• Windows Update fails to install (code 80070002) repeatedly after following all of the recommendations

  As said in the title, my Windows Update no longer works. It says I have a download important (SP1), but will not be installed. Originally, it started downloading and was 6% before giving me the error code 80070002. After that, every subsequent attempt read Ko 0 / 0% and immediately gave the same error message. I tried to use Microsoft FixIt and following the instructions in the database. I also went through the answers to the question by others, after trying what worked in the case, mine is still not working. I get the same error code.

  Just downloaded and started setting up 6.51, installer I spotted had installed 6.50 then started to uninstall, then system crashed (v64, Q9550 2.83 mhz, 8 GB Ram, 2 x Radeon 4850 x 2 2 GB, 6 x 19 "led). Now whenever I try to install either 6.50 or 6.51 I get the message "Set has detected that VMware Workstation is already installed on this computer. Please uninstall this product via the control panel and try again.

  Problem is there is no entry of VMware listed in uninstall in Control Panel options.

  So should I just remove the VMware folder & subfolders that still exist even if reg entries exist or is it a kind of cleaning tool, that I can download to clean files and the registry.

  (a) CS3 is still present (at least one program I checked). I could disable this morning and reactivate later.

  (c) have done a lot of things, but not yet able to update.

  I was able to install CS3 on Windows 7 without problem - once I put the date in 2009 or 2010. The problem I found was that program Adobe update on media I have seems to think that the world has ended and refuses to accept the activation code. With the clock set back - CS3 install, update the update, and then he works as well as can be expected.

  Re: CS4 - I've updated several times in the past - and never had a problem. My fear is that I am disabling CS3 in time so I can install it again, later, if necessary. (My CS4 package is an update and installed CS3 seems to work for the update better).

  To disable the launch any Adobe CS5 application/go to help / select Disable.

  You can do a system restore.

  You can find the system restore in all programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore.
  Select a restore point when your shield installation engine was still there. Let the computer restore and let it restart by itself.

  This morning (1 December), I tried to open an InDesign file to check if my coworker has completed the project. The file is hosted on Dropbox in a folder that we share. Therefore, I did what I always do with any of my files IND: double-click it to open it. It has the file open, showed me a white screen with all the menus and tools of InDesign. And it was like that for several minutes until I decided to force IND quit smoking.

  Then I tried again simply open the IND software. IND began to gave me an error like: IND is blocking down a serious error...

  I turned off the computer, and he did it again. InDesign has the file open correctly, but I can't do anything: no no scrolling, no navigation between pages, nothing. He froze showing me a cursor circle Rainbow for the minutes. So, I decide, once again, to force the software to close. I can't open InDesign at all after that. The same serious error message is shown.

  I have delete all kinds of files based on things I've read on the forum: caches, workplaces etc. Nothing has worked.

  I did a full instalation of my MAC, about a month ago just to get rid of these errors of InDesign. I had enough of it. I don't want to reinstall my MAC from scratch just because that damn application.

  P.S. I just read something on an old post. In this case I agree, there is a file with the extension: *.idlk that's why I can't open the InDesign file? What to do in the future when I see files like that? In any case, it is now unimportant because it won't save me from missing installation option for InDesign.

  Manually, I changed ALL the print processors, drivers and ports in CurrentControlSet, CurrentControlSet1, CurrentControlSet2 to their original values and deleted the Pharos irritating ones.
  i.e.

  "Driver"="winprint.dll".

  etc...

  restarted and it worked!
  Too bad, the troubleshooting of Microsoft tool could not detect it.
