Uninstall softward distribution service 3.0

I had so many problems with my computer since this program downloaded last week.  I've not had anyone set up a solution that works.  My system restore does not restore back to a date before you download.  I tried to download the cleanup utility but apparently Microsoft is no longer allows it to be downloaded.  I don't find it in my programs or files to remove.  Can someone help get rid of this program?  I have read and tried all the solutions online, but nothing has worked.  Help.

HOW TO UNINSTALL software distribution service 3.0

    Why would you do that?

    You use Microsoft Security Essentials?

If you see Restore Points in your system restore calendar who say:

    Software Distribution Service 3.0

Restore Points see you who belong to the Distribution of software Service (SDS) and are created when Windows Update detects something to do.

Windows Update will download the updates in the folder c:\windows\SoftwareDistribution and once the download is complete, and at the start of the installation of updates (automatically or stop or manually - depending on your configuration) a new SDS Restore Point is automatically created before updates are installed.  After that the SDS Restore Point is created, then the updates are installed.  It works this way so you can still use a Restore Point to go back to a previous time before the updates were installed.

The updates could be the usual things like updates to security updates of the operating system XP, patch, or if you are running Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) and it will update its definitions, you will see a restore SDS everytime MSE Point updates (because it is considered as an update from MS).

If you run MSE, you see a Restore Point of your configuration / SDS each day or more a day depending on suite how often updates come out.   The appearance of these SDS Restore Points can be worrying if you don't know what they mean, but you can always find what it means if one needs to solve a problem.

If you run MSE, expect to see the restoration of the SDS shows up every day or so and that, usually just means that your MSE got an update (not a problem).

Now do you really want to uninstall your SDS 3.0?

How did you receive the update?

Was it via Windows Update or Microsoft Update?

Before the changes are made to your computer, the system restore points are made. This is so that you can go back in case an update causes problems.

    Follow these steps:

    1. click on the Start button

    2. click on accessories

    3. click on system tools

    4. click on system restore

    5. click on next

    6. in the calendar that appears, select the one which refers to Software Distribution Service 3.0 and click Next

After the collection of certain data, the computer will restart, and the update will be gone.

    Hope this helps

  • Micrtosoft Software Distribution Service 3.0 can automatically download & install if I do not use Microsoft Security Essentials? -Malware?

XP pro with Service Pack 3 on 10 years, Dell Dimension 4500.  I use NOT of MSE.  I use AVG, malware protection.  I authorize updates from Microsoft automatically download but I decide to install.  13/03/13, I noticed that my PC had set a new restore point called "Software Distribution Service 3.0". Checking Windows Update I found 8 updates which appear legitimate 3/13 but I did not knowingly take any action to install them.  Have I not malware?  If so, how can I recover?

    Updates were:

    KB2807986 for a Note

    KB2687505 to the Visio Viewer

    KB890830 for malicious...

    KB982726 for Office 2010

    KB2767886 also for Office 2010

    KB2809289 for IE 8

    KB2814124 for Silverlight

    KB2553501 for filter Pack 2.0

    Thank you

When you install Office 2010, Silverlight, Windows Live Essentials or Microsoft Security Essentials, you can make two changes:

1 Microsoft Update (vs Windows Update) becomes your update by default source (that is, if she had not already the default); [1] and...

2 automatic updates will reset the automatic configuration by default (that is, if one of the other options had been selected.)

[The above is specified in the EULA that you accept when you install one of the requests, but it is "buried" in the small print and difficult to anyone who bothers to read.]

Since you had MS Office 2010 installed for a while, chances are that Microsoft Update was already your default. So, it seems that #2 happened to you after you have installed Windows Live Mail (part of Windows Live Essentials) a few weeks ago (i.e. the or after 12 February).

If you have not already done so, do not hesitate to change your automatic updates affecting the 'download but do not automatically install... '. "option.

    ======================================================

[1] so that Windows Update provides updates specifically for Windows, Microsoft Update expands the service to download and install updates for other Microsoft software (MS Office 2010, Silverlight, Windows Live Essentials and Microsoft Security Essentials).

  • Software Distribution Service 3.0. my wallpaper, all my documents, my videos, my photos, my desktop shortcuts, etc. all gone. has had to do a system restore. How can I avoid this in the future?

