  Hello

  I just bought a new laptop that comes with Windows 7. I'm looking to get CS4 Production Premium as soon as POSSIBLE because I have a lot of work to do at Christmas. Everywhere that I looked for it (Amazon, Studica Lambda Tek) they seem to suggest that it is only compatible with XP and Vista. Is this the case? I thought that the result of the student are the same as their rules to use commercial, but is - it possible that new versions of the normal suites are compatible with Windows 7, but they have not updated the student those?

  There is no Update on the CS4 for Windows 7 compatibility. All versions are Windows 7 compatible.

• CS4 production Premium - serial number rejected

  Hello

  I have a license of CS4 production Premium volume, which I am installing on a system of Win 7 32. I downloaded the software and everything is fine until I put in the serial number... which was rejected. I got nowhere with the support which directed me to "forums". I was told that the serial key / number series is volume license. Can anyone help?

• Try reinstalling Adobe Creative Suite 4 on my iMac, but can not go beyond "Please insert CS4 Production Premium disk 2 to continue Installation"

  I was cleaning 5 K retina on my old iMac to upgrade to the new iMac and I uninstalled Adobe CS4. Later, I decided that I wanted to reinstall and transfer it to the new computer. So I jumped in the installation discs and disc one loaded and executed without problem, the ejected disc and "Please insert CS4 Production Premium disk 2 to continue Installation" window pop up. So I removed the disc one enter disc 2 and click on the "continue" button and nothing happens. Anyone got any solutions on how to fix this?

  Jeff, thank you.  I couldn't update any program in CS5.  It turned out that I had to do a 'update manual".  Not sure why it was different, but it worked.

• Impossible to install cs4 product premium

  I'm having problems when trying to install product Premium CS4 on my computer windows 8.1 hp pavilion laptop.  Whenever I try to install, I get:

  I bought this suite and electronically downloaded and used the series gave me a few years ago. I have a newer computer that I am trying to transfer the rest to. I didn't have Photoshop CS4 installed on my laptop older (I not need other programs of the suite). I've disabled the program and tried to reinstall Photoshop CS4 on my new laptop, but when I used the original serial number given to me, it has not been accepted.   Thank you. I just thought of it. I forgot decompress all files before starting the installation. Serial number worked this time as well.

  I know that I can be out of luck, but I bought the software when I got my new Mac. I have all the original packaging, but instead of the normal serial number on the back of the DVD, there are a series of numbers preceded of 'SLTC.

  is it possible to install using that number?

• Impossible to validate the Production Premium CS4 update

  I bought CS4 Production Premium by using a path that allowed a discount based on my prior purchase of Design Standard CS4. Screen that validates my copy of Production Premium (it's a download) requires the serial number of my previous qualifying package, but the drop down menu does not list any choice except for the CS3 packages. Then, of course, my Design Standard serial number does not work and I am only able to use the trial version. All the technical staff of the Adobe seems inaccessible until October 14, after their upgrade of the system is complete. Can anyone offer any suggestions?

  I had CS4 Production Premium and installed yesterday. And installed everything except PPro CS4 and it's functional components. At any time, I try to install it alone or with all the programs it says an error has occurred and it will fail to install. Help?

  Avira is disabled

  the firewall is disabled

  all applications are closed.

  You know that we are able to help before reaching post # 20.

  Disable all antivirus, antispam software and the like, including Windows Defender. Uninstall all Adobe. Run the Clean Script Utility 2 or 3 times just to be sure (look here: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/406/kb406241.html) then reinstall and run all the updates. If this still doesn't work, post a screenshot of Process Explorer (look here: Utilities of Sysinternals ) with all of the running processes.

  While you're at it, consider adding at least 1 physical eSATA disk but 2 best, your system (assuming a laptop because of the mobility of the ATI version).

  Don't think that you can run the two Bridge CS4 and CS5 at the same time (even with photoshop).  In addition, Bridge CS5 cannot read the cache for Bridge CS4.  We must build its own.

  If you Bridge CS5 to load automatically at startup (default), it runs in the background so that you cannot run CS4.  To disable this feature, it is in the Advanced preferences.
