the Rams are purchased cannot be returned... more than info posted below...

Laptop: COMPAQ Presario B2000 (model: REPLACEMENT-L07C)

    s/n: KRD43404JD

    p/n: PE972PA #AB0

    Service: B2028AP

    OS: Windows XP

The only DDR1 SODIMM RAM available to my place where I live are:

    1. the TEAM Elite PC3200 DDR400 1 GB module

    2. TEAM Elite PC3200 DDR400 512 MB module

    Now my question:

1 are those DDR1 PC3200 RAM compatible with the laptop?

    2. If these Rams are compatible should I expect (1module) 1 gb ddr400 or (2modules) 512 mb ddr400 RAM to achieve a system of 1 GB of ram?

    3. I know it sucks but where I am from RAM DDR1 SODIMM are kindda rare and very hard to find.

Thank you that very very very much... and I hope to hear your words of wisdom... Thank you...

    You are the very welcome.

Analytical result image has not yet passed censorship HP.

I can't find anything on Crucial or Kingston of the site or the other, but I found this...

    http://www.upgradecomputermemory.com/RAM.cfm/memory/C/Compaq/Presario-notebook-memory/Presario-B-Series-notebook/Presario-B2000/

It's showing that this notebook can take up to 2 GB of memory (2 x 1 GB PC-2700 memory).

I don't know what to tell you. If it was me, I would buy only a single chip of 1 GB at a time to make sure it worked.

This place says that their memory is also guaranteed to be compatible.

  • HP Envy 15 t-q300: HP Envy15t - q300 RAM compatibility

    Hello

I just ordered a laptop, HP Envy 15 t-q300, and I have a question about RAM compatibility.

    Product number: L6E55AV_1

Link to the laptop I bought.

    http://store.HP.com/us/en/PDP/laptops/HP-envy---15T-slim-Quad-laptop-l6e55av-1#! & TabName = specifications

It comes with 1 DIMM 8 GB RAM DDR3L. Now, I just ordered another 8GB DDR3 (who says 1.35 V well and at a retailer like Newegg the same RAM is also referred to as DDR3L) to put in the empty space to make a total of 16 GB.

RAM I ordered for location empty.

    http://www.crucial.com/USA/en/ct102464bf160b

Is it OK to have two different modules in two different sockets?

Will be the performance degrades or may not close to having similar modules?

Is it OK to put the module above as well as one who came at HP?

Comments or suggestions will be appreciated.

Also comments on the laptop that I ordered?

    Thank you

I bought the same and he has since then worked without problem.

  • HP dv6 6140tx: Ram compatibility

My laptop have received 2 slots and is expandable up to 16 GB. The laptop came with Ramaxel 4 GB ddr3 1333 mhz ram (rmt3020ec58e9f-1333) in 1 location. Now, I want to add a 4 GB stick in the second slot to improve it to 8 GB. The same ram brand is not available in my country so can I use this RAM: Transcend JM1333KSN '4G '. Its frequency and voltage is the same as ram Ramaxel. Are there any other specs I need to check?

    http://www.flipkart.com/transcend-ddr3-4-gb-laptop-dram....

This ram works fine and the system can run on two channels or there will be no compatibility issues?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance

Yes, it's as close as you can get. Same speed, density, time of latency. The computer should consider the type of memory and run in dual channel mode.

  • HP Pavilion dv7 cl 2273 RAM compatibility

    Greetings:

I bought two Kingston DDR3 memories, product code KVR13S9S8/4 (4 GB), when installed PC does not start, it will not even turn on display, HDD seems to be active at a given time, but I'm just stuck to this black screen.

I guess it's a compatibility problem, so far I wasn't able to find out why these Rams do not work with my laptop. Care say MOBO supports up to 8GB DDR3 initially two 2 GB DDR3 - 1066 PC38500, these Rams from Kingston, I bought are PC3 - 10600 1333. As far as I know these Rams should be compatible, but I'm afraid, I was wrong.

Should what factors I consider when getting any RAM module for my laptop? I assumed DDR type was enough, but I was wrong.

Any advice will be great, thank you for your response.

What is a Core 2 Duo T6600? I also find some specs saying it has DDR3, you already know since you can't put DDR3 in a DDR2 slot.

    Kingston Value RAM specifications:

    http://www.Kingston.com/datasheets/kvr13s9s8_4.PDF

not to say more precisely that memory is capable of downclocking at 1066 speed. There must be a problem of compatibility like that or you have a bad key. Have you tried to start with single sticks of Kingston?

  • NB550d - 2 GB RAM compatibility

    Hello

My netbook boots each time the first time with the module memory of 1 GB included, but takes about 5/6 attempts with a module of Crucial 2 GB which was announced as being 100% compatible' just, the screen stays black and the hard drive light flashes, then I guess that's a failure of memory test.

I can return the module to get a refund, but everyone in the United Kingdom may recommend an alternative to the module that works and the provider I can ge of

  • Satellite M30X-113 - RAM compatibility

    Hello

I intend to get my memory improved module of current 2 X 256 (DDR 166 MHz). I wanted to know what my options are. Can I install module DDR2 RAM 512 MB each.
I don't know if DDR2 is supported for my laptop.

    Can someone please help.

    Thank you very much.

    I found tracking information:
Your laptop can be upgraded up to 2 GB of RAM.
Compatible memory modules following part number:
    PC2700 512 MB (PA3312U - 1 M 51)
    1024MO PC2700 (PA3313U-1M1G)

DDR2 memory modules are used with the new laptop models and I think that you can not use them with your old Satellite M30X.

  • HP Pavilion Media Center a1440: HP Pavilion Media Center a1440n Desktop PC ram compatibility upgrade

    Can I replace the ram (1 x pc-4200) original with 4 x1GB 240-pin DDR2 667 (PC2-5300) ECC SDRAM Desktop memory?

    Eastvanray, welcome to the forum.

This is memory that is supported by the motherboard:

    Four connectors DIMM DDR2 240-pin

    Supports PC2-3200 (400 MHz), PC-4200 (533 MHz) and PC-5300 (667 MHz) DDR DIMM

HP/Compaq approved maximum memory is 4 GB *.

Note: * actual available memory may be less

The memory that you want to install says it is ECC.  I think that the motherboard use more memory non - ECC.  Furthermore, I believe that your OS is 32-bit.  Therefore, only 3.25 GB of memory would be usable.

  • X 230 RAM compatibility

    Hi all.

I read everywhere and personally see no reason that neither of them should work, but I've read some reports of people having problems with the Corsair does not and having to go back to her and the second pair does not. Then the HyperX for some reason any mentions all chip sets around the QM77 that is used in the X 230, but not the QM77 itself, which puts one more time no doubt in my mind. Can you confirm if one or both of these kits RAM (2x8GB) would be appropriate?

Yes, it seems to work very well. BIOS and my Linux both recognize full 16 GB. Does not all performance tests or anything like that well. And althouh I've upgraded to a SSD at the same time I still seem to is I/O issues as if I'm playing music (for example mp3s to Audacious) and unzip a file, I get audio drop and freezes very occasional, that I don't really understand!

But I'm going off topic now, I can say that the RAM itself is perfectly suitable.

  • RAM compatibility?

Hi there everyone in that I currently have 8 GB (2 x 4) Ram my iMac late 2014 5 k and I want to upgrade. I read on the forums that if I buy 2x8gb ram, I'll be able to add them to my current 8 GB giving me a total of 24 GB of RAM. Is this correct? Should I do something to get them to work outside of a conventional installation of Ram?

If that's the case this RAM will be compatible with what I already have in my iMAC?

Stay away fom Kingston. Get your http://eshop.macsales.com/ or Crucial http://www.crucial.com OWC ram

  • HP 15-r036tu - is the 1600 Mhz DDR3 RAM compatibility

I have a HP 15-r036tu - I just want to know if 1600 Mhz DDR3 RAM is compatible with your laptop.

The laptop has 1 single slot memory.

When I run utility CPU - Z, it shows that the existing memory is of type PC-12800.

Can I upgrade it to 4 GB to 8 GB (16000 Mhz)? or I have to buy 1333 Mhz RAM.

    Hello

The following link shows the specifications of your computer:

    http://support.HP.com/au-en/document/c04319064

It uses 2.58 GHz Intel Pentium N3530 with Intel HD graphics card which is a trail Bay processor therfore all you have a mchine chich 1 location: DDR3 1333 MHz Dual Channel Support (DDR3L-1600 demoted to the)(Bay Trail processors) DDR3-1333

You can use 1600 MHz RAM, but it will be automatically upgraded to 1333 MHz.

    Kind regards.

  • DV6-3030er RAM compatibility

    Hey there!

I finally decided to add an another 4 GB of RAM on my laptop HP dv6-3030er, which has two units of Samsung m471b5673fh0-ch9 aboard. I checked the computer specifications and the RAM beforehand and ran the widely recommended Crucial test as well (the database does not include this particular model, but the results for the whole family 3030 are identical).

After some research, I bought two units of Kingston KVR13S9S8/4 RAM (here's the datasheet). The BIOS recognized them, and memory test results have been very good. However, I could not go beyond the Windows startup screen: it fades quickly and a new apears to screen, saying that Windows could not load and asking to "start Windows normally" or "launch startup repair." Both lead to the same results.

If I install a single stick of RAM at the same time, however, the results are even more exciting: the starting ends with a BSOD saying DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. In any case, the new sticks do not seem compatible with the laptop, even if the latency CASE clock speed and che are similar.

While surfing through this forum, I saw someone mentioning the big brother of this model: Kingston KVR1333D3S9 / 4 G (data sheet) and reports that it works fine. It has 16 FGBA components agaginst 8 and a power more low (1.41W against almost 2W) the operating power. Energy consumption would be capture? I heard, this problem can sometimes be solved in tinkering with values of power of the modules via the BIOS, which is impossible in this case.

    Kind regards

    Ivan.

Hi, perhaps you should consider the purchase of different memory modules Kingston. I have checked the specification of your laptop and the cpu must be an Intel Core i5 - 450 M processor. The modules you have are 1333 MHz those however, specifications for the processor to Intel say that 800 / 1066 MHz are supported by the processor. This means that the memory would downclock to 1333 MHz to 800 / 1066 MHz and it is unnecessary to use 1333 MHz modules as you can see they are not yet compatible. I think that the modules Kingston 1066 MHz will work. I've seen a similar problem with the same laptop PC series, but the user could not initialize with the memory at all. He was also an i5 processor and the service guide States that only i7-720qm and higher processors are compatible with 1333 MHz modules (plug for i7 processors Intel confirms that too).
