  It's the sequence of events that led to my problem:

  1. my laptop HP dv9000 would not turn.
  2. I sent my laptop to someone who fixed my motherboard. I removed my hard drive to ship.

  4. I then inserted and loaded windows from the recovery disks.
  5. I then received an error message indicating that NTLDR is missing.
  6. I then downloaded and ran windows repair disk.
  7. now Windows loads and starts fine, but after the initial startup I receive many messages of error such as 'rundll32.exe - Windows cannot access the specified device, file, or path. May not be the appropriate permissions for access you to them. "(about 6 of them). Also receive "Rundll-error loading C:\Windows\system32\nvsvc.dll-The specified module cpould be found" (about 3 of these with different file names). Also, I can't run programs and receive the error message "the application is not found." I have very limited access to the elements of the control panel. I can open the computer management but then receive the error message "MMC could not create the snap-in CLSID: (58221-EA27-11CF-ADCF-00AA00A80033).»

  I also tried to do a system restore by pressing F11 when starting the computer, but the computer is not responding and starts Windows.

  I would like to restore my system to factory settings, but all the posts I've read require using one of the programs or files that I do not have access to. What should I do?

  By the sound of things, you have changed ("repaired") the motherboard.
  HP recovery process would be setup for original material.

• Unable to run any programs after you run disk defrag in Windows 7

  I have a similar problem... after running the regular disk cleanup and defrag disk I can't open any program files.  I get the following messages: no such interface supported or just programs does not open.  When I go to the restoration of the system, the error message says System Restore does not start .

  I have a Best Buy webroot antivirus protection.  I ran a scan of disk and all sectors are OK.  I'm trying to do a full restore of the computer of origin because of all the installed programs and this is the only option in safe mode.  I have a Sony Vaio - Windows 7.

  Anyway is access to the rollback feature by bypassing the control panel?

  2. do you get any error code or error message?

  I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

  Method 1:

• Loading long mgmt console after installation

  I work on building a vCAC deployemt sample in our lab, then try to deploy a minimum configuration.  I downloaded the ovf SSO, then the vCAC ovf.  I then created records dns necessary and then deployed the two components.  I had deployed the windows IIS room but have deleted since then but will be re-deployed it.  After deployment of the OVFs and setting the time zone, the np and the rest of the elements on the vCAC settings tab, the services are stored.  My problem is that when I connect on https://svcaclab01/vcac using [email protected], it tries to load the Administration > tenants but just says loading with the wheel is turning at bottom.  I use windows server 2008r2 and IE8.  I expect to see the default tenant who, according to the documentation, is vsphere.local, but nothing never loads.  I tried different servers and not other browsers IE with lowering secturity browser without modifications.

  Any idea on what I can do to get the page to load?

  I've done a few things, and now it seems to work. Not sure that we do this work but,

  First of all, I realized that vrealize automation 6.2 was released, so I bluffed my 6.1 installation and went with 6.2.

  I then modified internet Explorer by going to options > Security > unchecking "enable protected mode", I've added the site to my trusted sites and the cert has also installed in the folder root of trust.

  A combination of all those things has made sure the website load and the first installation of the default tenant could be performed.

  I'm not able to get the listening port connectivity after installing Oracle 11 g 2 network on windows on vmware workstation infrastructure. Sign up with a static ip address.

  Even I've recreated the listener and the operation of the grid home listener.

  Listener.ora file is NOT necessary to start or use the Oracle listener.

  Rename, delete, or otherwise remove the listener.ora file then do as below

  lsnrctl stop

  lsnrctl service

  I'm trying to deploy an application that uses Oracle Express Edition 11 g. This is the first time I'm installation/use of Oracle, so probably I am doing it just wrong.
  Here's what I did:
  
  X 64 installed Open SUSE 12.1
  Logged as root
  Downloaded and installed Oracle Express Edition 11.2 Release 2, command: rpm - U DownloadedOracleFile.rpm
  Ran /etc/init.d/oracle-xe configure and set the port 8085 and listener 1521, also an auto-start enabled
  Hit my head against the wall for three hours trying to launch SQLPLUS and finally the ORACLE_SID = ORCL and ORACLE_HOME=/u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/xe value
  
  So now I'm stuck again because I can not log in to the Oracle instance (?).
  
  1 type sqlplus and enter the password and user root:
  ERROR:
  ORA-01034: ORACLE not available
  ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist
  Linux-x86_64 error: 2: no such file or directory
  Process ID: 0
  Session IDs: serial number 0: 0
  
  2 sqlplus virtue sysdba says ERROR: ORA-01031: insufficient privileges
  
  I've been trying to find information on this topic and oracle-xe configure should ask for some kind of password, but it never did. Reset password requires me to login as sysdba, which does not work.

  I am not familure with Oracle Express Edition so it's just a guess.

  Y at - it an oracle user associated with this facility although RPM was installed as root? Set oracle sid and oracle at home under this user (other than the root) and try to sqlplus login.

  On a corporate network, with a licensed copy of Windows, I just finished installing a load of updates that a PC has missed in the last months or years.  To restart, a window titled "Windows Genuine Advantage Notifications".  I click Next and it works fine, up to 80%, then it hangs at "running the process after installation" and never finished.  It is present each time that I reboot and reconnect.

  How can I do complete, or stop to run to the log in?

  2. Restart then open IE (only) to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com . Select CUSTOM and allow the analysis to be performed. If KB905474 is available now, deselect / uncheck and then hide it.

  NB: KB905474 may be listed in the optional software category on the left side. If an update of root certificate is listed there, also, install it to take full advantage of the integrated IE security.

  The police show up nicely the first time I run the application. Even though I call System.exit (0), then restart the application, it is up to the top with the system font. My policy is a TTF 46KO file, which is added to the res folder of my project and I develop for BB 7.0.0.

  You agree that SUCCESS, I think that you will find in the following executions that return code is something like 'Already loaded' and so you can use it in this circumstance too.
