Unable to save my document

I tried to save one of my PDF files and save them as screen came but it is empty and it won't let me click out of it. It won't event I want to leave the program. Is there a way to reboot?

Hi marcim96932989,

Try this: -.

The default "Save as" dialog Acrobat DC is different from the dialogue box you had in earlier versions of Acrobat, it also allows you to record in the clouds and previous locations that you saved the files. It is possible that when Acrobat tries to connect to the 'cloud', it runs into problems. You can try to disable this feature to see if this brings your backup in the back of the box: open Acrobat Preferences, then go to the "General" category and uncheck "show the online storage when you save files:

Kind regards

  • Unable to save scanned document in some computer disks under acrobat pro dc-save to cloud document only

Just installed acrobat pro 10 Windows dc.

Scanned documents will be only save on document cloud - cannot save the document to your computer local driv.  Get the since Acrobat error message indicating that "the file is in use - Save to another name or folder.  Acrobat will not save scanned on the local computer drives.

    Please notify.

Thanks Bill.  Have you tried "save under" prior to the aid application.  No difference.

Also "spoke" with Adobe technology that said it was a Microsoft problem.

Because it seems to be a permissions problem with Adobe I ran Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2015 as "run as Administrator" from the context menu.

Problem solved.  Must run as AA DC 2015 as 'administrator' to get the permissions appropriate to save documents digitized to hard drives 'my computer '.

  • Unable to save Office documents in shared folders

I think it is a common problem, but I am unable to find a definitive answer.

I have a Win7 Pro 64-bit host PC with XP SP3 32-bit comments and Vista SP2 32-bit feedback. I'm under VMplayer 3.0.1. All my documents are on the host drive that is configured as a shared folder in XP and Vista.

If I edit a Microsoft Word document in Vista and re-register, then everything is fine. If I change a Word XP document I can't re-record it the document opens in read-only. If I try to create a new Word document in XP and save it, I get the error message "there is a network permission error or a file. The network connection may be lost.

There's no problem with Outlook or a cell phone. My Outlook.pst file is on the same drive D. If I open Outlook XP, download a few e-mails, close Outlook, reopen Outlook in Win7, then all the new XP emails are there.

I've tried everything I can think of, but have now run out of ideas! Help!

have you tried to access the machines by IP rather than using names?

It is often useful to create entries in the hosts of each system file...

Sometimes it works better to not share a full example D: drive and use instead the directories like D:\share

You receive this message when recording on your local computer?

Like you're on a Mac, I'd probably start by running disk cylindre (Utilities folder) and by verifying and repairing the permission errors. Then restart your system and try again.  See: fix permissions of drive with disk - Apple Support utility for instructions on how to do it.

If this does not work, look to reset your preferences and clear the caches.

  • Help!  End users with Reader only impossible to save the document that they fill out forms...?

Hello and thank you in advance for your help!

I have the full version of Acrobat 9 Standard, but I also have the trial version of Acrobat X Pro, in the hope that she would do what I need it to do.

In my business, I have a 30 page document in PDF with form in all fields.  I send this form to my clients, and they fill it in, sign it and send it back.  I wish they were able to save the document so that they do not have to fill out the 30 pages together in one sitting, they can work on the forms for a bit, then reopen later.  So far, many of my clients have complained that they are unable to save the document at all.

In addition, even if I'm here, I would also mention that I would like for these customers to put digital signatures on these documents rather than having to print, sign and scan or fax for me to hide.  I have white signature on the PDF in question, but I want to be sure that my customers end users having ONLY the reader can this sign digitally.

    Help?  Suggestions?  Thanks in advance!

  • Error message on Windows XP, "Windows-Delayed Write failed, windows was unable to save all the data for the file.

I use windows xp as the operating system. I bought the new 3G huawei data card. While surfing internet, between a pop-up is displayed

«Windows-delayed write failed, windows was unable to save all data in the file C:\Documents and settings\new\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Session Storage\004285.log.» The data has been lost. This error can be caused by a failure of your computer hardware.

After this computer freezes and I have to restart my computer. Please help me how to fix this problem.

The error basically says that he tried to write something on your hard drive and for some reason that unfinished write operation.  This could indicate a bad sector on your hard disk, damaged disk or a problem with your hardware.

Whenever a problem involving a disk read or write appears, my first approach is to perform a verify operation of the disc to the hard drive.  Even if this is not your problem, it is a step of good routine maintenance. Run the disk check with the "/ R" or "Repair" option.  Note that the real disk check will be presented at the next reboot, will run until Windows loads completely, cannot be interrupted and can take more than a few hours to run depending on the size of your hard drive, the quantity and type found corruption and other factors.   It is better to perform during the night or when you won't need your computer for several hours.

  • Adobe Illustrator for error message "unable to save the picture. You do not have enough access privileges. "ID:-5000"

Trying to save the illustrator on new Macbook pros and the system file gives me the Illustrator from Adobe to the error message "unable to save the picture. You do not have enough access privileges. ID:-5000 "... No idea what it is how to get a rise out of privileges?

You are not allowed to write to the specified folder.

    CHEK your access privileges.

Also: in case you save to a network: do not.

Try to save in the Documents folder in your user folder. Then close the document and check what needs to be checked.

If you need additional assistance, please we say system and version of Illustrator and where you want to save.

  • Unable to save the file in PSD - PS says that the file is over 2 GB when it's not

I have a PSD that I worked on for many months. This week I got a new computer. When I open this file on my new computer, I'm unable to save as a PSD. The size of the file, in Windows Explorer, is 600 MB. Depending on the size of the PS CC Document displayed at the bottom of the Document window, the size of the document is 288.4 M / 1.77 G. Yet, when I try to save this file on my new computer, I get this error:

Could not save it as "filename.psd" because the document is larger than 2 gigabytes.
See Help topic "backup files" for more information.

I do not understand how I worked on this document for several months and never had a problem with recording it, even now, on my new computer, it is impossible to save. My new computer has a secondary SSD hard drive that I use as the primary scratch disk. The new computer also has more RAM and a processor more. I had copied all my files from the old computer to the new preferences, and I do not see all of the settings are different between the two computers. Can someone please provide some guidance?

    Hello

To ensure the follow-up to future readers who find this post, indeed it was a 14.2 bug fix which fell from Mindy file.

14.1.2 and older versions of Photoshop, it was possible to save a document in PSD format which would not properly push the limit of 2 GB of formats (vector data stuck with the Max compatibility). We had a report of someone who inadvertently produced 300 + GB of files (http://forums.adobe.com/message/5666971#5666971). With 14.2, now make us some additional controls while recording and to issue warning limit file size. One of these controls is to the pixel dimensions of the data (the data of superior image then 30K pixels).

Although MIndy file na not to exceed the 2 GB limit, it triggers the check of size of pixel data. There is a smart object layer that put across 6000%.

So if you are getting 2 GB limit warning and didn't in previous versions, take a look at the scale of values on smart object layers and note the layers covering the area pixel values in the Info Panel and checking vector data (pasted from Illustrator guides).

    Kind regards

    Steve

  • Unable to save in plain text format

I'm unable to save money in text format. Need to convert PDF to plain text. I can save it as a Word, but I need to save it as plain text.

When he converted, and the new text file opens it is empty.

    Jill

If you use Acrobat 10 or 11 Pro "Recognize text" - on this file.

Maybe the document has been parsed. A scanned document contains any text, it's just a picture. Recognize the text will make the optical recognition of characters (OCR) on the document, and then you can save as text.  You will have to look to find errors in the OCR.  Sometimes, he can hardly discern the characters.
