Unable to read video files to vob format

original title: Aero

Hello Sir, I am unable to play video files with format of DVD (VOB) Please help me what to do now.

Hello sanjubamel,

1. What is the media player you use to play the VOB's on your computer?

2. What is the operating system installed on your computer?

3. what version of Media Player you have?

4. What is the error you get when you try to play the vob files?

The file format may not be supported by the Media Player you use. I suggest that you download the codecs for the vob. We also indicate the version of Media Player you are using.

Thank you

    Help!

    Hello

    • What version of Windows are you using?

    1. it is possible that you are missing the codec to play the file or it is clashing with other codec files.

    2. the link provided below lists supported by Windows Media Player file format.
It does not list the AVCHD or. MTS files supported file format directly:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/316992

    3. yet we cannot be sure at this point that the issue is due to interference with some files.

    Method 1:
Alternatively, you can perform a restore of the system to a previous point, when the issue was not present. The System Restore tool uses points of restore to return the system files and settings to an earlier point in time. You can use it to restore the operating system to a point in time where you have not experienced the problem.

Note: When you use System restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you have installed are removed.

To do this, there must be a restore point from the system in which the connection was successful.

Please refer to the below of the help links on performing a system restore.
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/what-is-system-restore
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/system-restore-frequently-asked-questions

    Method 2:
You can determine which codec was used with a specific file; read the file in the player, if possible. When the file is playing, right-click the file in the library, and then click Properties. On thefile tab, look at the Audio codec and Video codec sections.

Then you can uninstall any installed codec and install that you need to do the job file.

If you have several codec for the single file to work they can clash and cause problems.

You can check the link for assistance on the issue - below

I could be wrong, but in my research for this issue, I learned that there is no solution from Adobe to convert an F4V or a FLV. I talked to Adobe support directly and they told me to buy a 3rd party conversion program. I find absolutely stupid that the only way to embed a video in Animate using a FLV or F4V, and there is no codec to convert video in this format.

  • Micro SD XC questions - can not read video files

Please forgive me for being a noob here on this forum. I did a search and could not find any info on my problem, so I'm posting here now...

I have bad to write video files (MKV, MP4, etc.) to the external mic card SD XC that I use with my SanDisk Media Player. The first few files that I am writing to transfer SD card and play well on the media player and my PC (I use VLC). After about 10 GB or more data has been transferred to the card, copy the files, but they will not play. VLC tells me that he does not support the video format "undf".

I use a SanDisk 64 GB micro SD XC card spec'ed at 30 MB/s (in the format exFAT). I have two of these cards and they both have the same behavior. I also tried the HC cards (formatted NTFS) 128 GB at the same result. Nothing seems to work as expected. What I'm doing here wrong or missing? I faced this problem for weeks and its driving me crazy!

where did you buy in origin? packaging for fake cards look pretty true these days. You can contact sandisk support and they can help authenticate cards.

  • 17 MB video file translated in format gif 54MB

Hello. I have a H.264 video file at 12 sec 1280 x 720 I want to convert a gif. When I bring it in Photoshop, limit the size to 50% and export for the web the best I got a 45Mo file. I can't quite understand what I'm doing bad to have my image output to be 3 x the size of the original.

    Thank you.

There is nothing wrong. You just need to understand the limitations of the GIF format. Turning to 12 seconds of video HD at 30 fps inevitably translates into a large GIF, even at half the resolution. You will need to invest much more time of additional treatment such as the conversion the framerate at 12 frames per second or optimize the color palette. Yet, even in this case you can only get so much out of it...

  • Impossible to import files: error "unable to read the files.

All of a sudden I can no longer import files.  I get a message "Unable to read file" whenever I try to import, disc or iPhone.  It is not a problem of memory; I have a lot of memory on my hard drive.  Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem?  Should I reinstall LR?  If so, how do I?  Thank you!

It is almost always a problem of permission to write (despite the ambiguous message).  LR ' t for some write reason the files to the selected location.

We need to learn a little more about your system... OS to start.

I highly recommend reinstall Lightroom until everything has been eliminated.
