unknown device of the V570 with win8.1

I upgraded LENOVO V570 win8.1, every thing looks good except the unknown question mark device in Device Manager.

It seems to come from the driver manager power, because in the message center, it is the management of that power does not work with a compatabale problem. Search with Google and Lenovo surport, impossible to find a solution. Thanks a lot for all the help someone?

Finally, resolved, just 1 OS - Win8.1. It's step, maybe it can give one help to others who has the same problem.

Turn into a GPT partition > fresh install pro Win8.1 > install drivers etc card reader > install driver of energy for win7x64 management, ignoring the 'not compatable message', restat PC. Ok. That's all!

    Hello

ACPI-> Advanced Configuration and Power Interface
ACPI defines hardware and software interfaces that allow focus on the OS configuration and power management to enumerate and configure motherboard devices.
For example: ACPI is necessary for the standby and hibernation mode.

Now your question; the new BIOS has been updated and configured to using VISTA.
It seems that VISTA was not compatible with the previous version of BIOS because the ACPI interface. Now you can install Vista on the laptop, but it seems that you need a driver. Possibly new chipset driver version might help. But as you probably know, the drivers are not available at this time. Unfortunately

  • Satellite C70D-B-306 - 2 unknown devices in the list of devices

    Hello

I have a PC laptop toshiba C70D-B-306 (psclee) and I reinstalled windows 8.1 since a DVD separate because I change the hard drive by default for a fast ssd drive.

Everything works, but in my device manager, I have 2 unknown devices listed (with exclamation point), as far as I know I downloaded all the drivers available from the support Web site of toshiba for this laptop and install, but the 2 unknown devices will simply not disappear.

Can someone tell me which driver I need exactly for these 2 devices?

    2 devices are:
    ACPI\ASD0001\2 & DABA3FF & 1
    and
    ACPI\SMB0001\4 & FE73487 & 0

As mentioned, I already downloaded all the drivers for this laptop and install, windows is of course to date. Also, I let windows search for drivers on the Internet and on the disc, but no driver found where.

Who can give me the Golden tip?

There is a good method to find out what drivers are missing.
First of all, you should check the DEV (device) and FRI (supplier) codes

Here's a short instruction how to find this in detail:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/HTD0302U00000R01.htm

Know the vendor and device ID, is not a big deal to get the correct drivers.

However, you must also install additional software of Toshiba (Toshiba System Driver) out to win 8.1
Please also note that there are two areas of pilot Win 8.1: 8.1 update Win and Win 8.1 32 bit / 64 bit categories
Where you would find not all pilots within the Win 8.1 update also check categories of 32-bit / 64-bit Win 8.1.

  • No sound - unknown devices on Thinkpad T60 (with xp sp3, sp2 no)

    Hello!

I have reinstalled xp on my T60 (sp3, sp2 no) and there are 2 unknown devices in Device Manager (1st: ACPI/TPM1200 2nd: HDAUDIO/FUNC). There is no sound on it.

I tried the drivers on the internet and I read: atmel tpm for the 1st, audiodriver (or modem!) for the 2nd.

I found (barely) and I have installed atmel/TPM but the yellow circle with an exclamation mark is still there.

I n "t see any audio driver for xp on the T60 (only audio features...) on the lenovo site.

What must I do to get the sound on my laptop?

    Thank you very much.

You should maybe download Lenovo Thinkvantage System Update and let it download the right driver for you.

  • Unknown devices in the devices tree

    Hello

We run OpenManage Essentials (OME) v2.0.1.2222 in a Windows domain. I have seven servers PowerEdge R710 running Citrix Xenserve. I created a records for the DRAC and have added to the discovery and inventory (D & I). DNS is correct with a records and reverse PTR statement records correctly. The name of DNS DRAC has been set for the DNS A record for each of the DRAC (which took me out).

They are discovered by using SNMP and MANAGEMENT. The Dell troubleshooting tool (v3.4.2) does not report errors when you query the DRAC using SNMP & WSMAN by their records.

After a moment, they all appear in the tree view of the devices as properly the DNS record. Five of them are normal - green tick and reports correctly. However, two are appearing as unknown, the serial number, but not the model statement.

