    Hello

You can use this Recovery Partition to reinstall Vista to his new condition with the right edition of Vista.

This recovery partition was photographed on your hard drive by HP during the manufacturing of the factory.

You press F11 on startup to start the process of recovering back to factory settings.

Here is the information about HP.

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/document?DocName=c00809678&LC=en&DLC=en&cc=us&product=18703

If the recovery partition is damaged, you can buy HP's Vista recovery discs for a small fee.

If HP's Vista recovery disks, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

  • The product key you entered will not work with this edition of Windows Vista. You must run the Windows Vista Setup program or enter a Windows Vista business product key

Product key bad for the wrong version?

    Hello

Recently the computer in business inherited from a friend, very fast and very good. Regardless of the operating system no - geniue, is with Vista Business, while the thumbnail of authentication is Vista Ultimate. I took a screenshot of what it says when I put Vista Ultimate product key: (it does not appear if you are unable to use it: P)

    http://S13.PostImage.org/57nfn5pqv/vistareg.jpg

He said: "the product key you entered will not work with this edition of Windows Vista. You must run the Windows Vista Setup program or enter a Windows Vista Business product key."

How would the installation of Windows Vista? My files would still be there when you need him? My drivers would still exist? No matter what to get deleted or become unusable? He would return to SP1? Any response is welcome.

You can order form of the manufacturer's recovery media.

The reason why the system as non-authentique shows currently is using a license in Volume KMS - these licenses must be re-activated at least every 6 months by connecting to the KMS user license activation server.

It will require a reformat and reinstall whatever you do, unless you can connect to the KMS - Volume media server cannot be upgraded under normal conditions.

  • How do itunes run on windows Vista?

I used to run Itunes on my windows Vista computer. Recently, my computer crashed. I did a clean reinstall of windows Vista and downloaded Itunes again after that. Before installing, I saw that I would get a version for XP and Vista, so it should be the correct version.
However, on trying to install it, I got a message that itunes works only on Windows 7 and more. How to run again?

The most recent (and probably final) version of iTunes which takes supports Windows XP 32-bit and Windows Vista 32/64 was issued in September 2015. It includes support for iOS 9, although not Apple music. The Apple software update, it will not necessarily be looking for you and may ask you to update when you are not. The iTunes download page can't give it to you or the other.

See troubleshoot problems with iTunes for Windows updates if you have problems with installation, or for direct links to the current or other recent versions.

  • Error running in Windows Vista

I got a game installed on my Dell Inspiron 1525 and then all of a sudden it no longer works. I installed Odyssey Puzzle for a while now, but the other day I went to play and I get a runtime error of:

    Runtime error!

    Program:... f Odyssey\CradleofRome\CradleofRome.exe Month\Puzzle

This application has requested the execution to terminate in an unusual way. For more information, contact the application support team.

    Hi jplo1979,

    Welcome to Microsoft Answers Forums.

A runtime error is a software or hardware problem that prevents a program to function properly. Runtime errors could cause you to lose information in the file that you are using, causing errors in the file (corrupt the file) so that you cannot work with it, or prevent you from using a feature.

Runtime errors can occur if you are running two software programs that aren't compatible, if your computer has memory problems, or if the computer has been infected by malware.

To check the compatibility of a program, please see the Compatibility Center Windows Vista HERE. Your game software is not listed in the Windows Vista Compatibility Center, see this link HERE for frequently asked Questions and measures to address if the product you are looking for does not appear in the Windows 7 Compatibility Center.

After following the steps above, if a runtime error persists, try the steps in troubleshooting mentioned in the article, what is a runtime error?

    Hope this information helps you.

    Kind regards

1 Cup start-up, you have 2 malware applications running (never a good idea) McAffee and defender. (if I were you I would remove both and install MSE)
    2. also, on startup, you 37 things (including HP bloatware) from.  Who uses the resources and makes possible conflicts.

3 - your 2 DMP files have 2 distinct causes. First USBHUB. SYS and your video driver/subsystem.

For the USB problem, run a file system check

To do what type cmd in start search box, and then right-click to run as administrator, then
    SFC/SCANNOW

It may need be performed up to three times before success
Let us know the results of the report at the end

    Read here for more information
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

For the issue of the video

"Is not a true crash, in the sense that the blue screen was launched only because the combination of material and video driver video was to be insensitive and not because of any exception processing synchronous".

Since Vista, the components of "Timeout detection and recovery" (TDR) of the subsystem video OS have been able to do some really impressive things to try to find issues that would have led to the earlier OS like XP to crash.

As a last resort, the TDR subsystem sends a video driver command "Please restart you now!" and wait a few seconds.

If there is no answer, the BONE concludes that the combo of driver/hardware video has really collapsed in a heap, and it fires at this stop 0 x 116 BSOD.

If playing with video driver versions did not help, make sure that the box is not overheated.

Try to remove a side panel and a fan of big sector directly to the motherboard and GPU.

Run it like that for a few hours or days - long enough to check whether the cooler temperatures make a difference.

If so, it could be as simple as dust accumulation and inadequate cooling afterwards.

I download cpu - z and gpu - z (both free) and keep an eye on the video time

  • How can I prevent the Foxfire loading automatically when I turn on my computer which runs on Windows Vista?

Foxfire load automatically when that I start my computer after all the other essential programs. I would like to know how to disable the start menu link that allows the program to load when the computer first starts because the Foxfire browser is not necessary when I first start the computer. Furthermore, when I first start my computer, it is not necessarily connected to the internet and it's just a little embarrassing to see foxfire charge when it is not necessary. In addition, it takes up valuable memory in RAM when it's running, so slow down my machine. Please, someone show me how to keep this program to start when I start my computer. Moreover, my system is Windows Vista and Foxfire does not appear in the startup folder. Only by going to clicking on Foxfire default program page it does not show that Foxfire has a hidden defect that makes it to launch at startup of the computer. What I'm looking for must not see when I start my computer.

Firefox has no opportunity installation to run at startup, you can check the different methods that Windows uses to launch programs. For details see

  • IM buying a game on amazon, and beside it, it says windows 98, me, xp if it runs on windows vista?

    Help, please

Relay 100% on information from Microsoft Compatibility Center. There is one important thing that you can check yourself. You can download the demo of these games and see can they work with Windows Vista. If I remember, I installed and played carefree in Railroad Tycoon 2 on Windows Vista.

Here you will find demos of these games:

If they do not work with a normal installation, you can try to install and run them in compatibility mode:

    1. Right-click on the file that starts the installation, and then select Properties
    2. Select the compatibility tab
    3. Check the option run this program in compatibility mode for , and for example select Windows XP
    4. Click OK
    5. start the installation by double-clicking on this file (sometimes they must be run with administrative privileges, so double-click it but right click on this file and choose run as administrator )

You may also do this for a file that runs a game. After a successful installation do exactly the same steps for a file that runs a game to run it in compatibility mode.

    ...

One last thing. I mentioned Railroad Tycoon 2. If you were talking about Railroad Tycoon 1 that was created for a BACK, you may need to download special emulator BACK that allow you to run this game. Download and install the emulator back from here: http://www.dosbox.com/ this one I think is the most popular (if I remember that I've also used) > launch game using the emulator back (somewhere, you will find information how to do this). In this way, I launched a few really old game, as the Park theme and Desert Strike.

Much more information on dosbox, you can find on their site wiki: http://www.dosbox.com/wiki/Main_Page
