• Cannot create links with editing in the browser

  Sorry to post this here, but I'm out of options. Three of my clients are unable to create links on their sites using IBE. I tried to reach out to the IBE team on it for more than a month. I called Adobe Support the other day, that escalating the issue to the BIE team, who sent an automatic e-mail response that I was here in 24 hours, which was a week ago.

  These issues in IBE makes null and void, and I'll have to do all updates for customers of myself while apologizing constantly telling them that they would be able to make changes to their sites as themselves.

  Is there anyone on this forum who can attract the attention of the IBE team? Please note - I have tried all the normal channels.

  This is a known bug and there is a current fix. Basically what is happening, it's there are two changes taking place simultaneously: 1) addition of text in a text frame and 2.) adding a link. The solution for all those who faced this problem is to add your text, click outside the text frame, click inside and add your link to the text (to break in two separate actions).

  Update (October 11, 2016): this issue has been resolved by the release of today. Adding hyperlinks to the new text should now work the first time.

  I wish I had a solution how to simplify this workflow - for example by a script - very well.

  I expect this may be film script, but in IDCS4, it can be just as quick to go to the menu of hyperlinks, select all hyperlinks, click hyperlink Options, and then under Appearance section change the Invisible Rectangle Type.

  You can't have multiple root within a group of cache tables. The requirements for tables in the group a cache are very strict; There must be only one top-level (root table) table and there may possibly be several children tables. Tables of the child should be linked through foreign keys to the root table or a child table above in the hierarchy.

  The solution for your case is among the tables of root and the other root table in a separate cache group and the child table in a cache group. If you do this, you must take care of a few things:

  1. you cannot define foreign keys between the tables of groups of different cache in TimesTen (keys may exist in Oracle) so the application must enforce referential integrity itself for these cases.

  2. If you load data in a cache group (using LOAD the GROUP CACHE or "load we demand") and Timesten will not automatically load the corresponding data in the other group of cache (since he doesn't know the relationship). The application must load the data into the other group of cache explicitly.

  There is no problem with transactional consistency when changes are pushed to Oracle. TimesTen maintains and reinforces the coherence transactional regardless of how the tables are arranged in groups cache correctly.

  Read post 1 once again. You want to use the layer style (double click to the right of the name of the layer in the layers panel) and use the option of the race. You can even set layer styles to apply to objects with a single click. If you frequently need the thick rectangle, it will be a click.

  Layer style presets that are predefined values and cannot be changed on the fly just like real styles, but they are still very useful.

  I'm creating a plugin in Acrobat 9. The plugin must find a text to PDF and create a link to this topic annotation.

  I use PDWordFinder to find the text in the pdf file. But I am unable to create the annotation link as create an annotation requires the ASFixedRect object.

  Can anyone help me how can I get object ASFixedRect of a word especially in pdf format to create a link annotaion on it?

  As I've already said:

  When you use the word finder, you can get the quad for each word.

  A quad is now the corners of four shape faces - not necessarily a rectangle. But if you make the smallest rectangle that surrounds the quad, it's the best that you can make a rectangular link.
