Analog audio CD with .cda (?) files

Cannot change devices in Windows Media Player Digital to analog for listening / copy the CD on computer. Help!

Hi evaldimiro,

Navigate to the CD drive, the Explorer, and then double-click a .cda ( CD Audio Track) file to read.

Are you able to read the file?

I suggest you try the following steps:

1. open default programs by clicking the Start button, click default programs.

2. in the absence of programs, select associate any type of file or Protocol with a program

3 refine the .cda file to open with windows media player

Check whether the problem is resolved.

Note: You can not read the CD Audio track (.cda) file, if you copy a .cda from the CD to your hard drive.

    Whats happening guys? :(

    Hello

Please visit this page on the CDA file extension!

    Also, I found this info:
+ A. shortcut of CDA file is a small file generated by Microsoft Windows for each track on an audio CD. The file contains indexing information and are named in the format TRACK #. CDA. The files do not contain any audio and are basically useless when a CD is ripped to a hard disk or converted to MP3 and written as files on a CD. • AirPlay - aTV video, sound effects for AExpress: does not work with large files

    Hello!

    My setup

    • Internett--> modem (Cisco?) --> a/c Airport Extreme (latest high version)
    • iMac, iPad, 2 x iPhones. iMac installed Beamer.
    • Bedroom: AppleTV 3rd GEN rev A - hdmi--> LG TV (old). AirPlay ON, 'Apple TV room '. Connected to the local network of 5 GHz.
    • Bedroom: AirportExpress 1st GEN 802.11 a/b/g N-Draft (last type of those that go right into the socket) with AirPlay - stereo--> stereo BOSE. AirPlay ON, 'room '. Connected to the local network of 5 GHz I also tried to connect 2.4 GHz network, no significant variation...
    • Living room: AppleTV 4th Gen. - hdmi--> LG TV (new). AirPlay ON, "iTV."

    Problem (abridged version)

Most of the time - but not every time - when I stream video + audio iMac to aTV and choose to listen to the audio portion of the aTV to a separate AExpress (which is connected to a better BOSE audio system), the movie will not play. Streaming both audio and video - and only - the aTV works perfectly, but then I have bad sound, since I use the TV's internal speakers. What is reasons for it? Tips to fix it?

    Problem (full version)

Every time when I stream video and audio from large multimedia files (about 3-4 GB .mkv) of the iMac (Beamer) on the ATV to the room, I didn't encounter any problem. Buffering is fast (2-4) and there is no delay or other negative experience. Unfortunately, as with all flat TVs, the sound of the TV is poor. Since I have a BOSE sound system, placed around this TV, I like to use it for audio. As I do this is - after the streaming media file (Beamer) iMac to the bedroom aTV - pressing the Center "Select" button during 1 sec on the remote to display the "audio" preferences and select money "Chamber" (AExpress related to the BOSE sound system). In this way, I think that audio + video is streamed to the iMac on the ATV in the bedroom, and the sound is then broadcast the ATV to the AExpress. This is where the problem occurs. Sometimes it works very well, as today in the morning. No lag and everything works fine. But most of the time, after changing the preference "audio" in the sound stream for the BOSE, the beginning of the play symbol buffering becomes the symbol of the break and nothing happens. I hit play again and the symbol of the game / buffering symbol lights up for a few seconds, and then again to pause. She never starts.

The problem usually occurs with heavy multimedia files / large size 1080 p and 3-4 GB, not with the simplest 720 p files weighing about 1 to 2 GB. This makes me think it's a matter of WiFi capability. But if my WiFi network should not be able to manage that? I think that the apple TV in the bedroom and the AExpress uses the N standard, so it is the limiting factor. But if this interface should not be able to handle the traffic? Is it true that do what I do - separate the video and audio - use twice the network traffic?

I also want to mention that everything works perfectly at certain times, like this morning. Last night (12 h) it wouldn't work at all... Perhaps there are more traffic yesterday (Saturday) evening.

Questions (summarizes all Qs in text and some new)

    1. My network be able to handle the traffic encountered at the stream video + audio iMac to mountain BIKING in the room and streaming audio of ATV to AExpress at the same time?
    2. It is true that this configuration requires / use twice the network resources?
    3. Do you also think that my problem is caused by a network limited issue / the amount of data PR. second?
    4. I have a new (flat unit with power cord separate) Airport Express. This device manage more traffic and thus possibly resolve my problem?
    5. Other suggestions to solve my problem?

