Unable to locate the UART.lvlib: Configuration.ctl of Visa

Hi guys,.

I run a problem after reinstalling labview 2014. When I open the existing project. He started looking for the control file. The file name is UART.lvlib: Configuration.ctl of Visa

Then I click cancle and the errors appear on the front and the execution arrow was broken.

After that I clicked on show errors, he send me to the location of the SMC Visa Configuation

Then I double click on the SMC file it appear the block diagram of the smc file and the visa has been disable in the image below

Please help me understand the problem.

Hi Tao,

These are screws of a library of instrument pilot, located (or: grouped / 'collected') in a lvlib. You must find this / these lvlib (s) to a backup of your project data.

(You know like SVN or GIT tools are often used to keep the (any) of the history of your source code!)

On your question to the last image: right-click the typedef would cluster and select "disconnect typedef.

It's quick & dirty, long term you must keep all the code in the backups or review source repositories!

    Hello

    I imagine that the two devices we're talking about are firewalls Cisco? I mean the VPN devices.

    Firewalls Cisco do not allow ICMP behind an interface to another interface on the same device. The only exception is when traffic is coming through VPN and enter a configuration command specific to the device that you're trying to ICMP behind a VPN connection.

    So if 1 computer needs ICMP inside 2 then the firewall with 2 inside interface must be configured with the command

    access to the administration

    Same configuration is required on the other firewall if 2 computer needs ICMP inside 1

    It can also be NAT associated configurations that may require changes, but it depends on the level of your firewall software which we don't know.

    Have you Spy Sweeper and uninstalled the software. It seems that other software can also use this driver.

    You can delete the entry start and the error using Autoruns.

    To identify what loads when you start using Autoruns (freeware from Microsoft).
    http://www.Microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/ProcessesAndThreads/Autoruns.mspx

    With Autoruns, you can deselect an item which disables startup, or you can click with the right button on an item, then remove it. If you clear the check box that you can check back for re - activate the element. It is an approach much safer than editing the registry and better than using msconfig.

    Another useful feature of the program is that you can click with the right button on an item and select search online to get information about the selected item.

  • I'm unable to locate the WORKSTATION. Where should I look?

    I'm unable to locate the WORKSTATION.  When I had windows 98 that was on my desktop but on my new computer, it is not and I don't know how to locate it.  I'm not computer savvy, so I would appreciate if possible very simple instructions.  Thank you kindly.

    In Vista, 'My Computer' is called 'computer '.  'My computer' no longer exists except as a junction file for backwards compatibility--a folder you will never need access to and shouldn't try again. Click Start (the ORB round to the left of the toolbar at the bottom) and look at the buttons on the right next to the screen.  We'll tell the computer.  Click on that no matter what you are in Windows Explorer at a very high level.  You can also click on your user name to go directly to your user profile, or you can click on Documents to go to your user documents.  You can check all the links on avialble at your leisure.

    If computer (or other default Windows desktop icons are missing, here is an article on how to recover: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/restore-missing-desktop-icons-in-windows-vista/.)

    I hope this helps.

  • FRm-40741: unable to locate the plug on block 11

    Hi all

    I use this custom property defined when press the button Search "FRm-40741: unable to locate the plug on block 11" error getting.

    If: XXEAM_SHUTDOWN_DETAILS. WF_STATUS = "Not sent yet!" then
    Set_Custom_Property('XXEAM_SHUTDOWN_DETAILS.) WORK_ORDER_NO',: SYSTEM. TRIGGER_RECORD, "ENABLED", TRUE);
    Set_Custom_Property('XXEAM_SHUTDOWN_DETAILS.) ESTIMATED_START_DATE',: SYSTEM. TRIGGER_RECORD, "ENABLED", TRUE);
    end if;

    Please give me any other property for record wise work instead of Set_Custom_Property.

    Kind regards
    Maha

    Finally, I had a few minutes to play with my sample form and found out that Andreas is correct when he said:

    SET_CUSTOM_PROPERTY does not have the number of the logical record as a parameter, but 'the physical line number' in the layout.

    In my example of form, as I scrolled items folders "Enabled" has not changed with the records.

