Unable to print "disk error" Photoshop CS5 MacBook Pro 10.6.4

Well, I used to be able to print from photoshop, and now I can't, any time I send anything to print it just says "img123" could not print because of a disk error. No other information is available, completely upset with available Adobe support, appears as a maze guard returning me at the beginning, no way to talk to a person on weekends and no way to simply email requesting assistance... can't find anything in the online help or forums...

Help, please!

-Katie

The disk error must come from the printer driver or the OS.

In previous decisions, the problem has been a file missing that the required printer driver or a permissions problem.

  • No printer available for the new Macbook Pro

I got a new Macbook Pro 13 inch OS X El Capitan.  I used my Time Machine backup of my previous Macbook pro to get running.

Everything works except printer / scan options.  When I go to system preferences / printers it says "there is no printer available" even when I click on the

+ symbol.  The folder library/printer has the printer options.  I tried the recovery of backup options, but still no printer.  Ideas?

    Hello..

    "no printer is available."

Visit the website for your printer manufacturing and research of drivers for v10.11 El Capitan compatibility you can download then install.

BTW, your new Mac may have been sitting in inventory for a short time, that is why it is running v10.11.3.

Download and install the v10.11.4 update on the App Store and then download and install the drivers for your printer.

You can access the App Store by clicking on your high Apple  left of your screen, then click on App Store. When the App Store opens, select updates from the top of the menu in the window of the App Store.

Your Mac may restart several times during the update process. That's ok.

  • 10.11.4 OS update printer drivers deleted on my MacBook Pro

After the execution of the last update on my MacBook Pro (13-inch, late 2011, 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB of RAM), I can no longer print or scan documents. All my printers are missing from system preferences. I downloaded and reinstall the drivers Support from Apple. No luck... still no luck.

    Help!

What is to happen, it's only when add you the printer in system preferences. Ether, you should get the drivers to use or if necessary a pop arrives, asking you to download it. Are you able to add printers?  https://support.Apple.com/kb/PH21719?locale=EN_US & viewlocale = en_US since I do not know which printers you are trying to use it's as far as I can tell.

Is that correct, or can we use a 13 ". I don't mean to the retina display. Any help would be appreciated (Dummies version please). Thank you.

  • Cannot use printer with my Photoshop CS5.  Error message.

I have a problem that I have never before.  When click on file > print, I get this error message: "there was an error in the opening of your printer. Print functions will be unavailable until you have selected a printer and reopened all documents. »

It happened all of a sudden.  I had been printing without problem a few minutes before.  I have nothing unusual that I have caused this error message.  I use a Mac Pro using OS 10.9.5.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Robert, have you tried pressing command-option-shift on a restart of Photoshop.  It worked for me.  If it works for you let "station_zero" know that we are all angered by his lack of knowledge!

  • "Could not print because of a disk error" Photoshop CS 5.5

    System Specs:

    MacPro3, 1

    2 x 2.8 GHz Quad - Core Intel Xeon

    OS 10.6.8

    18 GB OF RAM

    NVIDIA GeForce 8800GT graphics card

So I just bought and installed my first copy of a Suite of Adobe, and now I can't print. Back story: I had CS4 on my machine from my last job and it printed fine. When I lost my job, I went the way legitimate and installed the demo for SC 6 until I could buy my own copy. CS 6 print very well. I found a version on eBay CS 5.5 and was looking forward to install. Yes, it's a legitimate full version with original disc and packaging; the seller is gone until they present the liscence transferred to me. I used the 'AdobeCreativeSuiteCleanerTool' to delete all previous versions before you do a clean install of CS 5.5. The rest of the suite seems to work normally except print.

I looked on the forums and tried several of their suggestions, nothing helps:

    (1) I tried to change the "manipulation of color" in the box printing options.

    (2) I am tired by running in 32-bit mode.

    (3) I tried setting permissions.

    (4) I trashed my preferences and tried command-Option-Shift thing

    (5) I've updated the software Adobe (no update for Photoshop)

    (6) I reinstalled my printer drivers.

I printed out just last night the SC6 and now no chance today.

    Help appreciated,

    John

No I never tried to run in 32-bit mode under CS6. I just see someone in a thread that he was able to solve their problem, so I tired it.

Yes, I can print from other applications. The solution I have at the moment is to save it as a PDF and then print from an excerpt. Not really ideal.

Man, I hate technology. I rebooted several times last night and no luck. I try today and everything works. Go figure.

  • 'Labels' print brand error Postscript - CS5 but not CS4 (or CS3)

    Hi all

My apologies if this has been discussed or resolved, but I couldn't find anything on the subject...

I had tons of Postscript, printing of CS5 errors since I installed it a couple of weeks. Well, I just reduced the problem to the "Labels" in the print section option marked in the output area of the print dialog box.

I use labels all the time, especially for the final impressions-, so I don't know the name of the file, so I really need this option, but can't find a way to solve the problem. I guess a police wobbly is the culprit, but see no way to change the font of "Labels".

FYI, it NEVER caused a problem in CS4, CS3 or CS2.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you!

Oops. I found the problem. This is a bug in the PostScript when printing labels.

Long file names trigger. Looks like a dozen characters are fine. More than that could trigger a limitcheck. The only solution I see would be to make the shorter file name. Sorry about that.

The strange thing is that on many interpreters of PS, it simply prevents the print file name, but the rest of the page prints fine.

I working on a fix, but cannot say when the fix will happen to you.

  • I use a printer C310A since Photoshop CS5.5 to 4 by 6 printsThe printer switches to 4 by 6

How can I get the printer C310A 4 by 6 by default of the status bar.  I used the Photosmart D5460 in the past and he remembered to use paper of 4 by 6 after the first printing, print the changes in format C310A letter on the second

None of the standard fixes worked for me.  Finally, I uninstalled and re installed and my problem was history!

  • Can someone tell me what software to use to print and scan from my MacBook pro

I have Mac OSX Mountain Lion and I am trying to print and scan my 5510 Photosmartt wireless. I tried to use the full suite of HP and Apple software for the printer. The HP software does not find my printer on my network only when it is connected through USB. I used the option "wireless via USB" when I installed the software, but the process never went through a process of Wi - Fi as soon as I unplugged the USB cable it was impossible to find the printer. I also tried to add a printer manually using the host name of Bonjour that works but loses connectivity on occasions, but I am then unable to use the extras like the Apps that come with the HP software.

I have an iPad which I can connect using HP Printer Control app but I was under the impression with the last update Apple what airprint totheirs device should work without the need for an application.

I read all the advice of experts in many forums like this one and have tried everything, but I was unable to connect to my network without problem. I can scan, eprint printers EWS etc so I must be connected to the router and the Internet, so I really don't understand why I'm having these annoying problem. I know that I am not alone so concerned manufacturers should get it sorted and soon.

I should also mention that I have a laptop win7 I have installed on the same netwrk and had printing and scanning works very quickly without any problem of connection at all.

I'll be very happy to receive a solution from an expert very soon.

Your suggestion is exactly how I installed the printer before but still had problems of connectivity with my MacBook. However I seem to have found the solution and it's, once the printer and MacBook on the same network I put then a static IP by allowing the software page to recommend a static address. Previously, I had chosen the static address manually by following the instructions provided.

The difference now is that when I look at my page of router software the printer is more listed under DHCP DEVICE INFO, but I am still able to find the printers web page by inserting its ip address into Safari, as well as the EWS page

This seems really healed my problems. Thanks for all your help.