Sorry for long post, but I think that its better with much info little. Have a great Sunday =)

I think I can explain the reason for the problem... but I have little experience with sound problems... so you will need to figure out a work around.

The nature of wireless networks, it's to manage the stream very well... but they are much less good at the sensitive time of things like multimedia transmission continuously. In fact, if you want to stream multimedia content over wireless, it is preferable to use specialized units... no wifi. I have a 3D projector and home theater system that uses a special wireless link from Epson to the projector... It is amazing that it can handle the required data of 3D projection. It does so by using 60GHz or some these extremely high FREQ... and totally dedicated units... no wifi. In the end, we ran an HDMI cable in the wall... it was largest wireless but not could be started reliably. Wireless is simply not ready for the big time of streaming video high definition even when dedicated.

Wireless network adapter... It is wifi, can handle only one connection at a time and it time slices between clients. It's also half-duplex, so it can only send or receive... it can't do both at the same time.

On the other hand, modern interrrupteurs ethernet can stream to multiple devices at the same time. It can also handle send them and receive at the same time... That is to say in full duplex. This is why the networks ethernet much more suitable for media streaming wireless never can be.

As soon as you try to use double flow... even if it is audio (low bandwidth) and a video (broadband), you will cause huge delays to the video component. The video stream has literally if stop to give the time to the audio to catch up... you can immediately see where this will lead. Low resolution, it might work... but at high resolution, there is bandwidth inadequate considering the Division of time.

It would be much better to use the audio on the TV. Or check if the TV itself has audio output... that plug into the standard analog audio system RCA or it could even have out optical. Who will then provide a means by which the flow must not be split. My samsung smart TV offers you both.

The other solution probably won't be viable... execution of ethernet.

  • Capture Analog Audio Cassette on Qosmio player

G163 manual indicates that the SVHS-IN should be used to capture the audio analogue. But same Belkin do not sell a SVHS cable with two RCA plugs / mini-prises on the other end. Or is it safe to the output of a speaker port extension cassette player for entry into the microphone port.

But which could overload the circuits if the volume is too high. I have the audacity to make the real analog - digital conversion and capture. I am amazed that this a portable Hi-Spec (and expensive) does not come with something as simple as an analog audio line-in port.

    Thank you very much.

    1. you get easily no matter what audio through audio red and white composite input(red-white-yell0w) provided and yellow video.

    2. video (not SVHS) is for video only (image), it cannot carry audio!

3.I have used windvd creator and the above to convert ALL my VHS and SVHS tapes on DVD with audio and audio video and even dubbed through the input mic for more than a year now (best video with SVIDEO and you must still connect to an audio input to the unit)
Qosmio comes with a variety of composite video input s video and the split left and right audio inpur with minijack adapter (marked triple minijack)

  • Problem with sound files - appear as "unknown".

    Hello world

I just bought a 8 GB Clip + to replace an old Creative Zen. I don't sync most of my music to the player last night no problem at all, but the audio seems to be another issue...

I updated the drive with the latest firmware and tried to copy the files to the Clip + mode MTP and MSC, as well as with the latest version of Windows Media Player - the problem is that .aa files do not appear at all in the folder of audiobooks on the drive or appear as "unknown". The Clip refuses to read the file 'unknown' and shows a duration of 0.00.00 - oddly enough, if you check the news of track for the file, he referred to corrrectly an audible file with the title and the time everything is OK.

Extremely frustrating as one of the main selling points for me the Clip + was alleged compatibility with files sound then I would be really grateful if anyone can someone offer advice as to the cause of the problem - I know someone else had a similar problem when you use a Mac (see this thread)

    http://forums.SanDisk.com/Sansa/board/message?board.ID=ClipPlus&message.ID=823&query.ID=50730#M823

but I'm on Windows 7 at home and had no better luck using my PC to work that is running Windows XP.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

With the latest versions of firmware, the Clip + and Fuze will work with the files in the Audible Format 4 or Enhanced (.aa or .aax) format.  Check your client Audible (Audible Manager) to the selected format.  If the files are of size 3 or less, this could be your problem.

