Unable to get good quality audio/video.

I am creating a video chat application, and any combination of camera/Microphone/NetStream properties and functions that I use, I can't get high-quality video/audio. I sometimes get audio latency, video pixelated, occasional frozen video and the degree of each depends on the combination of the functions/properties I set/call.

Others like TokBox TinyChat, Chat Roulette, etc. have reached the high quality of video/audio with FMS, what is the secret? At least point me in the right direction, because at the moment I'm not impressed by the ability of the FMS to provide a good experience of video/audio.

BTW, I use a P2P mesh using a group specifier, not NetStream.DIRECT_CONNECTIONS.

Thanks in advance!

So, in your case, the FMS application is "ChatApp" to which you are connecting. You can find it under the directory/opt/adobe/fms/applications or/mnt/applications or anywhere where the application directory is mapped to. The mapping can be found in the fms.ini file in the conf folder with the variable VHOSTS. APPSDIR

The rest of the code snippet is how to make the mesh of P2P, and it seems ok for me.

We can assume that P2P is the way to go. DIRECT CONNECTIONS is P2P 1.0 (in my opinion).

For more optimizations, you must ensure the following:

No loss of packets on your network: because P2P is over UDP, it must be a careful observation of your network traffic

Don't use queues

Reduce OutChunkSize (this can be found in server.xml), and you can always read the comments above each tag for a description of its function.

Optimal use of bit rates for audio and video that supports your network

Reduce the length of the buffer on the client side (ideally 0 or 0.1) so that it start reading instantly without any delay and reducing latency

Here are some points I can think quickly!

Thank you!

  • Formats files and other things for hi-quality HD video, multifaceted question?  Help, please!

I just bought a Panasonic SC - V770 HD camcorder.  He recorded in 1080/60 p AVCHD or 1080 / 50 M MP4 as options high Qual... First Q?  should what format I use to capture my videos at home for the highest quality.  2nd Q, my plan is to store them on a server computer that I use for broadcast on the network and watch on my HD TV.  What should be the final revised/rendering format of the first Pro CC for streaming and backup to keep my HD videos of high quality for years to come?   Should I store in a Hi-bitrate MPEG2 HQ or HQ, Hi-bitrate H.264 mp4?   Thank you!!

There is no easy answer.   AVCHD and H264 MP4 are capable of high quality capture and storage.  Which is better choice boils down to what your made.

Both formats are saved via a codec that compresses (but almost everything is these days.)

In terms of absolute quality, AVCHD is probably wins by a nose.  However, in terms of compatibility, file size and current usage is, h.264/MP4 is probably the slight winner...

FYI, AVCHD is a format jointly developed by Sony and Panasonic, so if someone can get the best out of it, there's a good chance it could be you Panasonic camcorder.

Frankly, you will get good quality of work so be it.  If it were me, I would probably shoot AVCHD then, after editing, export to MP4 H.264 for the storage and distribution... but there is no answer "right".

  • noob ultimate need to help get the quality on the videos I uploaded toyoutube

Hi my name is Sami - I film a sports fun project to help people get in shape and find the form and it's all good

I record my stuff with a Canon HFS21 of Legeria and im not a wizzard from camera, but I know it's good and recorded in high quality hd.

Now, when I take the records and copy them to my computer the definition is incredible and looks really good and strong.

My challenge is that the files are in the format .mts so I need them (I use avs video converter 7) convert it to avi, before I edit them in adobe first elements 9 (I have to do that because there is no sound on the .mts clips when I move them at first) (is it possible to convert from adobe first?).

I then convert them in avs video converter 7 (and I'm not sure if I am using the correct settings :) BTW I want TO HAVE THE MOST OPTIMAL FOR DOWNLOAD FROM YOUTUBE!

Then I'm done editing I press share and I uploaded on youtube 1920 x 1080

Then when I finally see the YouTube video quality is shaded, fuzzy, crumsy, fuzzy you say and not sharp at all - you can take a look here

How to improve this quality - how to preserve the quality of 'origin' of the video files?