As I said, the troubleshooting tool reports correctly so I am at a lost as to why two should be unknown. They should all be the same.

All the advice on troubleshooting more? I removed the devices tree and waited for another set of D & I but the result is the same - unknown devices.

    Much thanks in advance

    John

With iDRAC6, I suggest that you take the approach of the band management either through OMSA because very little support by iDRAC. With OMSA, you'll be able to do most of the things. Yes, install OMSA on Xen Server isn't simple Windows or Linux server although that this is information on the site of dell in this regard support. You will need to download the add-on package from support.dell.com. Check [view:]

    Hello

I just installed Windows XP on a Satellite U500 - 115 (PSU5EE) and cannot get rid of several unknown devices in Device Manager.

Before to install the operating system, I changed settings AHCI in the BIOS to Compatibility-Mode (IDE), so I don't need to inject the SATA driver during installation.

    These are the unknown devices:

    ACPI\PNP0C32\1 (location: Intel ICH9M LPC Interface Controller - 2919)

    ACPI\PNP0C32\2 (location: Intel ICH9M LPC Interface Controller - 2919)

    ACPI\TOS6205\2 & DABA3FF & 0 (location: System compatible ACPI Microsoft)

Of course, I installed driver chipset and graphics driver from the toshiba download page, but the unknown devices are still there! Can you please tell me what kind of driver I need to install ACPI devices - and get rid of these unknown devices?

    Thanks in advance,
    Hans

    Hello

In my opinion the unknown devices belongs to the SATA interface controller and these appear as unknown device because you have installed the XP compatible mode.

Try to install the Intel Storage Manager driver.

ACPI\TOS6205 device can be a Bluetooth device.
You must install the battery Bluetooth to get rid of unknown device.

  • several devices on the network with the same name

I want to install Windows 7 OS computers on a domain with Small Business SERVER 2003.  Curiously, I see all the computers on the network, where I should be able to, but one of them WK02011, is not accessible from all Windows 7 systems because there are multiple devices with the same name on the network according to a diagnosticn check.  WK02011 is visible and accessible from other systems on the network that are runjning XP OS.  There is only one device named WK02011 on the network.  I don't have this problem with any other XP system - that is - I can see and access all of the other XP machines on the network with the exception of WK02011.  I can't access WK2011 from the server and the server indicates that it is multiple devices with the same ID.  Rename the XP would be complicated because of having to re - set up the service to the customer and then turn around and install 7 OS in the workstation in the coming days.

  • Unknown device in the device error 43 Manager

I get a 43 unknown device error when I start Windows 7.  I tried every fix I found after ten days of research.  When Windows starts, and the notification is popping up that I can't use my keyboard are so difficult to do anything.  Finally, the message disappears (I don't know why) and I am able to type, or if I catch it just just between notifications.  At this time I started my computer in clean boot mode and no error message appears and the unknown device is not USB device controllers manager.

What, in my view, that has happened, is that I used to have an LG phone and the software on the computer.  I now have a new phone, Samsung, that I just connected to the same port on the front of the computer.  The Samsung worked, but did not ask me to install the software, then must have run out of the LG.  I deleted the software from LG and then reconnected the Samsung and got the prompt to download the correct software.  I then plugged a generic USB hub device in order to use the phone and any other device that I could plug in (none at this time and I even unplugged the generic hub).

Now I get the unknown device.  Some fix told me he didn't need a driver, but Windows keeps load a generic driver and so the message repeats the process over and over again.

Unknown error seems to be a common problem, probably a fix is available from Microsoft.

Any help would be appreciated more because it drives me crazy!

Thanks for your reply, Al-Shabaab.  In fact, I solved the problem.

I deleted all the Verizon and Samsung software on my computer.  When doing this, I noticed that my keyboard has gradually deteriorated (failed to start in safe mode F8 key would not work).

I bought a new keyboard... and EUREKA!  Problem disappeared!  Then I rebooted my phone software and have had no problems since.  I guess it was a coincidence that the keyboard was dying as I tried to connect my phone to my computer leading me on a GOOSE Chase that was long, difficult and extremely frustrating!

I appreciate the help and I hope this will help others.
