  My CP1515N of HP color laser printer has started to produce horizontal black lines.

  

  Lines are about 27mm and begin at different places on each page.

  The unit has printed only about 2500 pages.

  I don't know what is the cause.

  Pages that are totally black look. No irregularity what so ever, with the same shine on the entire page. I think that the rules on the fuser.

  Cleaning things did not help.

  Does anyone have an idea what could be the cause?

  Repairs of the unit is more expensive than buying an all in one inkjet printer. Replacement toner cartridges is also much more expensive and it is not certain that it will fix the problem.

  I hate throwing things away simply because their repair is too expensive.

  I hope that someone has experienced or seen something like this before and can help.

  It turned out to be the cartridge after all. It has been replaced. Problem solved.

  It poses problem when you run the proc of the IDE.

  When you use pages any image or text box 'disappears' or moves if an another image/text is placed too close however to Keynote when it isn't a problem. This function can be disabled?

  Select the two text boxes and tab organize, assign automatic voice against zero dressing. Now, these two items are more questions of mutual polarity, and the boxes don't repel each other. It is a parameter object, and not an application setting permanent.

I save as a bitmap black and white clipart as Formate file extension .png.  My problem I noticed is when I go to import to tell Indesign which, on the right side of art, work is a continuous line. I can go back to Photoshop and the spectacle of clip art that there is nothing there. I tried to copy and past and save as a new file name and still appear when I import clip in another program. My question is what this causes some clipart that I work in and some that I do is not the solid black line? Can help me here I am puzzled why it appear after you save the file and import clip in anorther program.   I've owned an HP Officejet Pro 8500 and scan was perfect.  I recently bought a HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus.

  When I scan from the ADF HP 8600, I get a thin (several pixel wide) black along the lower edge of the analysis that results.  This line will be sometimes slightly twisted or appear only through half of the page, in which case, it tends to become thicker towards the edge of the page).  According to me, this line is an artifact of the analysis of the edge at the bottom of the original document.  I think it is to show where the bottom edge of the page was when parsing.  If the document is that a little offset, then the black line down will be a little twisted, probably following the edge of the page.  This issue is consistent and reproducible.  It is in the mode "Scan mail" and in mode 'Scan To Network Folder.

  When I scan from the flat bed, I get a very narrow black line along the side of the analysis resulting very superior, but the background seems in good condition (although I have not tested this widely).

  These fine black lines occurred when scanning the HP 8500.

  I wonder if there is a setting to adjust it, or if it is a firmware difference between printers needs debugging.

  There are a few things I want to check if you have lines when scanning using the 8600. I see that mention you that lines appear both through ADF and flat glass. There may be something both of the glass sections used by this printer, but more often that otherwise, this isn't the case.
  
  I would check if the printer is connected to a surge protector. If this is the case, then try plugging the 8600 in a direct outlet. Often the surge protector can cause this problem appears because the printer has a built.
  
  Also, try a hard reset:
  * Unplug the unit while the
  Disconnect the other end of the wall socket direct
  * Wait 30-60 seconds
  * Plug the unit to the top
  
  Also, try to take a look at the steps in the document found here.
  
  I hope this helps.

• Spacing of the number in a text box

  Hi all.

  I try on the transition to the CP4 CP5 and run into a problem with numbering. Is there a trick to insert spaces between the numbers of fleas?  If I want to do something like this:

  3. Text

  Due to the amount of text I want to add spaces between numbers so that it looks like:

  1 text

  2 text

  
  Unfortunately, the Captivate will add another bullet between spaces if it looks like this:

  2. 
     
  3. Text
  4.

  Did I miss something on the place where to ignore spaces? I can change the spacing for all lines, but that is horrible.  I want just the single-spaced, but with the spacing between each number flea so it is easy for the reader distinguish every point.

  Yes, Captivate 5 changes the playing field with things like that and they no longer work as they did in the 4. About all you can do is to try by selecting the text and the adjustment of the spacing of line for the selected text.

  If you don't like the way it works in 5 I warmly encourage you to submit a Bug report/wish form (depending on how see you it) to alert the development team.