    *@Maha,* my apologies. In order to apply the desired effect, you will have to imitate the enabled property for each record by using a combination of the Set_Item_Instance_Property() WATERWAY integrated, INSERT_ALLOWED, UPDATE_ALLOWED and VISUAL_ATTRIBUTE (optional) properties. Because you change many properties, I so wrap it in a procedure called ENABLE_ITEM and past the point, the file number and activate settings. For example:

    /* This procedure assumes you have a VISUAL_ATTRIBUTE                 */
    /* created called 'ENABLED' and 'DISABLED'. In my example, */
    /* I created the DISABLED visual attribute with following properties: */
    /*  Foreground Color = DarkGray                                       */
    /*  Background Color = gray12                                         */
    /* The ENABLED visual attribute does not specify any properties so it */
    /* sets the above properties back to */
    PROCEDURE enable_item (inItem VARCHAR2, inRecord NUMBER, inEnabled BOOLEAN )IS
         paramCount     NUMBER := 0;
    BEGIN
         IF ( inEnabled ) THEN
              Set_Item_Instance_Property(inItem, inRecord, INSERT_ALLOWED, PROPERTY_TRUE);
              Set_Item_Instance_Property(inItem, inRecord, UPDATE_ALLOWED, PROPERTY_TRUE);
              Set_Item_Instance_Property(inItem, inRecord, NAVIGABLE, PROPERTY_TRUE);
              Set_Item_Instance_Property(inItem, inRecord, VISUAL_ATTRIBUTE, 'ENABLED');
         ELSE
               Set_Item_Instance_Property(inItem, inRecord, INSERT_ALLOWED, PROPERTY_FALSE);
              Set_Item_Instance_Property(inItem, inRecord, UPDATE_ALLOWED, PROPERTY_FALSE);
              Set_Item_Instance_Property(inItem, inRecord, NAVIGABLE, PROPERTY_FALSE);
              Set_Item_Instance_Property(inItem, inRecord, VISUAL_ATTRIBUTE, 'DISABLED');
      END IF;
    END enable_item;

    You then call the ENABLE_ITEM procedure in your code, passing the name, registration number and activate (true or false) disable your element. For example:

    If :XXEAM_SHUTDOWN_DETAILS.WF_STATUS = 'Not Submited Yet!' then
       enable_item('XXEAM_SHUTDOWN_DETAILS.WORK_ORDER_NO', :SYSTEM.TRIGGER_RECORD, TRUE);
       enable_item('XXEAM_SHUTDOWN_DETAILS.ESTIMATED_START_DATE',:SYSTEM.TRIGGER_RECORD, TRUE);
    end if;

    Options François and Steve mentioned are also good ways to do this as well.

    Sorry if I confused the issue earlier.

    For those who suggested to use SET_ITEM_PROPERTY('BLOCK_NAME.) Nom_element', ACTIVE, PROPERTY_FALSE), do not forget the cascade effect of assigning false to the ENABLED property of an element. When you ACTIVATE your story later, you must also set the properties MODIFIABLES NAVIGABLE, UPDATE_NULL, true.

  • WMP 12 is unable to locate the music library

    I have recently reinstalled windows 7 64 bit and now windows media player can't seem to load my music library.  Before you reinstall, I had no problem with wmp 12.

    I have the correct folder selected for the library, but when I say update the files he never finds files.  I'll have to use a spider player for music and there is nothing wrong with creating a library from the SAME folder. (spider has been installed after that WMP didn't work).

    WMP won't recognize music from the library, after that he was snatched from a CD. The music of the IP is stored in the same folder in the same format as the rest of the collection, but he does not take into account all the music that I na not tear.

    I reinstalled WMP and have deleted the WMP (%LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player) database, but none of those who have helped.  I also have the same problem with Microsoft zune, is having exactly the same problem.  If someone has an idea that might work I would be very happy.  Thank you.

    In WMP, click organize , and then select manage libraries - music . Add the folder there, which helps?

    If this isn't the case, you try to reset the media library. Note firstly reset the library will make you lose all play counts and ratings too. Then, follow these steps:

    -Restart the PC.
    -Click Start, type services.msc in the search field and press ENTER. In Services, locate the Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service . If its status is started , double-click the service, and then click stop .
    -Click Start, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft in the search field and press ENTER. This folder opens in Windows Explorer.
    -In this folder, rename the folder Media Player as Old Media Player . If you do not see the folder, then it is probably hidden. Set Explorer to view the hidden files and folders and show protected system files.
    -Launch WMP, your library will have been reset and will be rebuilt. Check if the problem persists. Tim Baets