Do you use the Audible Manager or Windows Media Player to transfer the files to the Clip +?  The Manager works best.  Do not forget that the Clip + has been authorized using the Manager.

  • Please help, audio problem with XW6600 and NVS 315

    Greetings:

I just buy a renovated, XW6600 Xeon dual processor, 8 GB of RAM, Windows 7 Professional 64 bit system.  The PC comes with a nVidia NVS 290 graphics card.  Everything works fine and the speaker in the motherboard Jack produces sounds.  However, when I change the NVS 290 with a NVS 315 (it is a HP 720837-001 replacement part), the sound stops working.  The speaker in the systray icon has a red circle with an "x" in it.  If I right click on the speaker, the playback device, it shows two TV as icon one above the other with a red arrow pointing down and a description on the righ side saying "Digital Audio (HDMI) high definition Audio Device not connected.   I have the same result in 64-bit Windows 8.1.  The problem is resolved, if I reinstall the NVS 290.  For both cards, I use the latest version of the nVidia Driver and driver HP.  Am I missing something?

Any help to solve this problem is greatly appreciated.

First of all, you want to be sure to load the latest version of the BIOS on this xw6600.  It is from the end of 2012.

I met this problem several times... do not know if these suggestions will help, but I think that your experience may be related to previous losses audio when the latest drivers are loaded that contain "pilot high-resolution audio" in the game of video driver.

The current Quadro NVS 315 W7 64 bit graphics drivers Quadro ODE 320.92, which work well in my xw6400, xw6600 and xw8400 workstations running several types of cards Quadro FX and NVS.  If you have used the standard installer downloaded and used the standard "recommended" install that he threw into about 5 pieces, that only one you really need (selected by default single main driver in a custom installation).  That's all I use now, throughout my nVidia installs, and I also check the clean install box on the last page before loading begins in the custom installation path that I go down.   So, to charge fees, I first uninstall anything nVidia via the control panel and then hunt around on drive C for nVidia remains in the trash.  This includes any folder with nVidia in its title, including temporarily enable Show hidden files and folders in the tab views in the Folder Options Control Panel.  I then reboot and finally make this unit "clean install" - checked - technical of custom installation.

Try this approach first... it's easier.  You might have luck, and audio can return.

One of the elements that was installed in the "recommended" non-custom installation was a driver of nVidia high-resolution audio.  This seems to conflict with / replace the RealTek driver who was using your audio RealTek chipset on the motherboard.  I discovered that there is a part of BIOS for those workstations which is usually hidden, but sometimes becomes visible with installing drivers high-resolution audio.  F10 in the BIOS, go to the Advanced tab, down for the terminal Options and check if rebalanced Audio appears just above monitor follow-up.  If he was not hidden by the nVidia high-resolution audio driver load then it will virtually always disable status.  Change to activate, F10 to save the change and BIOS don't forget to save changes on exit and F10 again when BIOS asks.

We got exactly that occur as a result of installing the drivers nVidia GeForce to a GeForce GTX 650 Ti BOOST on a xw8400 and I saw that happen with these latest nVidia Quadro driver packages, too.

This is the second best method to solve the problem, if it works.

Another approach is to save your current BIOS settings via replicated in the BIOS Setup, load into my settings to clone xw6600 (attached) and see if the sound comes back like that.  Sometimes integrated Audio remains hidden when we F10 in the BIOS, but my clone settings was set correctly even though the option remains hidden.  You can open the attached CPQSETUP. TXT file with Notepad and Find allows you to do a search for "audio"... the second shot will be the Audio integrated, one.  Note that it is configured to allow this clone... He usually lies in a status of disable, otherwise.

You can edit it with Notepad, except that, and charge that the version of your original settings of the BIOS using replicated Configuration changed if you want to use this technique with other types of work, such as the xw8600 workstations.  You will always find this entry via this method, even though it is hidden when you look directly into the BIOS, so it's a good thing to know.

It is the third most easy.

Fourth... you start dinking autour with drivers in Device Manager.

