Update config change in the port of tns database backend

Hello

During the installation of HIS I used the default 1521 for the backend port. Now, I want to change to another number.
What configuration files must be updated. ?

I changed my tnsnames.ora, listener.ora & some under Search/base_domain/config xml files
After that, startall searchctl works fine, but the search pages does not work. I see below the error in the log.

Caused by: weblogic.common.ResourceException: listener refused the connection with the following error:
ORA-12505, TNS:listener is not currently of SID given in connect descriptor

Any help is greatly appreciated.

OK, let's go...

Crawler parameters are stored in the database. Connection to SQL * more like user eqsys (with the admin password ITS)

Run
exec eq_adm.use_instance (1)
Select cc_pvalue in eq$ crawler_config where cc_pname = 'CC_DATABASE. '

This will give you something like

((DESCRIPTION = (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST=mysesserver.us.oracle.com) (PORT = 1521)))
CONNECT_DATA = (Server = Dedicated) (service_name = its .us .Oracle .com .mysesserver)))

Updated, for example.

Update eq$ crawler_config set cc_pvalue = replace (cc_pvalue, ' 1521', ' 1523') where cc_pname = 'CC_DATABASE ';

Check it out and don't forget to validate.

Query parameters can be changed from the logical Web console app. If your server is mysesserver and your SES 7777 port, go to:
http://myserver:7777 / console
The connection username weblogic and the password is the same as the password of HIS.

Click Services (left) > JDBC > Data Sources
Click on EnterpriseSearchDS
Click on tab "connection pool.

Here you will see a URL that contains a connection string, including the SQL * Net port.

To change them, click on "Lock and edit ' at the top left, to change the value, click 'Save' at the bottom, and then 'activate changes' at the top left.

Finally, for the connection of Directors, you must update $OH/seach/webapp/config/search.properties

In version 11.2, the connection of directors should switch to use connection WLS thus pooling.

  • OEM may not happen to the database after changing the port on the database

    Hello OEM gurus!

    I had to change the port on a database(11g) from 1521 to 1526. I adjusted the listeners to include the SID (finapp1t) in the listener listening on the port of 1526. I removed the SID of the OEM (10g btw) and rediscovered. He has rediscovered success.

    Now, I get the following when I try to enter in the "spaces" or "tables" on the page of database FINAPP1T:

    Listener refused the connection with the following error: ORA-12505, TNS:listener knows not currently SID given in connect descriptor is used by the client connect descriptor: (description = (address = (host = urora2t.unioncentral.com)(protocol=tcp) (port = 1521)) (connect_data = (sid = finapp1t) (server = dedicated)))

    I started then clean the Agent on the server, but I get the same results.

    OEM seems to think that this FINAPP1T of the database always uses port 1521. I can connect to the database on port 1526 to my office so I know that the listener see this database.

    How can I say OEM update port?

    Thanks for your help!

  • After changing the port (1521 to 1525 in listener.ora and tnsnames.ora) OEM: the database is down

    Hello

    I'm installing Oracle Database 11 g 2 (11.2.0.4) on Oracle Linux 7.1.

    In short, what I'm trying to do now is changing the default port of 1521 to 1525.

    So I stopped the listener (lsnrctl stop) and then changed my listener.ora and tnsnames.ora:

    Listener.ora

    listener.ora # Network Configuration file: /u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1/network/admin/listener.ora

    # Generated by Oracle configuration tools.

    LISTENER =

    (DESCRIPTION_LIST =

    (DESCRIPTION =

    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = CIP)(KEY = EXTPROC1521))

    )

    (DESCRIPTION =

    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP (PORT = 1525))(HOST = localhost))

    )

    )

    ADR_BASE_LISTENER = / u01/app/oracle

    tnsnames.ora

    tnsnames.ora # Network Configuration file: /u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1/network/admin/tnsnames.ora

    # Generated by Oracle configuration tools.

    BI =

    (DESCRIPTION =

    (ADDRESS_LIST =

    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP (PORT = 1525))(HOST = localhost))

    )

    (CONNECT_DATA =

    (SERVER = DEDICATED)

    (SERVICE_NAME = bi)

    )

    )

    And then changed the local_listener:

    SQL > ALTER SYSTEM SET LOCAL_LISTENER = "(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST=localhost) (PORT = 1525))";

    SQL > ALTER the REGISTRY SYSTEM;

    Finally, I started the listener (lsnrctl start) again.

    Then I tried to connect using Oracle SQL Developer to the customer. The port of 1525 works perfectly well.

    The problem is, when I open the OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager), it says: "the database is down. Please specify the credentials of the host to access the restart and database diagnostic tools," which is like this: http://imgur.com/oKLPW65

    So I logged on the account of the host, and it shows that the database instance, listener and the agent is all down like this: http://imgur.com/Bzr84bz

    It seems that the port used by the OEM is always 1521.

