Unable to connect to Internet wireless device is not found
I disabled somehow my Dell XPS laptop computer and I can't log on the internet. I can not even find the 'Connect To' button in the start menu. My wireless device cannot be located using the hardware and sound which is under the control panel. I have Windows 7. I was trying to understand why my computer was not load the latest updates from Microsoft. I thought I found the solution on the forums and when I tried what has happened and now I can not even find how I got into this mess. I really hope someone can help me. Thank you
I thought about it. Finally managed to find the link that me trouble: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_other-windows_update/windows-7-pro-64-bit-10-updates-fail-to-install/2493fd34-9d3d-47b8-a592-bd0183399b2c
Four hours later and all is well except that I still haven't understood updates. Who will save for another day.

Yes, I have all the products from Samsung, has everything to the computer screen one touch, a multifunction printer and a score of Galaxy (I717 GHS). My wireless network is with Dish Network. The computer and the printer works fine, but I cannot access my network wireless via my smartphone. I saw the control panel to display all installed devices but my wireless router is not displayed. Unable to connect to internet wireless - WLAN card non - Satellite Pro M10
Hi, I just got a second hand toshiba satellite pro M10 and I just of him relandscaped and put windows xp home edition on it. What I would like to be able to do is to connect to my network wireless of families so that I can get rid of all the cables on the floor. My laptop seems to think that there is no wireless card installed well. Now, I had the same problem with the lan cable, but I went on the tosibas Web site and downloaded a patch and update the driver in Device Manager. I am not able to do it with the wireless as there are no drivers to download for it and there is apparently no for this device in the Device Manager. Could someone please help me and tell me what to do and how I can download a patch or fix the problem. Thank you, Andrew Reid
Hello
first of all, have you installed the drivers according to the installation instructions?
If this is not the case, this can cause problems. When you see the wireless card works correctly in the Device Manager, check if you get a signal of any router. If there is nothing the card WLAN is defective, or the router works with another standard (a, b, g).
Good bye

Unable to connect to other wireless networks
RE: Unable to connect to other wireless networks
- My computer is a HP Pavilion dv7 1232nr Entertainment Center
- My OS is Windows Vista 64 bit
- I have installed many things over the past year, but know that at some point, I was able to get on free Wi - Fi in hotels
I am able to connect to my network, but when I try to connect to others, I'm unable to do. I have their password and my computer SHOWS I have a connection, but actually I'm not. When I try to connect to the Internet, the server is not found. I called the support/supplier for the last network owner and he told me that even if I "thought" I was online, I really wasn't. He said that it is probably a router configuration for that person that does not correspond to my computer. As I was just visiting, of course I didn't mess with their router. This happened to me twice, with once the provider is the same as mine, but the only way I could get connected with a hard link.
So far, the only thing I did is to see if I could connect to free wireless (municipal library) and was unsuccessful. I think the problem is with my settings, but am not sure. I have to be careful to change anything because I can't afford to lose my connection at home because my job depends on it.
Any suggestions?
Thanks for any advice you might be able to share.
Hi, Pat:
I am very confident that if you download and install the driver from the link below, your problem will be solved.

Original title: Unable to connect to the wireless network
Unable to connect to the network wireless Toshiba Satellite A105 PC running Windows 7. "Windows could not finish repairing the problem because it is impossible to perform the following action. Renewal of your IP address. Works with Windows XP SP2, IE 8.00.6001.18702 file, I think that Version 3. It has been installed on a disk provided by Microsoft after that old installation became corrupt (in the sense of Microsoft technical support.) Before that, wireless network worked well. (So unable to connect to the Internet for updates.) Have tried to change the other settings and different messages acquired when it SHOWS that I am connected but cannot connect because of something to do with the certificate. Can someone help with the following problem please?
I'm unable to connect to the wireless network.
I have an Acer Aspire 5315 with an Atheros AR5007EG wireless adapter. This shows that "working properly" in the Device Manager. I tried to re - install the drivers for it constantly. They seem to everyone install ok but I still have the problem.
The symptoms are...
(1) if I try to set up a wireless connection, I get "unexpected error occurred". There is no useful looking for messages in the event viewer.
(2) if I use "Diagnose and repair" I get "knows the network adapter driver or hardware related issues.
I uninstalled everything which I think could be the cause of conflicts. I scanned for malware. I have run chkdsk and sfc. I have all the updates from Windows Update. I tried in Safe Mode with networking, but still get the same results.
OS is Vista Home Basic 32-bit SP2.
I would be grateful for any advice that might help solve this please.
I have now re-installed Windows and everything works fine. I still have no idea what caused the problem, or if it could have been set without a re - install.
Thanks for the replies.

Satellite L300 - unable to connect to the wireless network
I have a NETGEAR router and a Toshiba Satellite L300 laptop HP DV2000.
The HP can connect to my wireless network and also my neighbors network next door (which is not secure)
However, the L300 can only connect to the network of my nextdoor neighbour even if it can 'see' the NETGEAR network.I changed the security from WPA to WEP up to now no security at all, and it seems not to matter.
The strange thing is that my L300 CAN connect to a wireless network, but not mine! And my wireless network works as I can connect from my HP laptop.
On the L300 it shows 5 bars on the NETGEAR is not a problem of weak signal.Any help would be appreciated.
Try changing the WLAN settings on your router. Compare the WLAN settings on the settings of your laptop and the router.
Test it with standard B on both devices.
I mean if your laptop can see neighbours WLAN card wireless network in the laptop must be OK.
I really thing all is due to wrong WLAN settings.Play around with that sort of thing.