XP Professional 5.1.2600 Pack 3. Automatic updates are on. After that an automatic update on Mei and June 2012 identified as Software Distribution Service 3.0 my wallpaper, all my documents, my videos, my photos, my desktop shortcuts, etc. all gone. has had to do a system restore. How can I avoid this in the future?

Software distribution service 3.0 is a system restore point, not an update.

When an update is installed a SDS is created.

To check the name of the update, go to the Microsoft Update Web site and check your update history, search for the date, that the error occurred.

Also make sure that your system is clean:

Download, install, update and scan with these full free malware detection programs:

    Malwarebytes (MMFA): http://malwarebytes.org/

    SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx Security Scanner

I guess 'Mei' is your abbreviation of Microsoft Security Essentials under your antivirus protection, is this correct?

  • Problems by pushing into app folios in the Distribution Service

Any idea would be greatly appreciated, I searched a few answers but all mention things I did and I still have this problem:

I need to push four slips in the distribution service for an application that is already public and available displays new publications, the product id is the same for everyone, on behalf of who created them is the same, I don't get any errors when I click on "update" in the site of the producer of Folio but alas! they do not appear on the public app. They appear on the application of the content viewer, however. All sheets are public.

    The app is here:

    Any ideas?

    Thank you!

    Guys, corrected a problem!

We were using the same name of folio (com.whaterverserver.foliopublication) we did not know that this name should be different - our reasoning was that since it is the same application of the same name would apply - so we just add a few factors of differentiation for the name and voila! fixed a problem.

  • Distribution service: "error occurred during the loading of an article."

    Hello

    I'm finishing a folio with 53 items.

During the download of Distribution service, I heard this message more than 20 times:

    Untitled.png

Each time after this message, I need to start the publication process. Items already send pass very quickly and that it slows down and after one or two new items the error occurs again.

So it took me 4 hours to publish a folio with about 140 MB!

This could not be a problem with my internet connection. It's very fast and absolutely stable.

What is the reason for this?

    Thanks for your help.

  • The sharing of the folios by Distribution service?

I need to share a folio with a number of employees. It wasn't a problem last week, but this week it seems folios with HTMLResources.zip added files will not be donwload in the content servers Acrobat Viewer and display error message, shortly after the free folio is run to download. To work around this problem I simply published via the distribution service, initially fixed in private and I managed to download all (and without belt) without any problem.  Is it possible to get a copy of distribution of the folio to other peoples content viewers without having to connect to everyone than me?

The resources.zip of html is a bug we are working on fixing.

Private Edition requires that the log of the user with the same credentials as the person who posted. Thus, no... There is no way to share without distributing the identification information.

  • Adobe Distribution Services horror?

I'm looking in the new distribution Services made available by Adobe and Gigya. My workflow is pure AS3, using FDT, so it made sense to download "Actionscript library" of the choice of the options available here: https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/entitlement/index.cfm?e=distribution

The downloaded zip file contains a single class. I must say it is one of the most misspelled class files that I've seen in a long time. Let's take a peek:

    • An error in line 212 - the variable 'isInitialized' is instantiated with a * = operator, rather than be typed as a * wildcard.
    • An error in line 277 - closing of a class definition must not end with a; delimiter.
    • The name of the class and therefore also the constructor, begin with a lower-case letter.
    • A private static method arbitrary received a first letter capitalized (CreateServiceLoader)
    • There are 3 unused (MovieClip, ErrorEvent and IOError) imports.
    • Variable 'serviceInstance"on line 260 is not fully used.
    • There are a lot of 'Magic Strings' used in the whole of the class.
    • Various commented lines, the names of questionable methods (wait4Stage?) and the countless exceptions to standard Flex Coding Conventions.

Usually this stinks, at best, amateurness. I can't wait to start working with Distribution Services, but this put me in a big way. I can see the class was written by a Peleg Eyal of Gigya, and not Adobe, but I am always surprised to see that adobe should join this somehow. It of to try and developers to push the path to use Flex/Flash builder rather our own favorite development mode?

If anyone can provide info on what, exactly, this class is designed to do; why it is written so badly; and when we might see a decent update to it, it would be most appreciated.

    Hi _duncanhall_,

Thank you for sharing your concerns in this forum. Many of your points are valid, and I will address below or in a later post.

