Uninstall HP PCL6 driver in the display of the message Windows 7 Home Premium

I followed the solution to uninstall HP PCL6 driver in Windows 7 Home Premium using the button Delete in the printer properties that display the message "cannot delete the driver, printer is in use."  The printer is not set as the default printer and the printer is disconnected from the PC.  Microsoft Office Suite 2013 is installed.  No documents are waiting in the queue for the printer.

How can I determine where the printer is in use and change the use in situation?

Hi ndort, thanks for letting me know that worked for you. {Happy Dance }

Think about scoring the Message post that solved the problem like "Accept as Solution" so that someone else in the community of HP who can meet the same or similar problem will know what to do.

Thank you.

My computer is so messed up! I'll tell you the whole story, please bear with me. OK, I came from work (16 years) and my father came to me and said, "your computer does not light, I have was to unplug the internet from behind." And of course, it does not. He would flash on and off very quickly every time, I pushed the power button. I solved this problem by discovering that when my father pulled the cord in the back, that one of the pimples on my motherboard popped to the motherboard touch the metal casing essentially shorting the motherboard, whenever I turned on. So I took everything out and put it back to find the power supply, I have currently failed now of all the short circuit or something because whenever I put in market system it would boot then restart and restart saying something anti-surge protector be activated because of a messed supply power. I went and bought a new and better. So, I solved this problem. Now a new problem happened, now I can't get past the windows loading screen as it freezes. So I reset CMOS to see, it did nothing. Then I tried to boot from the DVD, Windows 7 Home Premium only to find would be frozen when the (Windows Logo) orbs paths crossed 4 color. Then, I entered safe mode and was able to get the Windows 7 Installer and install showing. I went to remove my old partitians containing Windows 7 on my 60 GB SSD Intel Maple Crest 330. I would Setup then it and everything was fine until it has passed the first step and restarted the 'service' screen how it would freeze again. I then went in command promt and formatted my SSD to clear all. (Oh I also forgot to mention I tried Startup Repair tool, it did not work) I then tried to go back to the Windows install screen, but I couldn't get him no matter what I did. Windows will continue to freeze the orb scene that I mentioned above. Even on safe mode, I couldn't do it. I just built this PC 2 month with top of the line parts. I don't know why this is happening. Could this be a hardware problem. I checked my RAM and it reads as it should in the Bios (8 GB, 1333... {really 1600 :(}) I also used the functionality of memory OK on my motherboard and it is said he did what he was supposed to do. All MeltMC is fine too (with 30 degrees C on the CPU and motherboard) what on earth could possibly cause this problem? Please help, I have worked on this for 3 days now, and it's extremely frustrating. I have not this is a faulty Windows drive as I already have successfully installed when I built everything first this PC. I tried the 2 RAM sticks in different configurations. I tried one of them in. I tried to connect the CD/DVD writer in different SATA ports. I don't know what else to do! Please help, help, help! Thanks in advance!

A short circuit on the motherboard off short circuit on the food, you're lucky if everything works as it should.

Defective material, irrespective of the reasons why, will make it almost impossible to install Windows.

I suggest to use the warranty of the manufacturer of your motherboard and get it replaced. Then you can start from scratch, make sure that when you pull the power plug, it does not have one of the motherboard standoffs come off accidentally.

When you install the motherboard next, ensure that you set up correctly and to ensure that the case sides are mounted safely because they add a lot of integrity to the case, bending and causing the motherboard to get in touch with everything that it should not stop...

  • Cannot remove a printer driver in the version of Windows7 Home Premium (64-bit).

After you install the version of Windows7 Home Premium (64-bit), my printer (Samsung ML2552W) would print not but continues to divide a batch of blank pages.  I thought that the printer driver is apparently corrupt and I want to remove it and install again.  However I was not able to do this.  I signed in as an administrator, went to the MMC, but not able to find the "Print Management" snap-in  Then I read that Windows7 Home Premium doesn't have the snap-snap-in "Print Management".  Still, I have this snap or not, how do I remove the printer driver for this printer?

Have you searched online? You searched on Google? You have restarted your computer? Here are the questions I ask for you help answer yourself.

Have you checked if the printer has enough ink in there? Did you check the Samsung website? Have you contacted Samsung on this issue, well, have you? Have you checked the drivers? Have you updated the drivers? Have you checked the 'Device Manager' for the problem? Did you that the cable to the computer to the printer is not a little in it? You should check these. And if they don't work then come back.

  • Driver for hp business inkjet 1100 Series, Windows Vista home Premium x 64

I recently bought a Dell Studio XPS laptop 1640. It has Windows Vista Home Premium x 64 operating system. My hp business inkjet 1100 printer series will not be installed with the hp installation CD. I need the correct driver. Apparently, hp does not offer one for Vista x 64. Is there a generic driver available that will do the work?

HP provides the drivers for their products, not Microsoft.

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/document?LC=en&DLC=en&cc=us&DocName=c00867904

I'm sorry, but the above is the info provided by HP.
Try the info provided by HP. as their workaround, the link above.

If HP does not write drivers for their product, you're out of luck.

  • How do the thumbnails on the taskbar - Windows 7 Home premium 64 bit?

Original title: thumbnails in taskbar windows 7 Home premium 64-bit is not disable

I'm looking for a way to disable the taskbar thumbnails when hunting the mouse pointer over the taskbar in windows 7 Home premium, primarily occurs if you use the editor or another application when mouse pointer (sometimes accidentally) rinse over the bar of tasks and displayed on the screen application or document information , I just watched how disable or view with a mouse click action to.