I guess that lose I the quality when I convert? Is it possible to convert the files first?

Is it possible to improve the quality of the videos that I already have converted and completed?

    Is there a solution

Please help me - I would be really happy because I really want to put a message out there and help people with discount in shape and people really appreciate clear and accurate movies and it really gives the viewer a better experience to watch it and I know it would really make a difference.

And btw. IM don't understand computer jargon, so please draw out in the box for me if this isn't too

    Thanks in advance

The problem is that you take a format camcorder is able to work with and convert to a format that it can NOT work with Premiere Elements.

This video product Canon AVCHD camcorder. You should shoot any video you want to edit in Premiere Elements only in MXP or FXP mode. Then when you are ready to edit the video in Premiere Elements, you must set up a project for stereo 1920 x 1080 AVCHD. (Unless you're shooting in 5.1 audio. This cam shoots in a number of formats).

DO NOT CONVERT YOUR VIDEO BEFORE PUT YOU IN FIRST ELEMENTS.

You can then use these specifications of high quality for YouTube video output.

  • When I add my dLink surveillance camera media, files avi land always in the place of the consumer audio video area. Why and how can I get them to land as Visual?

I'm trying to change some of the footage taken by our camera dLink bit when we're not home, but when I import .avi files, it will always just for audio (from first 11 elements), and nothing shows that the video. What I am doing wrong? Be aware, I am completely new to this program, because I bought to play with my camera dLink home videos and have not been able to do one thing with them as of yet due to how they import. I did 'get media' my camera Bloggie to see if it worked and he met as a video and audio only, so I do not know why the other does not.

    loriflori

    Thanks for the replies.

Just to start my day and am very happy that you found your own answer by going in a different format for your camera.

You recorded video compression AVCHD (MPEG4 AVC/h.264) equipped with a .avi cape. That AVCHD.avi is not compatible

with Premiere Elements. Many previous reports on this situation.

There is opportunity for you to make an AVCHD.mp4, instead of AVCHD.avi, in the camera settings? It should work with your MPEG4.mp4.

When you go to read this MPEG4.mp4 (with the logo instead of the first frame of the video), you get a read full video and

audio. If so, what is the current defined for the file is opened with. Change that can change the thumbnail representation of the hard drive. But let's see if

There is a set of AVCHD.mp4 for recording of the camera.

    Looking forward to your results.

    Thank you.

When playing a DVD on the computer, I get good Sound & picture on ajoining tv, I get a good quality image but no sound
    Concerning
    Darryl

    Sorry for this smithassoc

    Try this:
Click Start, go to control panel and click on switch to Classic view at the top left if necessary, and then click sounds and Audio devices. You will then be presented with the options sound and Audio from your computer, click the Audio tab and select HD Audio (this can be named differently depending on the type of video card you are using) as default device and click ok.
I guess maybe I should have asked, what video card are you using? As long as your video card supports audio HDMI then change the default audio device should solve the problem. If the video card is not taken support HDMI audio, then you need to connect the sound card to TV via one of the audio, the sound card options.
  • Problems with audio/video streaming with USB devices on zero clients

    Hello:
We are using view 6.1.1 in our environment and problems getting audio/video streaming to work well with the USB headsets, with zero customers.  Helmets are Jabra Link 360 and customers zero Samsung NC241.  Helmets are used as well for the phones to Jabber and also as audio device by default.   We started with the audio driver Teradici and everything seemed to work well, except that users could not answer calls on the headset itself with the button on the headset.  They were able to answer the calls of Windows though and the part worked fine.  In order to get the physical button to work, we had to first fill the USB receiver they use on the zero clients so that Windows will see as the device Jabra 360 and not the audio device Teradici.  Then we had the EHCI USB mode on them as well, and after that he started to work very well.  However, the helmets also serve as the audio device main as well as the communication (phone) device, with audio streaming continuously throughout the day.  With the current configuration, audio streaming will cut in and out during the day, and audio/video is not always to stay in either phase.

