  If possible, try to download another browser like Chrome or Firefox, what sometimes happens in particular when downloading large files, most of the cases during the duration, there will be a server / request timeout issues or browser when the browser are unable to download large files completely.

  Steps to clear the Tmp folder:

  (1) right click on the Finder icon and select 'Go - To Folder' option.
  (2) you will get a text box, type in the following command and then press the 'return '.

  / TMP

  It will open the TMP file. Trash all the content inside.

  Let me know if you are still unable to download files completely.

  I am running OS X Yosemite on MacBook Pro. I had installed a creative suite of adobe premium on my laptop. Worked well for a month. The program Illustrator began acting yesterday and did not. I tried almost everything to make it work again. I decided to try to uninstall and reinstall the creative suite. The programs would fail before that I can proceed with the deactivation of the program itself. Then, the frustration of what to try next, I tried to uninstall manually by dragging applications creative after the trash (I know now it was a big mistake!).  I then tried to reinstall the programs via the application cd, but when the cd is inserted, the automatic installation does not. When I try manually click the installation folder, the icon bounces in my dock and then does not work. Please help me to reinstall my creative suite from adobe. Thank you in advance!

  CS3 is very old. It's probably limit for execution of Yosemite. The product is well beyond end of life. He will not receive any support, or updates.

  Essentially, you're on your own. It might help to restore a previous version of Mac OS X. Or seek the plan student/teacher of creative cloud.
