Uninstall the software - HP Officejet K8600 (Mac)

I just replaced my Officejet K8600 with the Officejet Pro 8600 Plus. I would like to delete the HP software for the other printer that no longer works. How to do that on a Mac?

Hi there bcarls,

Here are the steps:

1. click on Finder > go > then click on Applications.
2. click on the Hewlett-Packard folder.
3. double-click HP uninstaller and then click on continue.
4. Select the product to uninstall (in this case, the K8600), and then click Uninstall .
5. When you are prompted, type the administrator name and password, and then click OK.
6. close all open windows, and then click the Apple icon
7. go into System Preferences >Print & Fax> highlight the k8600
8. click on the minus sign to remove