    What should I do? Can someone help me solve the problem?

    Thanks in advance.

    UPDATE:

    After changing the emoms.properties & the targets.xml (thanks to Elisabeth), you will need to reconfigure dbconsole using emca.

    So what I'm doing is decreasing the config:

    $ emca - deconfig dbcontrol db-rest drop

    and then create again:

    $ emca - create config dbcontrol db-rest

    Voila.

    Hello

    Try to change the port numbers in the following files

    Don't port no 1521 to 1525

    $ORACLE_HOME /_SID/sysman/config/emoms.properties

    oracle.sysman.eml.mntr.emdRepPort = 1525 (before 1521)

    $ORACLE_HOME /_SID/sysman/emd/targets.xml

    (Before 1521)

    (Before 1521)

  • How to change the Port pool

    If we want to change the port pool after cloning of layers of DB and Apps, what is the best way to do... A single method, I know, i.e run the preclone on the target system and run config clone again once on the same target on both system layer of database and Application layer and change the pool of port...

    is there another method?

    How to change the host name of a component of Applications using AutoConfig Doc ID: 341322.1

    (a) to register the application of topology of net service model node
    (b) updated the context file Autoconfig
    (c) shutdown apps services
    (d) to run the automatic configuration service
    (e) change the name of the host at the OS level
    (f) restart the machine.
    (g) to start the application sercies

    In step 2, the context of the updated file, we will create the new context with the new hostname file... Here I have doubt, how come new context file will be created with the new host name, since it has not changed hostname at the level of the bone at this stage or before this step? AutoConfig will be CNET, because the Hostname of the Machine is different, because we change the hostname in the last step before

    Please clarify my doubt, if my understanding is wrong?

    In step 2, you run "perl adclonectx.pl" command. This script is used to clone your context file (i.e. generate a new), and it will ask you to enter the new host name. Once completed, you will have two files of context in the directory $APPL_TOP/admin:

    (1) _ .xml
    (2) _ .xml

    When you run the AutoConfig (step 4), you must provide the context new file generated (i.e. _.xml), and the model topology net services (which is clean, because we have already served there) will be filled with the new host name.

    why we cannot do the procedure below...

    (a) to enter the net service topology model applications pane
    (b) change the hostname at the os level
    (c) restart the machine.
    (d) update the context file with the new host name or create the new context file
    e run the automatic configuration
    (f) to start the services

    Please correct me if I'm wrong...

    I have not tried your procedure before, but I think it would work also.

    I hope it is clear now.

  • Manager profile - can I change the Port?

    Dear community,

    I have a little problem. A customer uses an OSX Server (to El Capitan. 10.11.2 + Server Version 5.0.15).

    The problem is, there is an Exchange Server that uses Port 443, so I can't use this port.

    My first test was a Port Forwarding of incoming: 8443 to macserver:443. I can reach the server, but when I log in, then it redirects me to the default 443 ssl port.

    I have checked the ssl httpd configuration, took a look in other apache-configs... changed ports 443 to 8443... but without success...

    How do you do that? Someone had the same problem?

    Thanks in advance

    No you can not change the ports using the Profile Manager. Even if you could change the ports at the end of the Profile Manager server, you have absolutely no chance of being able to change the equivalent settings built into iOS etc devices.

    Having two or more public IP addresses different so that the Exchange Server can have its own without conflict with the Profile Manager is an option that most of the larger organizations would use.

    It maybe by using a reverse proxy server could also be an option. The reverse proxy server would transmit 443 traffic to any server, it is by looking at the URL, for example exchange.domain.com:443 gets sent to this server and the mdm.domain.com:443 is passed to the other.

    NGINX is the main reverse proxy server software.

    PS. If it is not possible to overturn or transmit proxies the other ports used for profile, i.e. the NPP ports Manager, it is possible to reverse proxy standard web ports 80 and 443.

    As is the case with most computers/laptops these days, they do not come with good Vista disc to repair only the recovery disks.

    As your grave in the category above, download the ISO on the link provided and make a bootdisk of it.

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

    You can make a tool to restart system, System Restore, etc. with it.

  • I recently updated my computer (the thing has changed since the problem) and now my LAN is enabled at startup, even if I turn it off before you stop. Why? And how can I stop this?

    Since my last update, that is the only thing changed on my computer since it began, my lan port is always on at the start of Vista (Ultimate).   I'm on a laptop that has a LAN on board.  I have not had this problem NEVER before and have owned the laptop for about two years now.    The only thing that has changed on the computer's windows updates.

    I spent the length of a deactivation of the adapter before you turn off the laptop and tried to load a page that is not in the temporary memory, and get the usual page cannot be displayed.  I scanned for virus using AVG and Bell Internet Security scanner online McAfee.   I also ran Windows MSRT and found nothing unusual.   I also checked to see if the BIOS has been changed somehow, and nothing has changed.   Boot to LAN is disabled.   So I can only conclude that I have a virus has not been detected (but have no slowdowns or anything different in the security under gpedit.msc logs), or the more recent Windows Update changed some settings.

