Unrecognized message security certificate blocking Livemail

I received an email from a recognized source (yachting magazine) I receive on a regular basis.  I get a message indicating that the security certificate is not recognized, but whatever the option I then choose the system crashes completely and the error message remains. The only solution (so far) is to stop livemail with the Task Manager and we hope that the original email is not at the top of the list when you restart.

Any help gratefully received.

Hello

Thanks for the reply: the message is now gone! I received a message that livemail was not shut down properly and that is why the message was not planned - I was then able to delete.

I hope that it was a one-time issue.

As the message is now passed into the ether, I can't tell what is the address of the site!

Thanks a lot for the answer anyway.

Best wishes

Gary

    Hello
    1. this problem occur only while accessing the homepage Outlook?
2 is your reference to Outlook.com, when you say that the homepage Outlook?

Certificate errors occur when there is a problem with a certificate or the use of the web server of the certificate. A Web site certificate identifies the web server, and it allows Internet Explorer to establish a connection to the site. Internet Explorer can help keep your information secure by warning you about certificate errors.

You can follow the suggestions and check out them.
    Method 1
You can reset all default security zones.
a.Open Internet Explorer by clicking on the button start. In the search box, type Internet Explorer, and then in the list of results, click Internet Explorer.
b the Tools button and then click on Internet options.
c the Security tab, and then create one or more of the following:
Auto restore all original security levels, click Reset all zones to default level button.

    Method 2
    Also, try the following steps:

    a. open Internet Explorer window. Click on 'Tools', then select 'Internet Options'. This will open the Internet Options window.
    b. click on the tab "Content" in the Internet Options window. This will open the page content options.
    c. click the "Certificates" button on the page content options. This will open the certificates window.
    d. click the "Untrusted publishers" tab in the certificates window. It may be necessary to scroll horizontally to view the tab.
    e. Click to select the security certificate that you want to trust, and then click the button 'delete '. This will open a confirmation window. Click on the 'Yes' button in the window of confirmation to complete the process

    Method 3
You can temporarily disable the security software on the computer.
    Disable the antivirus software
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/disable-antivirus-software
Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

How can I get rid of this irritating pop-up message whenever outlook is open?

Without knowing what are certificate errors, it is a shot-in-the-dark.

80 90% of certificate in Windows XP errors can be attributed to one of the following two issues:

    1. Time Date, time, time zone, or light of day on your computer is/is not set correctly.  The time on your machine should be within 5 minutes of real time for certificates authenticate properly.  Right-click on your taskbar clock, and select time settings to check the correct time.  Synchronize time via Internet can solve this problem.
    2. Windows XP does a poor job of keeping its root certificates (certificates by which all other certificates are considered) up-to-date.  The newer versions of Windows did a much better job.  It certainly wouldn't hurt to update your root certificates and in many cases, this is all you need.  For update, visit the following article:
"Members of the certificate program root Windows.
Then go down to the subsection titled "root Update Package (for Windows XP only).  Then click on the option "update for root certificates for Windows XP... "the link.  This will take you to the last downloadable update.  Download the package on your computer and double-click it to update your certificates

One of the above should solve your problem.

  • IE during sign-in, get "blocked this site to display content with security certificate...".

I just got a new Office Win.7 and Internet Explorer by connecting to Adobe.com, becomes a 'Internet Explorer blocked this site to display content with security certificate errors'.  the message that I can't go beyond.  I added adobe.com to Trusted Sites.  I tried to lower the level of security.  I downloaded FireFox and it seems to work fine.  So, there must be a setting in IE.  Someone else has solved this problem?

a PC Tech solved my two problems.  The technicians. have a file of certificates on one of their servers.  He who ran and it updated the certificate allowing IE to connect Adobe to Adobe.com.  Second, I received a "No. Internet Connection" message when you try to run the CreativeCloudSetup file.  We started Symantec Enpoint Protection and then stopped again.  It worked.  It doesn't matter that I had already turned off.  Restarted the PC several times.  Start and stop worked.  Hope this helps someone else out there.

  • Why, yesterday evening, I receive the message that the security certificate is not valid on the sites that I use all the time, as my account hotmail, facebook, paypal, etc.?

I even got this message when I tried to post my question! It is said that Firefox can not verify a connection with mozilla, or any website, I am visiting, because the security certificate is not valid. It gives even the dates to which the certificate will be valid, and the date indicates that it is valid. So frustrating! I "replace" Firefox every time.

  • Satellite L40 - B - security certificate error - all Broswers

    Hello

I just reset my computer (he was running more slowly than usual).

    * Toshiba Satellite L40 - Part B: PSKQ8A-00E001 serial No.: 4E141609S *.

And reinstalled Windows 8.1 and updated all the drivers:

However, I am currently getting the following error messages in my browsers:

Google Chrome: Your connection is not private. Attackers might be trying to steal your information of www.google.com.au (for example, passwords, messages, etc.) NET: ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID

Internet Explorer: There is a problem with the security certificate of the website the secutiry certificate presented by this website (google) has expired or is not yet valid.*

    I JUST FINISHED TROUBLESHOOTING:

    1. date and time > I have synced the date & time of time.nist.gov
    2. scanned for the broswer addons > using Avast Antivirus I scanned for any Add - ons that may have been placed on my computer - found nothing.
3 uninstall all programs on computer > I uninstalled all the programs I don't know download.
4 reset all the settings of the browser.
5 broswer update to the latest version.
    6. for Google Chrome - tried to use Incognito - has continued to receive the error message.
7 browsers uninstalled and reinstalled on the computer.
8 restart the computer once the previous steps.

I tried all the possible troubleshooting found on the Internet - if you can let me know if there is any more I can take - there seems to be a problem with my laptop because I have reset > I've never had this problem before.

I'll write the programs currently installed on my computer below if you know if these are the original SSL problems

    Alcor Micro PCIE card reader
    Setup driver Atheros
    Avast free AntiVirus
Bluetooth Stack for Windows by Toshiba

    Synaptics Pointing Device Driver
    Toshiba Service Station

    VLC Media Player
    YTD Video Downloader 4.8.9

I found some details on this error notification ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID
The reason has been discussed in the Microsoft forum.

It seems that Avast antivirus somehow involved in this error.
Try disabling all the parameters that may affect the https sites.

Of course, you can also try to uninstall Avast Antivir and could test other software like Avira Antivir.

This seems to be related to the 'Gamers unit' toolbar, using xml.freecause.com. Apparently freecause.com has left their security certificate expired, and those of us using the Snag bar receive this error because of the snag bar Gamers unite and not FireFox itself.