Replicated configuration function of the BIOS with a USB, it is very easy to save your original BIOS settings, try another set of settings and return to your original if you wish.  The clone CPQSETUP. TXT file can be edited by hand (with caution) to convert a Disable to activate, for example, saved and then downloaded into your BIOS firmware.  If you want to try attached BIOS xw6600 clone settings make sure to change off the coast of the "xw66002" so that only CPQSETUP. TXT is on your USB... Replicated configuration works which with a file named exactly that.

I posted here a few days on exactly the configuration of the workstation this clone has been optimized dethrone archive on it.

Finally, please post back with your findings because it has become a more common problem, and the more data we have here: it is likely, we will find the fastest solution boilerplate.

  • Impossible to play .cda files

    Original title: .cda file issues

I have a samsung Q330 and I am trying to download a teach yourself french cd that has the format .cda. I have windows 7, but it does not recognize that there is even a cd in the drive. My boyfriend has an Acer with Windows 7 computer and has no problem with the cd said. Why my computer does not recognize this drive? It works fine with any CD music and had no problem with a Norwegian cd of the same company. Any ideas why this would be?

    Try this:

Download and install AudioGrabber (its freeware) and see if you can use it to rip the CD to your hard drive.

  • 1244tx dv6 - Audio hail with Windows 7

    Hi guys,.

I recently updated my dv6-1244tx for Windows 7 Home Premium (32 bit). Since doing so, audio quality has changed, now that intestine with no bass at all, as the audio goes through a high pass filter or something. This happens in all applications.

I installed the latest audio drivers (or think windows are later anyway) and CODECS on the official hp, nothing helps. FWIW, mute key on the top panel is now definitely red/orange, when she used to change white to reactivate, red for silent...

A brief google showed a few other users with similar problems, but without real solution fixed - so just wanted know if other hp owners have experienced it, or if anyone has any ideas on what I can try.

    Thank you [fingers crossed]

    R.

Okay, as an update, I just tried to push back the IDT High Def Audio Codec for the driver installed previously, who had the same spindly (not low) audio quality.

Then tried to put up-to-date that Codec to later, and now the media player does not play anything - a message error "Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with the audio device".

So, to see if Windows can generate NO noise at all, I'm going to: Control Panel > change system sounds, where I get a message saying something like "improvements can affect the performance of your device, you want to disable the improvements?", I click OK and problem is solved - Audio returns with the bass, pleasant and perfectly crisp and clear.

It seems that some improvements may have been enabled in the driver / default settings of codec? I'm not sure of the original problem, but am glad it's fixed.

I hope this post helps others who have similar problems! (if you can give a sense of my ramblings!)

    See you soon,.

  • Extract the audio channels to mono files - does not

When I right click a file .wav stereo in the files Viewer, why are the "extract audio channels to mono files -" option grayed out?

It worked for me a few weeks before a hearing CC 8.1.0.162 update.  I resorted to using version CS6 where it always works.

Well, even if I don't use it there, I agree with you - it does not work and is grayed out, and there is no reason that I can see. It still works fine in the Edit menu on the same file, and also you can assign a keyboard shortcut, so you have not really lost all features, even if I would say it was a bug...

I'll connect it with a reference to this thread.

    I do Audio Forensics.

I do not work in the multitrack environment.

Preferable the same RX 5 adv does,-all what I did with my single file. All filtersettings and cancellations.

But at least - my audio with my FX rack loaded with the FX, I used, - and the right settings for each of them.

And of course-the markers and regions that goes with the file (I guess that's ok, because metadata follows the sharing of .wav files)

Hearing sessions exist for multitrack environments, not at all for editing waveform, which is destructive.

Hearing stores audio markers in addition separate at the end of a wav file. There is a software called CueListTool that gives you options of manipulation that may well help you. As far as I know, it still works fine with the current version, even if it is quite old now.

  • Audio in .mp4 cutting file

The audio in the mp4 file, I try to use gets cut. He plays 95% of it, but for some reason any interrupts audio towards the end. I checked the file on a PC and Mac as well as on both the audio shows very well, but when I open it on my computer (Mac), it is cut. I tried a clean install of AE CC 14 and that did not help.

Export the audio track in a separate audio file, not COMPRESSED like wav or aiff and use it in AE.  Media encode from Adobe should do.

While you're there, you might just transcode mp4 as well; a movie quicktime in codecs Photo JPEG or PNG would be better for the use of AE... and you can keep your audio with the video file, too.
