• Unable to connect to a wireless network - "the network card know driver or hardware related issues.

  Can someone help with the following problem please?

  I'm unable to connect to the wireless network.

  I have an Acer Aspire 5315 with an Atheros AR5007EG wireless adapter. This shows that "working properly" in the Device Manager. I tried to re - install the drivers for it constantly. They seem to everyone install ok but I still have the problem.

  The symptoms are...

  (1) if I try to set up a wireless connection, I get "unexpected error occurred". There is no useful looking for messages in the event viewer.

  (2) if I use "Diagnose and repair" I get "knows the network adapter driver or hardware related issues.

  I uninstalled everything which I think could be the cause of conflicts. I scanned for malware. I have run chkdsk and sfc. I have all the updates from Windows Update. I tried in Safe Mode with networking, but still get the same results.

  OS is Vista Home Basic 32-bit SP2.

  I would be grateful for any advice that might help solve this please.

  I have now re-installed Windows and everything works fine.  I still have no idea what caused the problem, or if it could have been set without a re - install.

  Hi, I just got a second hand toshiba satellite pro M10 and I just of him relandscaped and put windows xp home edition on it. What I would like to be able to do is to connect to my network wireless of families so that I can get rid of all the cables on the floor. My laptop seems to think that there is no wireless card installed well. Now, I had the same problem with the lan cable, but I went on the tosibas Web site and downloaded a patch and update the driver in Device Manager. I am not able to do it with the wireless as there are no drivers to download for it and there is apparently no for this device in the Device Manager.   first of all, have you installed the drivers according to the installation instructions?
  If this is not the case, this can cause problems.

  When you see the wireless card works correctly in the Device Manager, check if you get a signal of any router. If there is nothing the card WLAN is defective, or the router works with another standard (a, b, g).

  I have the Intel WiFiLink 5100 adapter with the latest driver for Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bit installed. The laptop is not a wireless connection manager and I am trying to connect using the Windows wireless connection manager.

  I checked in the Services and found that service autoconfiguration WLAN and Extensible Authentication Protocol services are not running.

  When I tried to start the WLAN auto configuration service, I get the following error...
       Windows could not start the service WLAN autoconfiguration on Local computer.
       Error 1068: The dependency service or group could start.

  When I tried to start the service of Extensible Authentication Protocol, I get this error...
       Windows could not start the service on Local computer Extensible Authentication Protocol.
       Error 1053: The service did not demand launch or timely control.

  I found that all dependent services for the EAP are running. And all dependent services for autoconfiguration WLAN service are running except the EAP service.

  I searched the internet for the solution madly before posting here. Any help is greatly appreciated!

  Basically, I use NET connection of type PP - Poe, that requires a user name & password to connect. I have 1 Mbps plan of development. recently, I bought a D-link wireless router.
  Connectivity is as---> main internet cable in this way will my internet port of the router. One cable goes on my desk from the LAN1 router lan port. I have configured my router with all the necessary parameters saved & now when I start my computer I dnt need to put the user name and password to connect to the internet.
  I is automatically connected to my network using the router I think.
  Now, the problem is that I use it more than 3 to 4 months. but now, when I start my pc, the network icon on the keep the taskbar on the search for the network all the time.
  Oh, I can't do something, or I can use my cursor also because I move my cursor, but cannot use it. Thus, in this condition I vigorously shutdown my pc, the turnoff to my router & then I start my pc. so if I want to connect to the network, I remove the mains cable and the plugin on my office lan and evrything port works fine. in this State I put the user name and password to connect to the internet.
  SO the thing is these days each time, I keep my router IT and start my pc to the Dungeon of the taskbar, the network icon on the turning points for an unlimited period.
  then, when I am facing this problem I keep my pc WE & the turnoff to my router, then after some time the icon bar of the tasks of the network stop (research or rotation) and it's yellow exclamation point. then use the internet I remove the cable main network from the router and connect to my office. He asks username and password then the connection works fine.
  I am using windows 7 ultimate 64-bit.
  still a very strange thing is when I'm dealing with this network icon turning question I connect my cell phone to my wi - fi router & it works well, but the scenario with my office is the icon itself keep turning. I use a basic wireless router. model No.:. DIR-524.

When I try to connect to the Internet, the server is not found. I called the support/supplier for the last network owner and he told me that even if I "thought" I was online, I really wasn't. He said that it is probably a router configuration for that person that does not correspond to my computer. As I was just visiting, of course I didn't mess with their router. This happened to me twice, with once the provider is the same as mine, but the only way I could get connected with a hard link.

  So far, the only thing I did is to see if I could connect to free wireless (municipal library) and was unsuccessful. I think the problem is with my settings, but am not sure. I have to be careful to change anything because I can't afford to lose my connection at home because my job depends on it.

  Any suggestions?
