Unable to launch forms of responsibility for the system administrator

Hello Experts,

I installed EBS R12 and we tested for a few weeks. Today the forms would not pop up once I applied a few patches required 16 R12 ALS after upgrade (xla5584908.drv) as by "mandatory patches before running the hot Patch ALS (Doc ID 1460065.1) '
Applied patches have been:
1 p10649546_R12. XLA. B_R12_LINUX.zip
2 p13790553_R12. XLA. B_R12_GENERIC.zip

16 p8980413_R12. CJP. B_R12_GENERIC.zip

After the application of these patch 12650984 necessary that I run concurrent demand "Import Application accounting definitions; I can log on to the home page, but when I click on security user define the shape with the responsibility of the system administrator, the form does not open, I get nothing but a blank form with the Oracle e-businesssuite logo and no error message.
.
I have cleared the cache for Apache with
"perl ojspCompile.pl - compile - hunting Pei 2" and even bounced the server without success the launch of the form.

What could keep launching or opening forms?

Thank you
Mathias

Hussein and Rajiv, thanks

We have solved the in following the steps and the docs you suggested and especially

1 remove the Java Cache

Control Panel > Java > general tab > settings > delete files

2 delete the browser Cache

3 restart the browser and in particular IE just like Google Chrome & Maxthon gave an error: FRM:92120: registry file missing and cmdlet-oracle/apps/fnd/formsClient/FormsLauncher"as discussed in thread

  • How to reset the password for the system administrator for Time Capsule?

I need to do a system restore to 2008 MacBook my wife of my 2014 Time Capsule, and I'm stuck at the system administrator password prompt. It does not accept the password to base such as revealed by the Airport utility station > base station > show passwords on my MBP, which is able to save and enter Time Machine, even if the TC is configured to use individual accounts rather than a single disk password. I'm nervous about any base station reset option in case I spoil my backup. How can I me?

Although TC is configured to use individual accounts rather than a single disk password

You must use the right of the user and the password in this case. NOT the password from the drive.

I'm nervous about any base station reset option in case I spoil my backup. How can I me?

Reset complete... It will not damage the backups somehow... It simply returns to the default values.

Let me recommend to you if you want to continue using the TC in this way... (useless IMHO). Please do an export of the configuration before factory reset you.

With the help of user and passwords in the TC is near useless. It only affects the side of the router...

If you need more security using encrypted backups... but the reality is... the security more you add less useful the backup is likely to be. As you have now discovered... When you need it... you need as clear and clear as possible.

  • Assign responsibilities but limit the responsibility of the system administrator

    Hello

I've been scratching my head for several weeks on this one. I have to be able to allow users (super users) the ability to assign responsibilities. In general it is using the "User Define" make or via user OAF page management. My problem is, I have to be able to prevent users to assign themselves or others, the responsibility of 'system administrator '.

Can someone suggest an easy way to get this functionality?

    Thanks in advance

I think that this can be achieved by using forms of customization.

OK, I re-read your question. It's actually expected behavior. The user must manually send the email.

If you want it to be a silent process, then you must either install a script on the local computer of the user who will do this, or use any email but something as a service web to which you directly submit the form data.

  • Windows 8.1 - permissions of files - do not have access to the files since the abolishment of all permissions except for the system and my own useraccount.

I had to put in my computer to the repairshop, so I changed the filepermissions on a large foldertree to all permissions for my own useraccount and all permissions for the SYSTEM account, but deliberately deleted the permissions on this folder to 'Administrator', since the repairshop started getting their own account and I had to make that account a member of the Administrators group.

Now I'm stuck with a bunch of folders and files (strangely, this didn't happen to * all * files under the folder in question) that I can't read or delete, when logged in as the useraccount with all permissions on the files. I've tried everything, and while I had to click on a dialog box explore asking me to provide administrator access to subfolders in the folder in question, some folders becomes fully accessible (possibly), but some button blown up a "Try again" in explore a dialog box - which has sometimes worked but for some records * didn't * work to resume the TP to my own files.

I want to know how I can find the full access to these files.

Talk about the size of a cargojet bug...

If your own username is a member of the Administrators group, then all you have applied to this group is for you also.

I would like to start by trying to change only the owner of the files to yourself.  Apply and when finished, close all.  Then go back and change only the permissions that should be easier now that you own on everything.
