Uninstalling (Windows) key signing
I had problems connecting my app BB10.
The app is an application of webworks. I am currently using BB10 WebWorks SDK 1.0.2.9.
I had a few signature keys installed on this computer before and a few other SDKs.
Given that I uninstalled all older SDKs through the window of Windows remove programs.
Later I installed new keys with a password store.
It seems that some of the older SDKs by flying over the old signature keys.
What is the procedure to wipe completely all signature old keys from a Windows 7 computer?
He has got to work!
What I've done.
1. search my C drive for *.p12 and delete the p12, csk and C:\Users\***\AppData\Local\Research in Motion\ db
2 did a search on my C drive for more p12 files that may have been moved by old software development or d kits
3 did a search on my C drive for all csk or SJC files that may have been left by old software development or d kits
4. request for new keys from RIM
5 installed new keys.
->, I guess you configure webworks development.
I've developed with WebWorks for awhile. I just managed to screw up my signature keys.

Hi I need help to uninstall Windows xp by using the F keys.
My question is the same as above, I can not understand how to uninstall windows xp with the F keys or if I should go to Mode without failure before I can do like that please help me. I checked the places of response and they tell you a whole different way in this way and I tried but it won't work. I also tried to restore my computer back before that I was thinking when I got the Virus, but that only goes so far I'm crazy to go. Please help me I need my computer for work.
Thank you very much
Thank you
auntsands50,
Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum. I need to get the details on your situation. You say that you want to uninstall XP? It will be the only way to install another operating system or use a program that will allow you to erase the hard drive. You mention that you got a virus and you tried to do a restore. So my question is what are you trying finally to accomplish? Do you want to just get a virus on your system or you want to wipe the drive and reinstall XP.
If you want to remove a virus, then here is a link to a program free antivirus that you can use to help clean your system: http://www.microsoft.com/Security_essentials/
If you want to restore your system to factory default then you will need to boot from your XP cd or use the OEM solutions provided with your PC. http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/316941 Mike - Engineer Support Microsoft Answers

I just bought a new windows 8 CD. It has been stated in the CD that I can use to download/install up to 5 times. So I installed windows 8 to my PC and my laptop. I had matched in the product key to my laptop, after I tried seizes the same product key to my PC, which results in an error whichn I had discovered later that you can only use 1 product key for 1 comp.
So my dilemma is now I want to use the product key on my PC and not on my laptop. How to disable the product key/uninstall 8 windows in my laptop so I can use the product key on my PC since I use my PC more.
Also there is a time at which I should activate my windows 8 on my PC? because I'm afraid I'm not able to use it and I will get blocked by microsoft until I can fix this error.
Please help me on how I can solve this problem.
Thank you
Press the Windows key + X
Click prompt (Admin)
At the command prompt, type: slmgr.vbs - upk
Press enter, this will uninstall the product key of the computer and to the evaluation mode, you are now free to use it on another computer.
On the computer where you want to enable Windows 8, you will need to reactivate by phone:
1. press the Windows key + X , and then clickrun, and then type: slui.exe 4
2. then press the ENTER"" key.
3. Select your "country" in the list.
4. choose the option "activate phone".
5. stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.
6. explain your problem clearly to the support person.

Hello HP assistants.
I need help for a specific problem. My laptop came with an installation of Windows 8.1. Then I upgraded to 10 Windows when it became available. After a while, I decided to uninstall Windows completely (to wipe the hard drive) and install a Linux operating system.
Now, I decided that I want to use some software that is not available on Linux and if I want to reinstall Windows 10. My problem is that Windows has completely disappeared in a form any. So now, I need to download Windows 10 from an official source (which I think can be done fairly easily from the official source of Microsoft, although if there is a better, HP official medium to do this then please recommend it) and then I need to activate Windows some how.
As has been made clear, I have the right to use Windows 8.1 and 10 but I would need to download Windows 10 and turn it on. Is there a way to do this? I'm literally stuck without solution.
Thanks in advance.
Hello
As long as the previous installation of Windows 10 had activated Ok after upgrade from 8.1, you can simply perform a new installation as described in the guide on the following link. Note: On the activation screen, select "I don't have a product key" - Windows will activate automatically once installation is complete.

I want to uninstall Windows 8 and install Windows 7
HP ENVY m6-1125dx Notebook PC
My laptop came with Windows 8. I really don't like Windows 8, it is too restrictive. I want to uninstall Windows 8 and install Windows 7. How to go? Where can I get the operating system and driver software.
Should I buy Windows 7 separately? Or can I use the same key?
Before installing Windows 7, can I suggest an idea?
I had the same problem: I'm a Windows 7 user who bought a laptop Windows 8 and don't really like the Metro user interface. It is half cooked for desktop/laptop computer, several apps to not scroll horizontally with the touchpad, etc, etc.
But what I did install a simple program called "Debut8" (http://www.stardock.com/products/start8/) that still allows me to go right at the part 8 Windows desktop and use it as I have Windows 7. The advantage of this approach is that you get the benefits of the internal improvement of Windows 8 (some improvements in performance on Windows 7, etc.) and do not have the hassle/cost of installing Windows 7. You can also try a GPL program called Classic Shell (http://classicshell.sourceforge.net/). So far I am happy with debut8 as a solution.
Anyway, worth before going through the cost and difficulty of installing Windows 7.

