  Windows 7 can't save the file after I've updated yesterday. I can't save any file of all applications including Microsoft office (Word, excel, Powerpoint etc), I can't save any download from the internet to my download folder.   I found the solution to this problem, please see below:

  Try to enable iSCSI in Panel of-->--> iSCSI initiator administrative tools. If that is disabled, that is the problem (it works for me!).

  I have re - write the problem,

  I want to record the addresses of the different tabs open in my Firefox and save them in a file which can be reopened by Firefox on the same computer or on another computer with the ability to clean the browser history after leaving the computer.

  Solution: 'Session Addon Manager' of firefox.

  Solution steps:

  1. download and install an addon for firefox called "session manager".

  2. After installing this addon, go to Firefox-> session Manager-> Manager of Session-> Session Manager Options. (or tools-> Manager of Session-> Manager of Session-> Session Manager Options)

  Go to the "Advanced" tab

  Now change the default location for the recording of the session. Say you call it on your desktop.

  Now, you have "Session Manager" addon installed, the default location for saving the session file is known to you (for example, your desktop).

  3. now, go in, 'Firefox-> Manager of Session-> Manager of Session-> Save Session' and give your session a name under the option 'save the current as session. (or "tools-> Manager of Session-> Manager of Session-> Save Session")

  4 suppose that you give your session a name called "new Session". In your default configuration of the recording of the session (say your office), you will get a file named "new Session.session".

  5. now, this file is the key. It's a small file and you can just email it to yourself or to your work with you.

  6. just place this file in the same location on the other computer and repeat steps 1 and 2.

  7. now Session Manager is installed and configured on the other computer and the file has been copied on the desktop of the other computer.

  8. go in Firefox-> Manager of Session-> Manager of Session-> Load Session (or tools-> Manager of Session-> Manager of Session-> Load Session) and the recorded session will be loaded on the other computer by Firefox.

  Now, how this addon can help someone?

  1. it is extremely useful for people like me who are addicted to the large number of tabs to open both and wants to return to work the same set of tabs, be they at home, office or any other place.

  2 suppose, you surf on some personal sites that you don't want other people to know and you can't favorite these sites. You are on another computer, say to your desktop and want to clean browsing history too.

  The best option in this case is to save the session completely and the re - load on another computer.

  I personally found addon "Session Manager" better "copy URL expert."

  The only improvement I would like to see, is that Firefox itself should allow multiple tabs in saved to a file that can be opened by Firefox, just as we open a saved HTML page.

  I've recently updated (?) to Windows 7 64-bit.  I have notifications when importing photoshop files and PDF in the InDesign document, the resolution of the graphics are disabled and that the lines are restless.  Even the fonts are unreadable.  That's happened?  Is there some settings that I need to in and tweek everything back into alignment and the update?  (If those are the correct words).  When I view PDF files in windows, they are normal.  It is only when imported into InDesign that they are deformed.

  If you have problems to view the Telugu contents on Internet Explorer, you can add the language Telugu in Internet Options in language preferences as described below:

  • Press the Windows key + R.
  • Type inetcpl.cpl in the immediate window and press ENTER.
  • On the general tab, click languages under the appearance section.
  • Click on Add.
  • In the language list, select Telugu (India) .
  • Click OK.

  Check if the problem persists.

  On the other hand, if you want to display Windows fonts in Telugu, you try to install the Pack of Telugu language from the following link and check if you are able to view the Telugu fonts.

  I don't think EMOD works in IE8.0, wait for the next version of EMOD which is due in January - this will fix the problem in IE 8.