I also applied the registry in this KB hack, VMware KB: improvement in audio quality when you use speakers or USB headsets with a desktop VMware view Horizon 5.2 , which helped clear up Crackle that we originally with the part phone headsets.  But there is still the issue of streaming audio.

I wonder if the effectiveness of the bridging USB is not as effective and also is there a way to make this work better?  I read that the use of the pilot Teradici is supposed to help with audio/video problems, but do not know how that can be applied to USB devices as we use.  I've been reading upward on Teradici audio/video settings, but do not know where to go from there.  I was hoping that there are some best practices to use USB headsets with a view, but so far I'm not finding anything useful.

For any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

We were finally getting help by the people of Cisco after validation in the here and even open a support ticket with VMware, which was open for more than a month without will.  Where others try to implement similar, here are our findings:

    • Zero clients combine traffic USB and PCoIP.  It is not good when there is a lot of audio/video/USB traffic, especially the USB headsets that also carry audio softphone.  In our case, the USB traffic was so dense that it was causing audio and video become troubled and freeze and eventually cause the pcoip_server service to break in the virtual machine itself and cause the client disconnect.  The fix?  Don't use customers zero with USB phones software, they are not just designed for this type of solution.
    • Thin clients are much better designed for USB softphones.  In our case, we used the Cisco VXME client, which is the method of support for the use of Windows thin clients with the client of the Horizon.  There is integration between the two products that isolates the VOIP traffic out of the virtual machine and keeps it local on the client itself.  Regular audio and video traffic still go through the virtual machine using Teradici or VMware RTAV driver.

Hope this helps others who may run this question.  One thing we did not try was a wired headset using the AV sockets on the zero client and Teradici audio driver.  This can work, but our needs here were the headphones must be bluetooth, so we were forced to stick with USB.

  • "For Audio/video on the Internet" does not open

    Hi all

As the title suggests when I click on "for Audio/video on the Internet" nothing happens.  It seems that the icon has also changed.  I tried to look around this problem without success.  I would appreciate any assistance.

Plaase excuse my ignorance, but it is "for Audio/video on the Internet", a program or command in a browser (maybe an add-on)?  What is doing?  Have you checked that the http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-vista/Default.aspx Vista Compatibility Center to ensure that the program / module is compatible with Vista and/or Internet Explorer? If so, please provide the web site of the program (link) so we can search more far - I couldn't find using Bing (which is unusual).  The fact that it has an icon indicates it is a program.

What was the program installed and when its last function properly (and have the correct icon)?  Do you know when this problem started?  Try a system restore to a point in time BEFORE the problem started.  Here is the procedure: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-system-restore/.  Don't forget to check the box to show more than 5 days of restore points.  If the first attempt fails, then try an earlier point or two.  NOTE: You will need to re - install any software and updates that you have installed between now and the restore point, but you can use Windows Update for updates.

Right-click on the icon and click Properties.  On the general tab, it's a file with a path - what is this parth?  Go to this path in Windows Explorer and check to see if it exists and if it contains all of the files/programs. If it is there, so we know at least that the program is on the system even if the icon does not work.  Go to the executable main real within the program and create a new shortcut icon and move whenever the icon currently exists and see if this new icon works and it solved the problem.  If this is not the case, try to do a right-click on the icon and click on run as administrator to see if you have a better chance.

If she isn't here or the procedures above will not work (and it is a program or an add-on), then I suggest you uninstall with Revo http://www.snapfiles.com/reviews/revo-uninstaller/revouninstaller.html and then restart and try reinstalling it.  He may have developed some corrupted files (espcially if the icon has changed) and this may clear up the problem.

