'Labels' print brand error Postscript - CS5 but not CS4 (or CS3)

Hi all

My apologies if this has been discussed or resolved, but I couldn't find anything on the subject...

I had tons of Postscript, printing of CS5 errors since I installed it a couple of weeks. Well, I just reduced the problem to the "Labels" in the print section option marked in the output area of the print dialog box.

I use labels all the time, especially for the final impressions-, so I don't know the name of the file, so I really need this option, but can't find a way to solve the problem. I guess a police wobbly is the culprit, but see no way to change the font of "Labels".

FYI, it NEVER caused a problem in CS4, CS3 or CS2.

Any suggestions?

Oops. I found the problem. This is a bug in the PostScript when printing labels.

Long file names trigger. Looks like a dozen characters are fine. More than that could trigger a limitcheck. The only solution I see would be to make the shorter file name. Sorry about that.

The strange thing is that on many interpreters of PS, it simply prevents the print file name, but the rest of the page prints fine.

I working on a fix, but cannot say when the fix will happen to you.

    I am Windows 7 Professional 64 bit and still have the CS5 and CS6 64 bits loaded.  I've used my tablet with stylus Graphire4 with CS6 will detect all problems.  All of a sudden it only works with the pen pressure even if the stylus pressure is off.  I'm trying to use it as a mouse and frequently use shift/click when you change a mask.  I can do it no longer.  If I run CS5 the pen works as it should but not CS6.  When I first open the CS6 with visible brush the brush palette shows a hard brush, but when I open a file it turns into sensitive pressure without measure by me.  I have reset the brushes, re-installed the driver and finally downloaded a driver more but the problem persists.  Because it works very well in CS5 but not CS6 it must be a problem to Adobe.  It's very frustrating.  I enclose a composite image showing what happens to the CS6.  The right side shows what looks like the brush palette until I open a file.  The left side shows what happens when I open a file.   Even if I do not open a file and make changes within the brush palette, it immediately turns to pen pressure.  It's very strange.

    I would of course someone can provide information that could help.

    No answers, but in the meantime, I have come into contact with Adobe.  Problem has been resolved by phone.  Resolution is to delete the preferences file reopen CS6, date at which the PS automatically creates a new preferences file.  It was she, corrected a problem... Ralph

    1. you receive the error message only when you scan directly from the Brother MFC-J615W printer?

    2. are you able to scan or print from the computer to which the printer is connected?

    If the problem occurs only when you try directly scan at the printer, then I would suggest that you contact the support of brother about the question.

  • HP8600 Server2003 shared printer will install in XP but not Win 7 profiles

    Printer is shared on a Windows Server 2003 box. The driver provided by the Web site does not work with Win 7 profiles, XP only. I found another issue even in the printer forum installation/configuration:here where a HP technician recommended to use the 990 c drivers. This solution did not work for me.

    The printer can be seen by areas of Win 7 and installed manually (only manually in sofar as to find the part and double click on the printer), but does not fill the devices section and printers automatically as it should.

    Errrmm... they are implemented this way to allow the server to manage the print queue. There is no working groups. It is on a domain.

    Often problems such as this could be solved through drivers HP Universal type but not in this case. I think we just return the printer and goes with those must have stable and drivers work.

    From the desktop, hold down the Windows key and press R.  In the run window, type services.msc and press to enter.  Scroll down to the print spooler service, right click and select Properties, then click the Stop button.  Now search for C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS, then delete the work inside this folder - you may need to click a command prompt to get the authority to open the PRINTERS folder.

    Restart the computer and you should find that the documents have been deleted.

  • HP 4500 g510n-z-printer connected to the router but not responding do not

    I got this printer (HP4500 G510n-z) for 3 years. This worked without any problem until I changed my router and installed a nas on the LAN Server.

    Now the printer is connected via WIFI to router and is perfectly installed on computers connected to the router. But it does not work. I used HP Print-Scan doctor and he finds the device, but it was not connected. I tried to connect to the printer IP of all computers, but I have not received any response (using ping, it doesn't have 75% of the package). On the router configuration page, the printer is connected to the usual IP and on connected computers the TCP - IP is configured correctly.

