• Recovery of unused files

  Hello.  Friday, I have created a handful of pages in the section of the table of contents as I usually do.  This morning when I arrived, the files were no where in the list Table of contents or file.  After doing some research and came across the report of unused file, I find that the files listed here, however, I can't find the files anywhere in my project folder.  Is it possible I can recover the files listed on the unused files report?

  What you normally do in this case is to right click on the folder where the files are located. To do in RoboHelp HTML project manager. Choose Import on the shortcut menu, and then make sure the dialog box that follows has files of type set to HTML files.

  This should get the files showing again in RoboHelp.

  I can't download anything. I get a message that the disc is full... Remove unused files and try again... I have deleted many, cleaned the register w/Ccleaner, but doesn't seem to be enough... I don't have the original Windows XP CD... Was already installed. I don't have a recovery CD. Can I use this and start all over again to start on a clean slate? Is there something I can do? I can't yet to update anything.

  Please do these two simple things and the report on the results.

  A. report of the disc

  1 double click (or click, if it's in the start menu) Workstation

  2. for each drive (you must be at least 'disc' Local (c), right click and select Properties.  Report of the 'space used', 'Free space' and 'capacities '.

  B. know what is using the space

  1. get a USB that has at least 4 MB of space.  You can buy a 4 GB (this is 1,000 times more that you) thumb drive from Staples for $7.99 and connect it to your computer.

  2. download JDiskReport.  Go to http://www.jgoodies.com/downloads/index.html, make a right click on the link 'Win', choose ' save link under ', navigate to your USB key and save the file.

  3. in the installation: uncheck the 3 boxes on the screen "select components"; on the "Choose installation location" screen, click the Browse button and navigate to your USB key so that all the files will be installed on the USB.

  4. when the installation is complete, click on my computer, open the USB key, open the folder named JDiskReport and double-click on the file named jdiskreport - 1.3.2.jar (you don't see the .jar extension).

  5 scan C: and see what is taking place.

  I noticed that there is a problem in specific terms that has been fixed in 4.2.1

  Is not this problem.

  This is a problem when I select 'Specify report File Path by Expression' specify the expression to use, and then TestStand uses settings appropriate to the option "specific directory.

  I rechecked and it is quite reproducible.

  The phrase is: "\\Reports\\_ [] [] [] .xml'"

  But each time, the report file is generated by using the specific directory setting.

  Is there a solution for this?

  BTW, the "New Message" page on your site does not work in Opera 10.01 - I can not enter line breaks after the current line in the editor no HTML - line breaks go in front of the current line instead.

  I don't feel well in software TODAY. Entering the path expression of the report in HTML file is not my favorite activity!

  I'm a little confused as to what you mean. You have configured ReportOptions to specify the report by Expression file path? If so, the Locals.ReportOptions.DirectoryType property contains the string "SpecifyByExpression"? The directory 'C:\Documents and Settings\Temp\TestStand\Reports administrator' is where TestStand stores reports where the report should be saved on disk in the directory the Client's sequence file, but the file of the Client's sequence has not yet recorded on the disc.

  I followed the Locals.ReportOptions.DirectoryType and the Locals.ReportFilePath of the process template properties to check if they contain the appropriate strings.

  Determine the path of file report Expression is default SequentialModel.seq, where the expression is evaluated and the Locals.ReportFilePath property is set. You should check to see if this step is actually performed during your run and if the Locals.ReportFilePath property is on the right channel:

  CCleaner has found several times a file unused ext.   . It's just a simple point.  There is no place or hkey, just a point

  It cannot be removed and is the only one who finds it and has for a year (when I downloaded)

  I wouldn't worry at all here Ccleaner find unused file extensions. I suggest to ignore these, because that it happened a lot such Ccleaner found on my system where the file extensions actually has existing or were used.
  In some cases, Ccleaner has problems with the list of file extensions properly (list), so this is another reason why you should ignore this. After all, 'used' file extensions in the registry does not affect anything / harm at all. It would be worse if you have Ccleaner remove this so-called unused file extensions (which happens a lot btw), while extensions are not used. It would break their file associations.

  So, fix it when it is not broken :)

  What other types of file you want to delete? It would be enough siple to create a script to remove all unused files (i.e.: files that are not part of the RoboHelp.) Of course, if a topic is part of the project, but not used in the table of contents/IDX/other subjects, etc it is always used.

  I'm using the first Pro CC (mac) version. I have a project where I need to clear out unused files to make room.

  In the documentation, I often see references to Project menu header but I don't have it.

  Similarly, in the project window, I don't see for video or audio usage columns that are shown.

  Any suggestions (I feel that I have forgotten something obvious)? Thank you.

  If you use first Pro CC (7.0), and then the option to remove unused is under the Edit menu. In the project Panel, if you are in the display of the icon, then files will show the icon of video and/or audio, storm in the thumbnail of the file. If you have preview enabled (in the menu on the right wing) area and select a file, then it will also list how many times the file is used.

  TS201x help under "Specifying report file paths by Expression" talking with a number of macros various, but starts at the page that shows how to use FileGlobals also. When you specify the expression (... > specify the path file of report by Expression > Expression browser), I would like to combine macros with FileGlobals, but none of the FileGlobals are listed is available. The expression builder has access to the StationGlobals however, but not in the FileGlobals.

  Is there a workaround solution, or at least an explanation of this behavior?

  I think you found a bug in the documentation.  In the process of old models, you can use the FileGlobals of the process model as that sentence States.  Now that they moved to Plugins I don't think that this is no longer true.  You may need to go with a StationGlobal on it.

  Or you can cancel the ReportOptions recall and change the Parameters.ReportOptions.ReportFileSequentialModelExpression variable to include the information in your customer file.  So, basically, to define a placeholder in your expression in the dialog box options report.  Then in the callback to use the SearAndReplace method to replace the placeholder with the specific data.  It worked for me when I tested it.  The nice thing about this way, is that you don't have to manage the StationGlobals.

  I have downloaded several bad files - specifically vector illustration that I expected to be able to use/modify my needs.   The product Adobe Stock have no way (that I can find) to gold banner indicate the quality of a file.

  Hello

  I would like to see if I can hide unused dialog file extensions "save under". I think it would allow me to save a lot of time. I did some research on Google and have met discussions where people solve this problem but I can't find anything that addresses this issue for creative cloud. I use photoshop cc 2014 on OSX 10.8.5. I'm not able to update my OS or CC at that time (our service due to a font server compatibility issue).