If I'm away from base here, please tell me.  I've never heard of this product before and as I said, I don't find it with Bing, and it is very rare that the programs available.  Please explain what it is and more to hold and, if possible, provide the link of web site (I can download it me to test it and see if I have also the problem - if I have Vista Business, which does not come with Media Center and I suspect that it is associated with, if it's a program).

I hope this helps and please get back to us with more information so that we can help you better.

    Good luck!

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&LC=en&DLC=en&docName=c01884922

Check if the speakers are working correctly in Device Manager.

To do this, follow these steps:

    a. on the desktop, press the Windows key + R and type devmgmt.msc and press enter to open the Device Manager.

    b. develop sound video and game controllers and right click on the driver.

    c. select Properties , and then check to see if the device works properly under Device Status.

Is there a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark inside, then it indicates that there are some problems with it.

  • How can I get multi channel audio via the HDMI port on an early 2015 MacBook Pro?

I try to get the 7.1 audio channels to flow from my MacBook Pro to a cinema set up. The display works fine now I plug the HDMI in however the sound still Mac speakers. I checked the settings and no HDMI output is available. An airtime option is available, but that returns only two channels as a maximum to the receiver. When I go to the configuration of the source on the receiver it receives video at 1080 p 60herts however it is specifically stated No Audio from the Source.

Also, I have connected my iPhone 6 s more using an Apple through the same HDMI cable adapter and it works perfectly. We also use HDMI with our PS4 occasionally and it works perfectly, even with the 3D.

Thus, the MacBook Pro is early 2015 with an i5, the receiver is a Harmon Kardon AVR 2700 (we run 7.1 channels of this) and we are connecting via the HDMI port through a 50 ft HDMI before. The receiver sends the audio to a projector with 1080 p 60 hertz if it changes anything...

Also if it helps the receiver supports dts - hd master audio decoding, Dolby True HD/Digital Plus decoding, HDMI 1.4 (HDMI is compatible 2.0), as well as multi-channel input and PCM and linear PCM.

    I use a "Behringer UCA202' audio device I bought on amazon.com for only $29.

It works very well for the audio 5.1 or 7.2. Works connect optical toslink. Just plug it into a usb port on your Mac and a cable optical toslink to your AV receiver.

    Looking for help.

You are this posting in the wrong forum, this is a forum of the laptop and is a desktop system.

Yes, you can get a video card, install and use it.  However, you sure is that the video works is not, or is it possible that the video didn't come out because you have a larger problem as the system's not initialization and display at all, because of a sort of failure such as food or the card mother?

If you have a spare PSU, you can try exchanging it instead of the original.  If you have a spare video card, even a few old (especially some former) PCI worthless, that you can install to see if you get any screen output.  Note that you need to maybe use the CMOS clear jumper or remove the battery for 10 minutes, while the power supply is disconnected after adding a video card, or by deleting and trying to use the video again.

I don't know if the specifications of the two Councils are quite similar, you should look at the datasheet for your system and compare that against what ebay sellers asking them is capable of.   Generally if you have a processor socket 775 lines they list and your using the same chipset, you should be able to simply plug in the parts and windows must be able to start pretty far to plug-and-play all the minor differences.  This is the situation in which I expected, you can buy the replacement cards model you mentioned and it works perfectly except possibly having to install a driver or two, but I can't be sure without detailed specifications.  They are very close to the info, I have found, might even be just a 2nd revision of the same Council of PCChips where everything what they changed was a clock IC generator or something similar that would not do your use in any way, except that to be sure, you have the good bios when looking on the HP site for the models with this Council in there instead of the bios for your system model #. If they take even a different bios which they cannot.

Usually not speaking, there s no problem to install other display drivers, but it happens on your own risk because the drivers are not pre-tested by Toshiba.

Intel drivers, you can install through the Device Manager > update drivers if you click on the graphics card. Then, choose the Advanced installation and choose the directory of the driver.