    I have tried everything and I managed only to reboot the router. But it did not last, each computer remains connected only until you restart the PC nex.

    I get an error of trigger of table mutation in a MERGE statement, but not for INCLUSION. I know a trigger should not be used like that, but it has been in the system for centuries. I just want to understand why this is happening for the MERGER, but not the INSERT. Maybe that's "just how Oracle works.

    INSERT INTO table VALUES (.) is a special case - it knows it will insert only one line, and the Before Insert trigger knows that it takes only for the first line, if you see a stable table.

    So the difference is not simply INSERT vs FUSION, INSERT... The value of VALUES versus INSERT or MERGE a query result.

  • MySQL error on localhost, but not remotely!

    I get an error of:

    Warning : mysql_free_result() expects parameter 1 resource, null given in / Users... line 848

    But I get only this on my dev machine. It does not show on the remote site. I took the remote DB and put it inplace of my a local just in case I had inadvertantly deleted something, but still no joy.

    I closed the recordset using:

    mysql_free_result ($rs_reg_domain);

    But had to use the following to hide the error:

    If (($rs_reg_domain) is_resource) mysql_free_result ($rs_reg_domain);

    and finally, the Recordset:

    The reason why you get an error at the local level, but not on the remote server is certainly because the remote server has the configuration of PHP display_errors setting disabled. The error still occurs, but it is not displayed. Most Web hosts disable the display of errors for security reasons.

    Looking at the code you gave here, it seems that the error is caused by using the wrong variable name for the recordset object. The recordset is $rs_domain, but you're passing $rs_reg_domain to mysql_free_result().

  • Unable to print "disk error" Photoshop CS5 MacBook Pro 10.6.4

    Well, I used to be able to print from photoshop, and now I can't, any time I send anything to print it just says "img123" could not print because of a disk error. No other information is available, completely upset with available Adobe support, appears as a maze guard returning me at the beginning, no way to talk to a person on weekends and no way to simply email requesting assistance... can't find anything in the online help or forums...

    The disk error must come from the printer driver or the OS.

    In previous decisions, the problem has been a file missing that the required printer driver or a permissions problem.

  • Printing problems with PS CC, but not CS5 or CS6

    When printing the PS CC using the print dialog box I get a shift toward the severe red in the final print. When I print the image of PS CS5 or CS6, I get correct color printing.

    I am running a MacPro with OS 10.7.5 and a cannon with its latest firmware iPF8300 printing and the printer driver. I use the correct ICC profile for the paper. In the print dialog, I select 'Photoshop manages colors. "

    I noticed a couple of things:

    1. In the 'Print Settings' where I dial in the installation of the printer, 'Color' parameters are both disabled (Colorsync and seller).
    2. In the printer driver settings (still in "setting up the printer"), the "Color" tab is grayed out, but when I click on "Settings" for this sub-group of experts, Colorsync is selected.
    3. When I printed the image of the Canon PS plug-ins, the Red cast had disappeared, but blacks were too heavy (there is no box "Black Point Compensation" because the Canon plug-in uses Adobe Color Engine for this, and it is only 32 bits and will not work).

    An overview or advice would be appreciated.

    14.0 Photoshop or CC must be added to your AppColorMatchingInfo.xml file. This is the extraordinary case file that the driver of Canon reads so that when the application handles color is selected in the print driver in main/color Mode dialog box: by default, without Color Correction. If the name of the internal file of the application is not listed in the file AppColorMatchingInfo.xml main/color colours resulting in double default profiling Mode.

    If anyone can send me the Info.plist file inside the package 14.0 Photoshop or copy - paste or screen captures the Excutable file until version lines I get this problem in my updated AppColorMatchingInfo.xml file that I posted.

  • Why: print from a user account, but not the other?

    On a computer, we have two user account: an admin mastering (Bev), the other without (BevsGuest).  Note that this is not 'the' guest account.

    We have no printing problem on behalf of Bev.  But we cannot print from the BevsGuest account.  Sorry, but I forgot the error message we get.  But we receive the error of several applications - Excel, Word, Google Maps, etc.