    Thank you

    Hi RicardoMC,

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Community.

From the description of the problem, I can understand that you need more information on disabling the taskbar thumbnails.

Windows 7 does not include a graphical (GUI) User Interface to disable taskbar thumbnail preview.

The only option that comes pretty close to turning off the feature is by modifying the registry settings. Check out the following link and check if this helps you to disable the taskbar thumbnails.

  • crashed hard drive... need help with original windows 7 Home premium 64-bit on new h.d.

a win 7 64bits h.p... a h.d. failure... installed a new h.d. which had vista (sp2) h.p. on and I want my windows 7 back... is there anyway to give the product I.D. is on the side of my Tower for the microsoft 7 windows that has crashed and I would like to download a copy on the new hard drive? IM wondering if I need a proof of ownership or what anyone like that I bought from a friend's computer and its probably not in my name... I was wondering if this is a problem major and if theres nothing I can do... maybe download a new copy and just enter the product ID I don't know... IM really not too tech saavy... any help would be greatly appreciated... Thank you

So what you want to do is put windows 7 to replace windows vista on your new hard drive?

Step 1: Download the ISO file.
You will need a cache of DVD or a USB flash drive (3 GB or better), if you insert a DVD, then it will ask you if you want to use it with a DVD player or a usb flash drive. Check the box to a DVD player or something similar to this. With a flash drive, you don't have to worry about setting up or anything.
Download the ISO of windows 7 Home premium 64-bit.
Be patient as it can take an hour to download on a medium speed wifi connection.
Step 2: Burn the disk image to a DVD
Now that you will burn the ISO on DVD once it's done. To do than go to where ever you downloaded the ISO on your computer and right-click on the ISO file. Now click on burn the disk image.
Make sure your DVD is inserted. When asked what disc burner, select the drive that you inserted the DVD in. If you have only 1 DVD player you should have only 1 option. Now hit burn and go get coffee or something while you wait.
Burn the image on a USB flash drive
But if you don't have a DVD, you can always use a USB flash drive.
You need to download Universal USB install
Now open universal USB install and it will ask you to choose a Linux distro. Keep scrolling down until you find "software based on other or non-linux".
Select windows 7 Setup from there. Now step 2 hit browse and find where you downloaded the ISO image. Now, select your USB flash drive letter. It takes only 1 option. And click on create. And when it asks you if you want to format? Click Yes.
DON'T FORGET TO BACKUP YOUR FLASH DRIVE PROBABLY ALL THAT FILES WILL BE DELETED IN THIS PROCESS
Step 3: Boot from your DVD or USB
Restart your computer, and while it loads the bios, it must be said somewhere boot options. And there will be a F1, F2, F3, or some F key to enter the boot options.
After that, select the USB flash drive or a DVD drive to start. You will get to the windows installation and you can install windows 7.
It will ask you your product key. It is in any way illegal.
  • How to display Chinese characters in Windows 7 Home Premium?

I see Chinese characters very well in my browser, but all I see are boxes instead the characters for the programs on my computer (running Windows 7 Home Premium). What I want to know is this: is there a way to display Chinese computers in windows?

Before I am flooded with a bunch of useless answers telling me to install the "language pack", I must repeat: I'm under Windows 7 HOME PREMIUM. Yes, I tried going to Microsoft Updates and download the language pack. Unfortunately, I can't see the link for me to download the language pack, since I am running Home Premium, but in operating systems, the ability to see the other languages has been included. In other words, just because I'm running updated the operating system compared to some of the older operating systems, I don't see another language, unless I pay update.
    Seriously, Microsoft? Seriously?
Also, I have in fact look around here to try to find a solution to my problem. Unfortunately, no one ever really answered it. Because the only problem here seems to be a complete disregard of the user and the will to pull as much money on Windows users unhappy. Windows, that is why your stock is lagging. And why I must say that you are unable to many ways to Apple. But if there is a solution, please, by all means, I'm willing to change my assessment.
    Sincerely,
A frustrated and unhappy Windows user.

Well, the answer you don't hear or see is the only solution.

    Take or leave.

Note: Multilingual User Interface Pack MUIs are available in Windows 7 ultimate through Windows Update as optional updates. They are not installed automatically. If you are using Windows 7 Enterprise, contact your system administrator for more information about installing additional languages.

Follow the steps mentioned below to get additional languages.

    (a) open Windows Update by clicking the Start button. In the search box, typeUpdate , and then, in the list of results, click Windows Update.

    (b) in the left pane, click check for updates , and then wait while Windows searches the latest updates for your computer.

    (c) if updates are found, click on Select optional updates.

    (d) select the MUI that you want, and then click OK.

    (e) click install updates.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Please note that the family pack is an upgrade.

However, the requirements for the media upgrade is that you have an operating system already eligible such as Windows XP or Vista installed to use it. Since the Windows 7 end user license agreement.

15 UPDATES. To use upgrade software, you must first be licensed for the software that is eligible for the upgrade. After the upgrade, this agreement takes the place of the agreement for the software that you upgraded. After upgrade, you can no longer use the software that you upgraded.

So, if you are always denied, you will just have to reinstall Windows XP or Vista and let it do the verification of eligibility.
