Please help me on the following error message, I tried to install nero 8 on my pc at home, but he could not install. I use nero oem disc 8.

    Hello chanderkant,

Where did you get the disc for Nero 8 OEM? Is it preinstalled on a computer on which store your purchased in a retail store?
If so, it may be that the OEM software works only with the preinstalled computer where it was originally installed. It depends on the license to the
    the computer manufacturer.
You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask questions about the Nero 8 disc.

Or you can post in a community forum, if the OEM has one.

    I hope this helps.

Please, I have a Toshiba labtop, what sudenly accident and it does not open windows, this message appears at the beginning upward: unexpected i/o error has occurred. Status: 0xc00000e9

    Hello

The error - an unexpected i/o error has occurred, status: (0Xc00000e9) is a material error in the BIOS of your computer. Basically
It is tell you that the computer is not able to communicate effectively with the hard drive.

Try the Startup Repair. Startup Repair is designed to prevent a time-consuming reinstallation of diagnosis and repair of problems which
prevent Windows to start. Introduced in Windows Vista, startup repair is even easier to use, because Windows 7 now installs on your
    hard drive for you.

    Hello

These errors are often errors in registry. Could be caused by some software disk cleanup or somehing else who has access to the registry system´s.

The only option is to fix the system with an original disc of Windows Vista. If you don t have such a, then you will recover you the system because your registry database cannot be recovered, and the system must be completely replaced.

If you do not already have: backup your personal data... That's all

Is it just a matter of getting a new hard drive? Or the motherboard could be poached as well?

    Hello

If you don t have a CD/DVD drive and then I'd forget all this tests
You need the CD/DVD drive to reinstall the OS again if you have the bootable CD.

If your computer supports USB booting, then you could try to reinstall Win XP from bootable USB drive flash.

    STATUS: 0XC00000E9

There is also an explanation it may be due to an external device that has not been properly disconnected or a hardware error.

I have nothing plugged and restarting the system several times to try to resolve the problem. I also tried to re-boot last secure configuration, but this has not helped (although now gave me my card back like this so that other issues have been a problem - that is why the desire to recover the original system settings).

  • 0xc00000e9 error "an unexpected i/o error has occurred."

UNLIKE ANYTHING I'VE SEEN IN THIS FORUM!  Help!

Hi all!  I am working on a Toshiba Windows Vista 64 - bit laptop and I'm having an experience somewhat similar, as some people have had here as well.  The computer never starts past the Toshiba screen opening.  All I get is the black screen with the blinking cursor.  I tried F8 for safe mode, but nothing helped.  I can access the Setup (F2), but it's really of no use for me in this situation.  I downloaded the Windows Vista Recovery Essentials of NeoSmart Technologies, but after running for several minutes just to load the files, all I get is a screen telling me that "an unexpected i/o error has occurred", and I get this code: 0xc00000e9.  It also says it might be a problem with the hard drive or the CD.  I also tried Ultimate Boot CD which allowed me to analyze the hard disk to find errors, but the machine turns off after a period of time.  Nothing in these forums seem to apply to my problem because I can't go to the Windows Vista logo screen, so try to reach the system restore, command prompt or anything ELSE is impossible because I can't go to the black screen with the blinking cursor.  Can someone help me solve this problem?  Any help is welcome!  Thank you!!!
    Edit:
OK, after the execution of Windows Vista Recovery Essentials, here is my screen error black verbatim:

Windows has encountered a problem communicating with a device connected to your computer.

This error can be caused by unplugging a removable storage device, such as a USB external drive when the appliance is used, or by faulty hardware such as a hard drive or the CD-ROM drive which is a failure.  Make sure that all removable storage is properly connected, and then restart your computer.

If you continue to receive this error message, contact the manufacturer of the equipment.

    Status: 0xc00000e9

Info: An unexpected i/o error has occurred.

Any ideas anyone?   Thanks in advance.

    Hi Stotten,

This problem occurs because you cannot start the computer with a hard drive. The error message refers to a material error in the BIOS of your computer.

If you have any attached external devices, then unplug the device and check if it helps.

If you have no external device connected to your computer, then it might be some conflicting drivers.  You will have to perhaps remove sound card etc in BIOS and check.

You must also update the BIOS with the latest settings.

You will need to contact the manufacturer of your computer for more information about how to reset the BIOS settings.

    http://www.CSD.Toshiba.com/cgi-bin/TAIS/support/JSP/navShell.jsp?CF=su_contact

NOTE: Change (CMOS) BIOS/complementary metal oxide semiconductor settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

Hi 544Help.  Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click on start and type cmd in the box "search programs and files". Cmd.exe will appear at the top of the Menu. Right-click on it and choose "Run as Administrator". Type the following command in the Code area after the prompt > and press enter (which implies that W7 is installed on your C drive).

Reboot and a basket of new ones will be created.

    Hello

You updated the BIOS and motherboard (chipset drivers)? All device drivers? By checking
    manually on the link above?

If so you need to contact the Sony Support as the error is in the provided OEM drivers and not
    Windows 7.