    The problem started a few times in a few months; He worked many years.  I can't say exactly when the problem started, or what has changed in the meantime, because: (1) I use the computer only every few months. and (2) someone else maintains the computer, for example to install Windows updates.  Not to say that this person could have; but usually it is very minimal.

    The computer is located in a private residence, not not part of a corporate network.  Is there any other computers.  The printer is wired, not wireless.

    I could try to roll back to a system restore point.  But it would be a shot in the water, and I'd rather make minimal changes.

  • XML report (with report.xsl stylesheet) print shows the font colors, but not highlight table colors

    I try to print the XML report generated by TestStand as a PDF for archive.  When the XML report in Internet Explorer, everything seems fine - sequence names are highlighted in blue-green, the neck is green, in case of failure is highlighted in red.

    However, when I print this page as a PDF (with BullZip PDF printer, or even the XPS printer), went to all the light of table layout.  The result of the object to be measured in the header is colored red or green depending on the State of pass/fail, but sequence and setting names in the form applied to the tables in the body of the report have no highlighting.

    The stylesheet modifies what is returned when the XML file is printed?

    It is the output seen in Internet Explorer

    It is the output seen as a PDF printed from the same file read in Internet Explorer.

    Hey Matt,

    It is in fact due to a default setting in Internet Explorer to not print the colors of background on Web pages. To change it, simply go to the configuration Page screen (on IE9, you click on the gear icon, then print > Page Setup) and select the option to print background images and colors. After doing this, the printed report must contain the colors you see on your screen.

    What are the brand and model of the printer?

    One of the following problems may cause this problem:

    ·         The paper trays are empty or overloaded.

    ·         The paper is curved.

    ·         The printing side, or shiny side, the paper is not loaded in the tray upside down. For photo paper, always load the rough side of the paper to the top.

    ·         The paper is too smooth for the product.

    ·         The paper can not be engaged with the feed rollers.

    ·         The width of the paper guide is adjusted too tightly against the stack of paper.

    ·         The paper tray is not completely inserted in the product.

    ·         The paper in the printer driver settings do not match the paper loaded in the paper tray.

    ·         The driving rubber rollers are dusty.

    Method 1: Reset the product

    1. Press the power button to turn the product on.
    2. With the product under voltage, unplug the power cord from the back of the product.
    3. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
    4. Wait at least 15 seconds.
    5. Plug the power cord into the wall outlet.
    6. Reconnect the power cord to the back of the product.
    7. If the product does not light by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.
    • If these steps solved the problem, it is useless to continue troubleshooting.
    • If the problem persists, continue to the next solution.

    Method 2: Check the status of the paper and then reload it

    1. Replace any paper torn, dusty, wrinkled or twisted.

    NOTE:

    Use of regular, white, unused paper in the product until solve you the problem.

    1. Make sure all the paper in the tray is the same size and type. Never charge which coexist paper types at the same time.
    2. Press the stack of paper on a flat surface to align the edges.
    3. Make sure that the stack of paper has at least 10 sheets and not more than 25 sheets of paper.

    NOTE:

    Do not load too much paper in the product.

    1. Insert the stack of paper into the product and gently push the paper guides comfortably against the paper. Make sure that the paper is fully inserted in the product.
    2. Try to print again. If the problem is not resolved, try different brands of paper and different types of paper, a guy in a loading time. Then try to print again.
    • If these steps solved the problem, it is useless to continue troubleshooting.
    • If the problem persists, continue to the next solution.

    Method 3: Adjust the paper settings in the print driver

    The paper in the printer driver settings must match what is loaded in the tray.

    NOTE:

    These changes do not change the default print settings. Return default print settings the next time the program is opened.

    1. Open the document that you were trying to print when the problem occurred.
    2. Click fileand then click print. The print dialog box opens.
    3. Click on the button that opens the Properties dialog box. Depending on the software, the button can be Properties, Options, Configure the printer, printer, or Preferences.
    4. Click on the tab which provides parameters of type and size of paper. The tab may be features or paper/quality.
    5. In the drop-down menu is sized , select the paper size that corresponds to the paper in the tray.
    6. In the drop-down list menu type , select the type of paper corresponding to the paper in the tray.
    7. Click OK, and then click OK again to print the document.