    But weak and this is every time I start up the computer from the local network is enabled.   If I let the cable disconnected at startup, it does not reconnect to the modem cable after rehabilitation and I have to disable and then re-enable the LAN to access the internet.

    Please let me know if anyone else has this problem or have heard of this and know a solution.

    Thank you.

    Leqs D.

    Hi Lequarius,

    ·          You receive an error message when you restart?

    Method 1

    I suggest that you download and install the updated drivers for the network adapter on the computer by visiting the card manufacturer or computer manufacturer website manually.

    Updated a hardware driver that is not working properly

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/update-a-driver-for-hardware-that-isn ' t-work correctly

    Method 2

    If the previous step fails then I would suggest that temporary you disable the security software installed on the computer and check if the problem persists.

    Disable the anti-virus software

  • How to manually change the ports for HTTP on the server vCenter Server

    Hello Experts,

    We have Windows Server 2008 SP2 machine where we v5.1 installed with other SSO components, inventory services, vCenter Server and Update Manager.

    So we went from SSO, the inventory services and vCenter Server fine however, vCenter Server has stopped working. While we were to modernize SSO, the service could not start after the upgrade and the recd suite error "Service VMware KDC service could start.". So, we found the article on the VMware site that said port 88 to cause the problem. To find out more by using the netstat command, we found vpxd.exe used port 88. That is why, we stopped this service and proceeded to the upgrade of the SSO. The upgrade is complete following the inventory service and vCenter Server. While we were upgrading vCenter Server, we found that port 88 was used for HTTP communication.

    So we wasted on the use of the port. The upgrade has been completed successfully, however, we can not connect to vCenter server using vSphere Client version 5.1 or 5.5. We even tried to start the VMware VirtualCenter server using the services.msc console and it failed.

    So we assume the port changes happened during upgrade of the SSO meets the HTTP port by vCenter server usage. We need help on how to manually change the ports for HTTP on the vCenter server.

    Suggestions forward. This problem is with the production servers.

    Thank you

    Karan

    This has been resolved... port has been changed manually and works very well.

    But just run sudo/usr/bin/vmware-install vmware-wsx u

    and then reinstall thke bundle does not give the possibility to specify the port - I got the first time I ran the bundle.

    In which directory is the spec WSX port number and I can change it?

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

    This was solved by uninstalling WSX 1.02 (dereconfiguring I should say) and then installing the beta version 1.1 (allowing NoScript OK access to localhost).  Always the possibility to change change the port was not found, but 8888 worked if the thread is unanswered. .  I would like to move this thread to the WSX forum but it's fairly inactive last I checked.

    WSX login screen looks better, but it will take me a while to go through the changelog.

    Hey Buddy,

    Could you please try to modify the configuration file under/etc/vmware/wsx?

    I update the port 8888 to 8901 and restart the service. Then I can access through http://localhost:8901 wsx.

    I tried on Fedora 18 x 32.

    I hope this can help.

  • Change the ports after installation

    Hi all

    quick question...

    I tried to search for him here and online, but without success.

    I'm running an ESXi host 5.0 for a school project.

    I managed to host using vCenter Server.

    During the installation, I do not change the ports, remote access port is still set to 443.

    Now, I want to connect via vSphere client on another location via ip address: 443.

    The problem is that my ISP does not allow users to redirect the ports under 1024.

    Today is my question, is it possible to change the port number after the installation, or do I have to re - install the vCenter server and configure during installation?

    Working through webclient is not an option for me, I want to continue working in the vSphere client and for the presentation, I need to show some of the plugins I use.

    I hope someone can help.

    Thanks in advance,

    Jordy

    Jordy, I think that you will need to reinstall it - are not so difficult, and will be the best way to do it. There should be a way without having to reinstall, but this may require additional tweak and changes to the config file.

  • Problem of change for the RMI port

    Hello!

    I changed to 12333 11333 RMI port number and there seems to be a problem to connect RMI and planning. Specifically, when you try to use ODI, he says that it cannot connect to planning.

    RMI starts ok, I can telnet 12333.

    I think I should change some configuration file to indicate to planning that the RMI is now on 12333, but I could find any file with this information...

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you!

    What version are you on? In 11.1.2.X, you should find a file under EPM_ORACLE_HOME/common/RMI/VersionNumber/HyperionRMI_Port.properties

    Updated the port here in planning number select Administration / property management / system properties
    Add a new parameter COMMON_RMI_PORT and save.

    Restart the RMI services and planning.

    Research planning in the document RMI Server Port: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E17236_01/epm.1112/epm_install_start_here_1112200.pdf
