  Good description of what is really wrong and how to reproduce if possible. Details of what you were doing before: since I've updated my device (via the software updates in the Options) to 6.0 Bundle 3049, I am not able to access my internet e-mail account set up and was able to access before the update.   If you have deleted the e-mail of your device setup application, you will need to recover. You may be able to reinstall using the desktop software, or you may end up having to reinstall the entire operating system.   I received a text message that I needed to update my Blackberry Curve 8310 4.3 (I think).  I went to my computer and connected to blackberry.com and did the update.  The message then said that I had to update my Desktop Manager.  I've done both.  But she erased ALL my contacts and data.  No emails and worse still no address. My screen is completely different.  My Office Manager was not my old data.

  It was a bad day, has laid off and now all my contacts are gone.

  If someone knows a way to retrieve my contacts, I would be very grateful.

  It worked!  It's a good day, found the RPI buried on the disk and retrieved.  I must somehow be saved from a month ago.

  I just got my new Curve 9330 yesterday and I received a few calls and I can respond. I hit the Green send button or meet the blackberry button and try to select. Nothing works. I don't get the little hourglass spinning as other complaints have mentioned. It just rings and goes to the missed call.

  Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  Long story short - my new blackberry 9330 curve takes a faceplant on the course of Longboard pavement about 30 mph so making it almost completely useless.

  I thought that all that was done was the apparent defects so I ordered a new cover of LCD, case, bezel etc, but just my luck the LCD turns off on it today! I am struggling pay $100 and sprint send me a new or try and fix it myself or not.

  When you are looking for, you are looking for BlackBerry Curve 9300/9330 or looking for BlackBerry Curve 3 G?  If you have not tried the Curve 3 G yet, try it.  The challenge may be because this is the new model, parts may simply not yet be readily available.  In this case, it may be useful to contact some of the companies that offer these services, they are able to find you one anyway.

  Is it possible to restart the curve 9330 by pressing the keys rather than remove the battery?  Occasionally a program will not run until I reboot and with the Otterbox I, it's a pain to remove the battery.
