Updated earlier - stuck download (OSX)

I have old 30000 + jpg-pictures in my library of Photos that I've "consolidated" in my library, but they will not be downloaded to my library to iCloud.

I have tried rebooting my iMac and stop/start the Photos app with no luck.

I filtered the photos using the condition "impossible to download on iCloud library", and the number of photos is constant.

How I can identify the problem, see log for iCloud photo library Photos of synchronization files or retry sync for iCloud photo library?

(I have iCloud 1000GO and expense account less than 200 GB at the moment)

Thank you

Tor Anders Johansen

Tor anders, subjects are there in your library of Photos that aren't JPEGs?  Videos, audio files, TIFF files with profiles of unusual colors, pictures created in a graphics program?  When you migraated an open library or iPhoto Library of photos, you can have included Articles, which can not download on iCloud photo library.

Is your library of Photos on the disk with a compatible file system - Mac OS extended (journaled)?  And the locally mounted drive and not a network volume?

Your upload my seem to be blocked for several hours without any visible progress, if Photos like convert videos to a format compatible or double detections of background processing.

To check if all the processes are running to launch the application Console for Applications > utilities.  Type 'Photo' in the search field:

You can see messages from cloudphotosd or photomodel making detecting duplicates or video conversion.

as long as cloud processes are active keep running, unmolested.

Download of my library to icloud took more than a full week for just 40000 photos and videos.

Automatic updates is stuck and includes most of the computing resources, does not download updates (windows xp).

Have automatic updates set in place to be notified, but not to download or install before you have manually committed.  Launched the download but then icon taskbar disappeared and cannot cancel downloads when the computer started to overheat.  Restarted.

    Thanks for the reply.

I agree that it is not dust on the fan - read my response above.

As I said above, I have concluded that the solution to the problem of automatic updates are unruly must all just use to be notified when updates are available, but then go on the site of Microsoft Updates and make the download / installation of the updates from there.  Doing it this way is much less likely to cause problems and offer better control of the user.  Once Microsoft Updates ends the taskbar icon disappears until the next time updates are available.

Update Windows stuck in a loop. Keeps trying to download page 3 of 3, but never does, then restarts and is trying to download. Can't stop the loop to try something else.

The operating system is Windows Vista.

I found this as a solution and to share it here, I still have questions, but thinking might help someone.

Windows Vista and 7 update Reboot Loop Fix

Symptom: You have a update that is causing Windows Vista or Windows 7, stuck in an infinite loop. The problem usually manifests as a "step 3 of 3:0 % complete...". "followed by a restart which starts at the exact same message, not allowing you to get on your account of connection or a desktop at all. It's a pain, and he doesn't stop, even in Mode without failure or advanced trying last good known Configuration in the start menu.

Here is the short version for people who know how to get to tools to do this and if run System Restore from the installation DVD does not work: DELETE files

    \Windows\WinSxS\cleanup.XML AND (as applicable)

\Windows\WinSxS\pending.XML and the infinite loop update will be set.

There are two ways to get the files, you need to delete. The easiest is to start your installation of Windows and the button 'Install now' DVD, click on the link located at the bottom left that says 'Repair your computer' open a command prompt and type:

    del C:\Windows\WinSxS\cleanup.xml

    del C:\Windows\WinSxS\pending.xml

The other way is to download a live Linux distribution such as the System of Tritech Service (which, unlike Vista or 7 DVD, can be booted from a USB flash drive for computers with no CD/DVD drive such as netbooks), open a command prompt, mount the file system and deleting the files. Assuming that your Windows installation is the first partition on the first hard disk, the following commands in rxvt or a console in the Tritech Service system should work:

    Mount.NTFS - 3 g/dev/sda1/mnt/sda1

    RM /mnt/sda1/Windows/*/cleanup.xml /mnt/sda1/Windows/*/pending.xml

    umount/mnt/sda1

    discount to zero f

Anyway you do it, this solution will stop the engine update loop reboot and let you return to your computer. You may need to make some corrections, additional or manual updates if you have problems, but unless your login screen and/or the Office should be accessible! Is a very annoying problem and I noticed that Google is looking for things like "stage of vista 3 3 restart" usually only provides information about how to run the system on a Vista DVD restore. Unfortunately, if there is a problem with an update, sometimes the system restore does not work and fail with obscure errors, so this info is vital.

For this, I tried anti-spyware, last week I installed and ran AdAware from lavasoft. It found nothing except two small cookies. A few weeks earlier, I had done the same thing using windows Defender. Also nothing. Along with a check disk hard I did not find much either. What end of the lifecycle for this computer, now about 3 years? He was one of the first available vista computers. • iTunes Store stuck download

I recently bought an iPad mini 4.  In the iTunes Store began downloading the songs and then stopped these songs (an album) are no longer available in the store.  I can't remove the stuck downloads.  IPad power off (by pressing home and the button simultaneously) does not work.  Any ideas?

    Hi eileenfromlansing,

Thank you for joining the communities Support from Apple! After reading your post, I see that you have some songs that got stuck download inside of the app Store in iTunes for your iPad. I know it's nice to keep this clear list downloads, so I'm happy to offer assistance.

Take a look at this article to see what to do if a purchase iTunes Store stops unexpectedly download:

When an iTunes Store purchase ceases unexpectedly download - Apple Support

The steps described in the article are more orientated the resumption of downloads, rather than delete them, so if you get no took them and completely downloaded on the iPad, you can certainly remove it from the application of music once they are made download. Otherwise, if they are still stuck, you can try to slide your finger to the left on each of them and the 'DELETE' option should appear.

If you find that the steps outlined in the article do not solve your problem, I recommend that you sign out of your Apple ID in settings > iTunes, App Store, restart your device, then reconnect to check the iTunes Store app to see if they are still there.

    Have a great day!

    What specific update?

What exactly happens when you try?

Since the update to El capitan OSX 10.11.4 on my Macbook Pro (2012) I can not connect to the app store - ideas? Im not geek so please be gentle!

Try restarting mode without failure. To restart in safe mode, restart the computer and press on and hold down the SHIFT key until the Apple icon appears. The computer starts more slowly than usual because the disk utility checks the drive. After getting on the desktop launch the App store and try to connect. Successful or not, once you're done, restart normally to exit safe mode.

  • HP 250 G4: update Bios stuck (HP Support Assistant)

    Hello

I was updating some drivers through HP Support Assistant, and BIOS update got stuck as shown on the picture below. I was hoping that someone will be able to direct me what to do next. I'm afraid the computer restart or stop the installation.

If I stop and install an update of the Bios from another somewhre, that will maybe bad installation?

    Thanks in advance,

    Miloš

    Hello

    You are welcome

The flash would have occurred at the start, so that this didn't happen, your existing bios revision will not have been affected.

My personal opinion would be not updated the bios unless the update fixes a problem that you are experiencing or adds additional functionality you need - if the machine is running Ok, there really is no need to update.

Note:  I see in your screenshot that your current bios revision is F.1A - there are 2 dream later listed for your laptop.  The HP Bios updates are cumulative, so if you don't want to update, the latest version will contain all the corrections/improvements offered by previous versions - the last enumerated revision is here.

    Hi Henrik

As far as I know your unit is fairly new and believe me you don t need updates when the operating system is running stable. If you have any specific problems you can try solve the problem installing some updates.

Until that unit works well let him. The only thing you should do is update of Windows, but it is with SP2 in any case set to automatic.

    Good luck!
