• Where is the record update form wizard in PCOC?

  Trying to follow the online help, but it does not concern CBWMS.   A tutorial that I found for CS6 suggests that it is in the instructions > Data Objects > update record > record but in ACPE update form wizard, there is no "Data Objects" option in the Insert menu.

  By the way, I'm looking for the wizard not update directly the behavior which I know is in the server behaviors panel.

  EDIT: Just talk to Adobe 'support' of discussion about this and they have been absolutely useless. The directed me to the article that I have highlighted above as being for CS6, which is not useful because "Data Objects" is not in the Insert menu in ACPE, and when I said they gave me this link to try: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/

  Seriously?  It's the best I can hope Adobe support?  It was clear that the cooperative was just search on Google for answers as opposed to actually know the software they represent.  Really disappointing support.

  Does anyone know of a website or a manual of reference on dreamweaverCC?  each example and tutorial online focus on older versions of Dreamweaver.  Some brainiac at Adobe thought, why not change the whole freaking interface around, so nobody knows where anything is no longer with the new version... & ^ $@ ^ #$^^

  Can someone help me with the steps to follow to create a form of update?

  Adobe has nothing on the topic and all the tutorial on youtube all the older version of the use of Dreamweaver.  Since I use the CC version none of what is shown online works since the process and methods used are depricated now cc.

  What I try to do is as follows:

  I have a site where you can go to tenants and connection

  now what I want to do is as soon as they connect I get to a page where their current profile information and give them the opportunity to update their information.  I already have the configuration of the register, login and Session.  What I have to do is insert an update form, where I send tenant after they loged. I have already created page and the user of the session attached to it.

  The problem that I am facing is that I can't find the tools in dreamweaver to build my page.  I know what I need to do to create my page, the only thing is that I can't find the tools to do it in dreamweaver.  "It's like fixing a pipe leaking, I know what I have to do to fix this, I just need to tighten the fitting but to do this I need a wrench - but where the hell is the pipe wrench?"

  CS6 was [insert update form Wizard] - which no longer exists in dreamweaver CC.  It has been replaced by the server behavior update record.

  I have a Recordset already made, but there seems to be a missing button on the form, because I can't do anything with the form of server behavior update record.  I can only select the data in a table and there are two option 'Value' and 'Submit.' Submit a [none] (which you cannot change and "present as" is grayed out and I can't select any option.)  I click OK and get a critical error, saying: 'Please specify at least a value for one of the column' but I can't specify anything because the form darn gives me the possibility to change anything or specify a value.

  fixed a problem.  I had someone come.  There are two files that had to be moved in my repertoire.  Do not know exactly which file they were and I don'twant know... lol he only took a pack of six beers and a handshake to have soemone come and fix my problem.  I can now start working.  Crazy!

  This happens on all browsers when I want to insert a new record. It takes a lot of time to load the page and then it finally gives me an error I stated above. I've never had a problem before. I thought maybe I installed the wrong application, so I uninstalled and reinstalled the DW CS3. I still get the same problem. I got so frustrated that I formatted my makeup thinking hard drive I have an adware or spyware, so be careful, I formatted my computer and installed everything with a new facility and again, I get this error. My test server that I use is now called WAMP. I never had problems with it before using DW MX 2004 or when I used the trial of DW 8. So now I'm out of options. Y at - it a glitch in the new CS3 Web Premium that includes DW CS3 update software and if there is, is there a download. Can anyone help me, please.

• How to use MD5 the password on the update form field

  Hi all - I have a form of update that pulls in a field that contains the password that is encryped in MD5 format. I want the user to see the original password and be able to change, and then save it using MD5. I used the Update Wizard to create the code for this form is standard code. Any ideas?

  The answer is in two parts:

  I know that people have asked similar questions, but I was not able to do this work. I'm doing some fairly simple math (addition, multiplication) in an application. I have 2 fields (VALUE_A, VALUE_B). I can get the addition and multiplication work in the interactive report, but I also need that it works correctly in the form of update. I also need update form to work dynamically so that if the values are changed, the correction calculated response is shown immediately on the update form and then reflected in the interactive report. I tried the dynamic action, with and without javascript without result. Any help would be appreciated.

  I use a model defined in the ActionScript code that refers to a gateway, DAO and beans that are extracted variations of a ColdFusion example generated by the wizard. I am able to release and to see that data comes back fine from the remote call, and my < model > object data is correct, because I use Alert.show () to see. However, even if the data in the mxml model are visible and correct, is not to update the fields that are related to IT... with one exception...
  
  In fact, it works if I hit "Refresh" browser after loading at once. However there is another issue with the update, as the history.js file is apparently causing the page to keep refreshing until randomly, it stops or stops on a javascript error ["line: 494-'null ' is null or not an object]. To the point where it stops, I am able to pull up data without a problem.
  
  I use a Flex Builder "generated by the Wizard" project of ColdFusion as a reference and the only difference I see is that they use a WindowManager to bring up the form with the data in it. I hope that's not the problem, but before I'll rebuild my application in this way, I'd love to hear if anyone else has had a similar experience, or it recognizes my problem.

  I just tested on FireFox and got the same results. It loads only after a refresh.

  I have a wizard generated shape tab and I have to fill two columns last updated by and last Date of update.

  I have a horrible time to do something which should be easy enough.

  I created a page process:

  But the columns are not updated.

  The primary key column and the primary key column appears in do not appear that's why I think the columns are not updated.

  So when a new row is added or an existing row is updated when the user clicks on the button submit these two columns need to be updated.

  Can someone help me get this to work?

  Wow! Thanks for checking back!

  I had finally it works. Sorry I didn't update the post.

  I used the trigger approach, although I do not like but it is.

  What I did try to find out which of these two areas were the origin of the problem. So said the two fields in the query and ran the page and update the page and there is no error of course since I commented on the columns.

  Then I've uncommented a column, repeated updates, and worked, and this column has been updated.

  I uncommented the other column, repeated that updates and work again and again update the two columns.

  I have NO IDEA why. Somehow something has been corrupted, and comment and uncomment the columns set.

  I have no change to relax during this process. The relaxation I posted earlier is the same code.