I can relieve your anxiety about the hidden motives. Nothing in the class must or will push developers to use Flash builder.  The goal of this class is to orchestrate the different security sandbox code and ensure that a limited form of cross domain scripting is allowed without compromising safety.

We will examine this approach and I hope to come up with an approach that needs less "magical". "." In the short term, we will probably offer just a .swc you can statically compile in your code.

Some 'mistakes' encoding (for example, line 260) are required to run the allowDomain method in the context of the field of the safety of the SWF Campeau.

Other things are just oversight on our part. Even if the white space of the line 212 between the * and the = is not "significant" white space from the perspective of the ActionScript language parser (it is always parsed as a type with an assignment statement), but it's really bad from a readability perspective. WWE will correct this.

We discuss the choice of capitalization. The intention here was to make the class which is actually a proxy look like a package so that the calling code can look for 'smart' as in:

    com.adobe.fps.distribution.services.XYZ

It looks like a path of the package but 'distribution' is actually a class that dynamically load services and the proxies from them. We will update our community once we took a decision on a more general framework of service. Please stay tuned.

Thanks again for the sharp eyes and we help to improve services.

  • Is it safe uninstall the old service packs when new ones are installed?

I have Microsoft's latest Pack Service, can I uninstall old Service Packs when news are installed?

I have Microsoft's latest Pack Service, can I uninstall old Service Packs when news are installed?

    Do you see even registered?

In general - you should leave well enough alone when it comes to patches.  Microsoft does a job just to install only the parts of a patch which aren't already in place - so, even if you started without service pack, got SP1, SP2 and SP3 as well as 100 + post-SP3 fixes - this is not as if the use of space was exactly cumulative...  The overlap himself would have worked.

  • Cannot uninstall the Client Services for Netware on Win XP sp3.

Try to restore the screen of welcome on Windows XP sp3. Not connected to the server netware in any way. Client for Netware only qualified auto service and only option is to start. When trying to start the service says that the system cannot find the specified file. Client for Netware is NOT listed under properties of the connection to the Local network either, so it is impossible to uninstall this way. Any suggestions?

might be interesting to try the following, go to control panel, click internet connections, your internet connection make a right-click, and then click the Properties tab, it should open this connection uses the following items box.

If you see no client services for netware in this box, lock underneath you should see two tabs (installation) and (uninstall)

the trick is to reinstall it first and then uninstall it later.    Click the install it should open another box box should be the client services for netware and Songbird for microsoft, highlight the client service for netware, and then click on install let the computer install it and restart the computer, then go back in to the Control Panel on the internet, and click connections right properties, once the box opens again it should now have the client service for netware inside now just uninstall highlight and click on uninstall, let the computer uninstall, then restart your computer again, click on Control Panel and use click on modify use way connect you now the home screen should be on.

  • How to uninstall Windows XP Service Pack 2 when I can't find it in Add/Remove programs?

I'm going to erase my computer before you donate. My computer is really old and the operating drive that I said it's for Windows XP with SP 1 Professional.

I tried to reinstall with this CD, but he told me that the service current pack on the computer is newer than the one on the CD, so he couldn't reinstall. I figured out that the SP3 has been installed and uninstalled SP3 from Add/Remove programs box.
Then, the computer is down to SP2. When I went to do the same with SP2, I can't find it in the add/remove menu. I see Windows Updates and a whole bunch of them, but none that said service pack 2.
I went through a lot of pages talking using the term of order etc etc, but nothing works.
Please let me know if there is another way I should try to re - install the original CD so that I can clear all of my computer.

  • How to uninstall Windows 7 Service Pack 1?

You remove sp1 in win7 to get a job.  Help! Help!

Recently (November 2011) I upgraded to Vista (OEM) Home Premium to Windows 7 (Home Premium). Obviously, the upgrade installed Service Pack 1 when it installed windows 7.  Now, I have a chance to get a job (working from home), but I have a chance if I can not get rid of SP1.  I tried everything suggested to research how to remove SP1.  I have 2 questions: 1. How can I get rid of SP1?     2 can it work if I download SP1, install it goes beyond what's already there and then remove SP1 by using the command prompt or add/remove programs?

Thank you very much: Sandra Beall

What Windows 7 Service Pack 1 prevents you from doing exactly?

If Windows 7 is integrated with your Windows 7 installation media, it is not removable.

If you have installed SP1 after the upgrade to Windows 7, see the following topics:
