  With macOS Sierra, when used as a network print service printer works fine however scan does not work. Programs like the Image Capture, HP Easy Scan etc does not see the printer. However, if the printer is directly connected to the Macbook Pro using the usb cable, a new printer is added to the list of printers (it shows print and scan functions while the printer network in the list shows only printing function) and the scanner works well with Image Capture, etc. If the usb cable is removed disconnects this printer in the list and there is no way to turn it on. I have the latest update for the printer installed from the App store. It looks like a driver issue, but I wonder if there is a work around for this problem...

• Safari problem with el capitan 10.14.4

  I use a MacBook Pro mid 2012. I just upgraded to El Capitan 10.14.4 and have now some problems with Safari 9.1. Some links on the BBC News site no longer work. During the inspection of these links, they begin with < button id >. Can someone tell what is happening and how to fix it?

  I found a work around for the problem. Use Firefox instead of Safari, as the problem does not occur in Firefox!

• Problems with El Capitan w / WD external hard drive

  I have trouble with El Capitan find the external hard drive. I put a couple of external hard drive in both my mac mini.

  It was before mini mac OS El Capitan. But lately, my mac mini showed that the WD My Book was read-only. Then, the WD hard drive disappeared from my finder! Same with Disk Doctor app.

  What format is the external drive in?

  If you have used NTFS before OS X El Capitan your third-party NTFS software will need to be updated.  OS X can natively read NTFS volumes, but the third party software is necessary to allow write access.

  If your player is in HFS +, then it could be a permissions problem.

• Problems with El Capitan on iMac 27 "end 2013

  Hello. I had some problems with my end 2013 27 "iMac. The majority of my problems seems to be turning around not being able to wake from its slumber unless I hard boot the system. I am running the operating system more recent 10.11.3

  Sleep problems have started with my installation of El Capitan. I have reset the PRAM the SMC and have disabled the hibernation and Energy Saver preferences are set to never spin down hard drives or screen saver. Problem persists.

  I also experience unexpected freezes. When these occur usually, audio on my system continues (if listening to iTunes or in a video game, the audio keeps going) but there is no response from the mouse or the movement on the screen at all. key board does not respond and mouse is frozen. The last time I had it's happen I had a panic the kernel to reboot (see below for the report)

  I tried everything I can think of. I've scoured the forums on the internet for help and support. Im not sure if this is hardware or software related. I tried to unplug all of my devices - I have several hard drives USB and Thunderbolt. I have a second monitor connected via the bolt of lightning as well. This could be a video card problem?

  I have used the EtreCheck software and have gotten several things that make me wonder if it's the software however, it seems that somewhere I still have pieces of teamviewer lingering around, even if I had uninstalled the software and I can't find anything in the spotlight for her.   Some things I noticed - I had questions on shut down the system. My computer completely sometimes turns. I have to force quit the finder or the dock still will remain open and prevent the closing down. If this happens, then I need hard closed by pushing the power button until the device turns off. My system is INCREDIBLY slow sometimes since the upgrade as well at el capitan.

  I had a few problems with the big Adobe applications as well - sometimes illustrator or photoshop does any open or apps say they are open in the dock and in the force to quit smoking, but do not show in the activity monitor. In this case I have to restart my system for most work. force quit does not help them.

  Sorry for the long post, but I have worked on Macs since OS7 and even worked in an apple store genius bar for awhile so I generally know what I can do to fix these but I can't get it probably remain fixed. I thought better to have as much information as possible. My next step is to reload the entire OS, but I have a lot of work here that I'm afraid to lose (even though I have several back ups via time machine and other copies on external drives)

• Material RANE/Serato SL2 SL3 SL4 Core Audio Port problem with El Capitan

  I and many others have had problems when using devices with Rane Serato DJ software where the breaks down of software, nor will we get audio drop-outs and crashes.
  (Audio Interface) device that I use is RANE SL3.

  Serato have updated their software (1.8.1) to take in charge the last OX El Capitan (10.11.2) and announced that the problem is with the drivers of RANE and Serato not.

  Rane suggested only that downgrade us our BONES to the Mavericks or Yosemite. This should not be the case!

  We need answers, and for not having spent somebody else as everyone pushes the blame.

  Please you can find what the solution is rather then downgraded to a previous operating system. It's a very frustrating with all the people who spent loads of money on a Macbook and RANE hardware especially this time of the year where we DJs play every weekend like our jobs.

  My mac pro book, is new, clean a well used to work in design and photography. After update 10.11.4 (15E65), the system starts to have problems. Connect an external display with an hdmi cable, because the total crash system, the only solution is to restart the computer. This behavior is coming even when the computer is not active in sleep mode, the keyboard does not work, and the only solution is press the power button to restart the laptop.

  How can I create a file of the State of the computer, or get assistant in this case. This system now looks like a f * windows xp, crashing every time and without specific reason.

  Several days ago the wizard help notified me that I had to do an update review. It was an update Broadcom Bluetooth of a certain type. He had numbers, a slash and more after him.  I installed it.  He went through all the steps of installation, but not the last step.  Now, I get an error whenever I start up the computer indicating that BTtray.exe does not load and btwapi.dll is not found.  Initially, I had Windows 8 and upgraded to 8.1 shortly after buying the computer. I have a wireless network adapter N Premium and Bluetooth (R) (2 x 2).  The only wireless thing I use my keyboard and mouse. I don't use Bluetooth, I bought the Bluetooth with my new computer for possible future use. I can't get rid of this message at startup.

  In addition, since HP Support Assistant made this mess, I decided to uninstall it. I can't uninstall it.  I tried to reinstall what can or was not perhaps not a newer version and settle, tried to uninstall and couldn't.  The Support Assistant comes with the computer of Windows 8. Now, I can not open HP Support Assistant.

  Now comes the Windows Update and it keeps me providing a lot of optional software. I'm now trying all that they offer.

  I fixed it without doing a system restore.  I went the SWSETUP and found the original SP, which has installed the HPSA. Since it has been uninstalled in part and partly not. I reinstalled the original who put the MSI available again.  Then, once that he the reinstalled, I used the uninstall found in the same ESP under SWSETUP and removed.  It took everything with it that you had to go and I have no more problems. In addition, I had found HPSA running in the Manager of tasks and Services got deleted as they should have.  Bad installing Bluetooth which began the questions was related to the services that are running.  Because I'm not using Bluetooth, I roamed my computer and stop all the Bluetooth Services running.  I have all service packs, has not deleted because they are not hurt anything sitting there. I have no error message.  I was getting a network message and I do not use a network on my PC and I was getting the error MSI just try to uninstall HPSA.  The MSI error would leap upward when you try to uninstall using the control panel and it is because Windows could do not seem to find this program in the MS file.  The wrong program installed I think was linked to Widcomm, probably a program of Broadcom Bluetooth.   Windows tried to use 13c4ce.msi from the windows file to uninstall through Control Panel.  It does not work. The following issues have been resolved for btwapi.dll, BTTray.exe, 1316 network error and MSI error.  HPSA does not work in Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit.  Updates are not correct and I think that it is better to get updates.  Even the online hp scan does not work. Find your computer and peripherals, it fails to find updates for you.   I have my hp printer works very well and set up properly and he always tells me that I need an update that I have.  HPSA would be great if it worked. Interesting that somehow Windows Update picked up that my computer had been messed up and showed two updates that were made some time it y a. I reinstalled and no problem from that. Thank you. • iMac g5 problem with el capitan iCloud email

  El Capitan after installation I can't simply the iCloud email author; If I go to my e-mail iCloud, I have to manually switch outgoing messages to another e-mail server to transmit.  I tried to reinstall iCloud in the preferences.  No help.  Can someone provide suggestions?  It's crazy collateral damage to my daily routine - I wish honestly I had not installed El Capitan.  My system: iMac G5, OSx10.11.2, Intel Core i5; Processor 2.7 GHz, 4 GB memory.  Thanks to anyone who can help me solve this problem.   Sam W.

  Go to system information and get the model number of your iMac.  It will look like this:

  

  There is no G5 iMac that can run any more recent than 10.5.8 System.  They have all PowerPC processors, Intel that are required for newer systems.

  

• Problems with El Capitan and using my MAcBook Pro password.

  After I down loaded El Capitan, I wasn't able to use my password to connect to my MacBook Pro. The only way I can enter now is to restart Safari guest mode, only it can I use my password and log in as myself. Someone knows how to solve this problem or how to get rid of El Capitan and return to Yosemite.

• Raw 6.19 compatibility problem with El Capitan 10.11 camera

  Given that I've updated the Lightroom, Camera Raw, a few days before, she is not any the D810 Nikon NEF files.

  This means that permissions on the Destination folder has changed. It is a common problem when the operating system is updated.

  First, determine the destination folder that you use. This is in the dialog box to import Lightroom on the right side.

  In your operating system, go to the Destination folder and change the permissions to read & write

• Problem with El Capitan

  After the installation of El Capitan, Dreamweaver didn't download all my files. The message was mistake FTP. now my site is not displayed.

  What is the solutiin. Should I uninstall El Capitan and reinstall Yosemite. How do I do that?

  I found a solution. I changed the ftp settings by checking the first two boxes when editing my site. If all goes well, it's the end of it.

  s PG music "band in a box" software having problem with El Capitan 10.11.3 operation?

  FWIF it there a number of Mac Audio products who do not appear as 10.11.x and normally I would say that the developers have months to understand, but there is only tools 10.11 maybe the question that companies like Line 6 the whispers have blogs of developer who said they worked with Apple but do not have a satisfactory solution. In the meantime, see if your product needs an update and that you are running a compatible version, otherwise consider do backward to a previous state of the BONE where the software worked properly if you have a backup Time Machine to restore from available for you.
