Unknown device Lenovo G510!

Hello

I have hust installed windows 7 and all drivers in my new Lenovo G510

There is always an 'unknown device' in 'Other devices' in Device Manager...

What could be? I installed all possible drivers!

Under details-> value of hardware ID is root\LenovoVhid

I installed the Lenovo Energy Management properly, although I found a reference that could be the problem

Giannis

Finally I got it... I installed an incorrect version of energy management. Now it's ok

  • S230u Windows 7 unknown device

My company recently bought a ThinkPad S230u for use on the ground, time management and others, to help relieve the duties of our managers. However, my company only supports up to Windows 7, so it was my job to make this thing work on Windows 7. I managed to compile almost all drivers for the machine with hardware ID and various research, which I'll be happy to help provide if anyone needs them. However, there are still two items in my device manager I have not managed to solve yet, and I do not have any progress. Any help would be appreciated.

Two unknown devices have hardware ID:

    ACPI\MSFT9000

    and

    ACPI\MSFT9001

My guess is that it's the battery, but I already have the lenovo power management software installed with no luck. If anyone can help me to get it working on Windows 7 x 64 (Professional), I would be very grateful. Thank you!

As a note, if anyone needs help for other drivers together for a similar project, I'd be happy to help you. I already did the work, so no need to repeat the process if you don't have to.

  • G500 - unknown device in Device Manager

    Hello!

I just buyed a g500, Lenovo IdeaPad of here (so you can see the specifications):

    http://www.pcgarage.ro/notebook-laptop/Lenovo/156-IdeaPad-G500-procesor-Intel-Pentium-2020m-24ghz-4G...

I installed windows 7 and then I installed all drviers from cd. I checked, I don't miss something. Then I updated some drivers for the new versions (chipset, video, audio).

But I still have a device with the missing pilot. It says unknown device. under properties/details, I found this:

    Hardware ID - root\LenovoVhid

Name of the physical device object - \Device\0000003a

I too installed successful management of energy and the management of Thinkpad drivers, but the device is still unknown and missing driver.

    Thank you very much!

    Hi Morega,

Uninstall Lenovo Energy Management power management and try with this one: http://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mobiles/emw7034.exe if it does not help, uninstall it and try with the to Windows 8: http://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mobiles/e80femww.exe the first person I've linked might help.

  • No sound - unknown devices on Thinkpad T60 (with xp sp3, sp2 no)

    Hello!

I have reinstalled xp on my T60 (sp3, sp2 no) and there are 2 unknown devices in Device Manager (1st: ACPI/TPM1200 2nd: HDAUDIO/FUNC). There is no sound on it.

I tried the drivers on the internet and I read: atmel tpm for the 1st, audiodriver (or modem!) for the 2nd.

I found (barely) and I have installed atmel/TPM but the yellow circle with an exclamation mark is still there.

I n "t see any audio driver for xp on the T60 (only audio features...) on the lenovo site.

What must I do to get the sound on my laptop?

    Thank you very much.

You should maybe download Lenovo Thinkvantage System Update and let it download the right driver for you.