How can I uninstall windows 7 and return to windows vista?
Uninstall windows 7 Home premium
How to uninstall windows 7 Home premium package and re install windows vista Home premium SP1
Given what you have...
Get/use your Windows Vista Home Premium media (and product key) to start to go and destroy (create new partitions and format) everything that you installed and install again.
Once you have Windows Vista Home Premium installed, get SP1 and SP2 (in order) to get Vista to update Service Pack, then get all the post-SP2 hotfixes/updates to update installed.
You also need to locate, download, and install all the drivers for hardware devices,-either by the manufacturer of the computer as a whole (if it's a Dell, Lenovo, Gateway, HP, etc.) or by each manufacturer of components support pages (Intel, Realtek, various manufacturers of motherboard, AMD/ATI, nVidia, Broadcom, etc..)
You can then install all other applications (office suites, photo-editing suites, video editing suites, Internet plugins, alternative browsers, Internet plugins, etc) and activate the paid applications using the appropriate series/product numbers.
At this point, you can restore all your backups (documents, music, photos, emails, contacts, databases, spreadsheets, presentations, Favorites/internet Favorites, etc.) on the computer.

How to: uninstall Windows 7 and return to Vista
Original title: upgrading vista to windows 7 and I want to go back to vista.
I have a laptop that has windows vista installed at the factory, when I received it. My husband has upgraded to windows 7 and ended up getting a new laptop a few months later which has windows 7. I want to restore vista windows on my old laptop, but it came not with a drive because the operating system has been installed at the factory. I have the product key for vista, help or suggestions? The reason I ask because we want to use the version that we bought windows 7 on another computer in our House instead of my old laptop.
Hello
There are several ways to return to a previous version of the operating system or even to transfer your files and settings to another version of Windows 7. Before you uninstall versions of Windows 7 you can transfer, backup and restore, or in some cases restore your previous operating system to the point just before upgrade you to Windows 7. The articles below can help you with the expiration feature and can guide you through the process to migrate your files, and then uninstall Windows 7 beta:
Try the steps from the link below to uninstall windows 7.

Background: I have a legitimate copy of Windows XP Professional (license) currently installed on two computers, a desktop computer and a laptop. I want to uninstall Windows XP from the laptop and use my privilege to a right to install this OS on a second computer. How do I uninstall and install on a second computer, download the new Microsoft/computer to recognize that I have a copy only installed on 2 machines?
It's interesting. As far as I know, you can only install system builder OEM licenses on a single machine, not two. You must have a volume for more than one license key and I think that minimum volume licenses is 5. But of course the right people to ask are people of Microsoft licenses.
https://www.Microsoft.com/licensing/ServiceCenter/home.aspx
You should probably check with them to see what license you really. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

How to uninstall Windows Live Messenger in Windows 7
I need to uninstall Messenger. When I installed MSN and clicking 'custom installation' I hope I have the opportunity to choose, but they DO you have messenger. WHY?
I disabled the 'sign' page in and in 'options', but again, the window opens and connect automatically when I log in MSN. This is a nusance, why they just assume you want to converse. I never do.
Help, please. From what I can tell from these forums (I've not seen one for Windows 7), it must be hard to do, and the first thing usually does not work. Could you please be patient with me to help me get rid of this?
Thank you very much.
PS RE: uninstall Windows Live Messenger
I'm using Vista, but I do not think the court proceedings is any different.Go to programs and features > do you think Windows live Messenger or Windows Live Essentials from the list?
If you see the Windows Live Essentials > right click > click on uninstall > watch the screen, it will ask you which program you want to uninstall > select Windows Live messenger. For the benefits of others looking for answers, please mark as answer suggestion if it solves your problem.

Number of records is renamed in the update but not restored to there original names when restore you (recover). The security changes made to the files and folders are a mess total going either way.
The only way to get windows stable 10 is to upgrade and make sure that it is enabled. Create an installation DVD or USB media, and then use it to wipe the drive and do a clean install. Do not have your specific system drivers very practical because as you noticed, windows does not all. I've been too 'offline' until I've manually updated driver for my built in "Ethernet cardnetwork Killer ©".
On stability of windows 7 after recovery, I'm still working on that myself. I know enough to save a lot of data on a 2nd drive and I know the occupant stupid tricks to regain possession of files, but like everyone else, always impossible to install critical security updates for windows 7.
Currently, your best bet is to wipe the drive and reinstall windows 7.
