Google has decided that they will produce is no longer the toolbar for Firefox 5 and newer version. It is better to move on to other alternatives to try any "hacks" in the toolbar which may or may not work in the future. Future versions of the Google toolbar works only with IE7-9. Google toolbar is not available on all other browsers, even own Google browser.

Toolbar Google has said that it only works with Firefox 2 - 4.0, and it does not, since I was Firefox 5.0.1.
You don't have it and you want to try it, why?
The Google toolbar is no longer supported by Google in Firefox 5 or more, you may be able to get what you want from him for a limited time, the instructions to install the Google toolbar have been posted before that Google has actually announced a fall support.

When I updated to Firefox 5, I got a message that the Google toolbar has been disabled because it was not compatible. I guess the same is true for version 6. After trying to use the browser without the toolbar for a few days, I gave up and reinstalled version 4. Now, I am constantly pop-ups asked me to update and I can not yet send comments because you don't accept until I update. Version 4, I never had a problem with before, is now very unstable and I stopped at regular intervals to unfreeze it.
Do I need to switch to another browser in order to use the Google toolbar?
The Google toolbar "not build on Firefox 5 and later versions."

When do you expect a fix for the google toolbar? I'm only an estimate not an exact date!
I won't install the update until I have an idea when the fix for Google toolbar will be expected. I have programs that run only on Firefox using the Google toolbar. For me, it is very relative and distracting when the pop-up window appears with the updated info. and I'm not able to do anything. Your comments would be very helpful. Yet once again, I don't have exact date! Just sort of calendar or if I'm looking at a year, 6 months or what...
You are welcome.

After you install Firefox 5.0, I opened Firefox. I thought that the new interface looked good but I noticed that something was missing; my Google toolbar.

Please solve the problem of compatibility with the Google toolbar as soon as possible
Google must update the program toolbar for Firefox 5.0.
The toolbar 7.1.20110512W version works quite well in Firefox 5.0 using the add-on Compatibility Reporter. But not all features work 100%.

Google Labs is working on a version 8 GTB, but looks like he is not made for Firefox - just for Internet Explorer.

So, maybe Google will not support Firefox any longer. Maybe it's a gesture to force users of Google Toolbar on Google chrome, which I believe has all these built-in features. -
On my previous Firefox browser I mainly used applications on the google toolbar, not Yahoo, one that is not as good as the google toolbar. Now, the google toolbar disappeared and when I tried to download, he said that it is incompatible with Firefox 5. I noticed there are a number of queries on this subject, but no solution found. I'm sure you can give an update to allow us to recover our toolbar with all our info stored. Otherwise, I might have to use IE.
Many users have gotten the function of the Google toolbar again by installing the Add-on Compatibility Reporter. Google just needs to test the toolbar with Firefox 5 and change something in their code specifying the versions of Firefox with which it is compatible.
Add on Compatibility Reporter: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/add-on-compatibility-reporter/
