  • Try to find a solution/Forum for task to save a copy of Acrobat 9

I have plus 3,000 PDF I need to Remove the 'extended rights' of. I searched, and the only solution I've found suggest opening one by one using 'Save a Copy' that is in me forever! Are there no other option available for this task?

Thanks in advance for all the more effective resources that you can direct me to solve this problem.

I think you will find that there is no automation for it in Acrobat, just as there is no automation to add extended rights. Sell the Adobe LiveCycle Reader Extensions to add extensions, and it could also have an option of withdrawal.

It's too late for that matter, but I would recommend considering what follows under the FINAL title:

    -signature

    -security implementation

    -extending drive

Final, because the withdrawal is not always possible or practical. Therefore, I recommend that you check systematically the files 'before' in all cases.

  • Unable to save the file in PSD - PS says that the file is over 2 GB when it's not

I have a PSD that I worked on for many months. This week I got a new computer. When I open this file on my new computer, I'm unable to save as a PSD. The size of the file, in Windows Explorer, is 600 MB. Depending on the size of the PS CC Document displayed at the bottom of the Document window, the size of the document is 288.4 M / 1.77 G. Yet, when I try to save this file on my new computer, I get this error:

Could not save it as "filename.psd" because the document is larger than 2 gigabytes.
See Help topic "backup files" for more information.

My new computer has a secondary SSD hard drive that I use as the primary scratch disk. The new computer also has more RAM and a processor more. I had copied all my files from the old computer to the new preferences, and I do not see all of the settings are different between the two computers. Can someone please provide some guidance?

    Hello

To ensure the follow-up to future readers who find this post, indeed it was a 14.2 bug fix which fell from Mindy file.

14.1.2 and older versions of Photoshop, it was possible to save a document in PSD format which would not properly push the limit of 2 GB of formats (vector data stuck with the Max compatibility). We had a report of someone who inadvertently produced 300 + GB of files (http://forums.adobe.com/message/5666971#5666971). With 14.2, now make us some additional controls while recording and to issue warning limit file size. One of these controls is to the pixel dimensions of the data (the data of superior image then 30K pixels).

Although MIndy file na not to exceed the 2 GB limit, it triggers the check of size of pixel data. There is a smart object layer that put across 6000%.

So if you are getting 2 GB limit warning and didn't in previous versions, take a look at the scale of values on smart object layers and note the layers covering the area pixel values in the Info Panel and checking vector data (pasted from Illustrator guides).

  • installation of Acrobat 9 on my new 64-bit windows system 7.

I am trying to load my copy of Acrobat 9 on my new 64-bit windows system 7. I know it is no longer supported, my serial number is xxxx - xxxx - xxxx - xxxx - 1263-9334. I know there have been some problems in the installation of this version on a 64-bit system, but I was able to do in the past and have not had a problem. I read that the 9.2 update solves this problem, but of course I can't install the update a mess I installed the program. Can you help me get my Acrobat 9 installed?

Sometimes AV applications prevent changes on the system, so it's a good idea to disable them when you install the new software (from a source reliable, of course).

Yes, you must update at least 9.2 and preferably the latest version available.

First of all, I would like to make a backup of all the files somewhere safe. Just in case something goes wrong. I would like to make a copy of the files on the computer. Format the USB. Then copy the files over. If after a format, it still has the same problem or she leaves you nothing copy on then the memory stick may be dying on you and her is to buy another.

  • I'm unable to save all the files on my pc which runs with Vista Ultimate operating system

I'm unable to save all the files in any application. The dialog box type of flickers in the background, but nothing happens.
Happens if I am recording a chart on the web using a web browser. Happens when I create a file in Excel or Word, Paint, and Serif (possibly other applications which I am not using at the moment) and then click on "Save as."

It happens if I opened a pdf file from any source (be it on my drive hard or on the web) and click on "Save as" to save another copy.

It happens when I'm using a web-based e-mail service, and if I want to add an attachment, as soon as I click on the Upload button, nothing happens.

It happens when I try to export a scanned image of my scanner, to a file.

I get no error with the exception of this shimmering when one would expect to see a dialog box.

But, it happens when I create a new file in Notepad, which is a weird exception

It started to arrive 3 days ago, and I have not loaded any new software changed the settings I can think. (with the exception of mcAfee who has downloaded an update almost everyday)

I restarted my computer several times since and searched the net to find answers, but it seems I'm the only one afflicted.

I would appreciate if someone can shed some light on this.

    Hello

If the steps described in the adobe article cannot be implemented because of the error, then you need to contact adobe for assistance because they would be able to guide better.

Also I suggest connect you to the computer as an administrator and check whether you can perform the steps completely mentioned in article from adobe.

If you need assistance regarding the office updates, look for error messages related to updates Office failed in the history of Windows update and post it back here.

    Cordially.

  • "Unable to save the data entered in the form!

Someone has found a workaround?  I know there are other viewers free (software tracker) but small business customer won't like that they have to pay thousands in extensions of the reader.  There must be a way for a PDF designed in LiveCycle ES4 v.11 and allow the user to the end save a copy (and submit by e-mail) Acrobat Reader DC.  I see a lot of threads complaining about this very simple issue but I don't see all of the solutions that use software free adobe reader.  I am aware of the PRINT to the PDF solution, but not all end users have a PDF printer on their computer.  Adobe please help.

You cannot use drive, you must use Acrobat. If your customer must obtain Acrobat and Reader-enable applications that you develop. If you do not have Acrobat, you can download and install the trial version in order to test this point.

I'm unable to save money in text format. Need to convert PDF to plain text. I can save it as a Word, but I need to save it as plain text.

If you use Acrobat 10 or 11 Pro "Recognize text" - on this file.

Maybe the document has been parsed. A scanned document contains any text, it's just a picture. Recognize the text will make the optical recognition of characters (OCR) on the document, and then you can save as text.  You will have to look to find errors in the OCR.  Sometimes, he can hardly discern the characters.

  • Unable to save a file "smaller file" pdf from illustrator 5.5

I often save in Illustrator PDF files using the PDF options available in the menu bar dropdown PDF when you save files. Usually I will record a Visual as a "smallest file size" or make use of the option of "high quality print" for other files etc.

Why can't do this on CS5.5?

Hi Scott - I found the thread following on the net. So, I looked at my time machine backups and copied the files from there, that I then pasted in my settings folder as you suggest.

    Ta da! Everything works again!

No idea how I could restore these settings from a backup?

    Thank you!

After installing 10.6.5, 6 predefined files have been removed from the settings folder. The folder hierarchy remained himself, it's just that some of the content in the "settings" have been deleted. I solved the problem by copying settings deleted a backup files.

These are the files that have been deleted:

    Press quality.joboptions

    PDFX4 2008.joboptions

    PDFX3 2002.joboptions

    PDFX1 2001.joboptions

    Print.joboptions of high quality

These files have not been removed:

    Standard.joboptions

    PDFA1b 2005 RGB.joboptions

    PDFA1b 2005 CMYK.joboptions

    Pages.joboptions oversized

Someone at Adobe Indesign community support directed me to restore these files from a backup that solved the problem.
