  Sounds like something in the update causes a conflict with your video driver or change the resolution settings.
   
  The first thing to do to solve the problem is to try to install each of the updates one at a time instead of let Windows Update do several updates together.  If you're lucky, the problem can not ride again.  If so, you'll know at least update is the cause of the problem.

  If the problem persists, try right click on an empty area of your desktop and select properties to open the display properties dialog box.  Select the settings tab.  Look to see if the screen is correctly identified and if the resolution seems correct.  If you spot something wrong, change to the correct setting.  If everything looks correct, you can try to change the resolution to see if that can solve the problem.

  You can also check the website of the manufacturer of your graphics card to see if they have an updated display driver.  Updates of the operating system only sometimes work correctly if you have the latest version of the drivers for the various components.

  If all else fails, you can uninstall the update one that is causing the problem and mark do not show you this update again in Windows updates.   Doing so will be considered a last resort - especially if the update in question is one of the security updates.

  It would be best to uninstall CS5 and CS6 before installing creative Cloud applications as previous versions are restored from a backup who could cause problems.

  Follow the procedure below:

  • Remove all entries that has name of adobe. Then close the Textedit, it will Autosave.
  • Make sure that there is no entry of Adobe on the inside.
  • Then copy and paste the Hosts file in folder etc.
  • We replace the modified hosts file that we had copied on the desktop with the original Hosts file inside the folder etc.
  • When you are prompted, the authentication by password Mac,
  • Be sure to select the option Replace ...
  • Once you have replaced the Hosts file, double click on it again and check if the Hosts file is free of Adobe entries.

  Then try to activate the CS 6 apps using the serial number, it shud work.

  So the only applications using Bridge on your machine is then PES. If you want to remove Bridge CS4, you will need to uninstall then the PSE 8 Mac. During the uninstallation of PSE 8 Mac, Bridge CS4 will also get deleted.

  So yes this is happening to me also. I read a number of discussions with other users having the same problem. I looked at some of the fixes people have proposed but nothing fits my situation. I wonder what is the best solution? I saw 1 million proposed solutions to this until now and frankly I just don't have time to try alone. I'm also worried if I update something as a driver I could screw up something. Update the drivers? Find corrupt fonts? Update of the OS? Disable certain fonts? Disable plugins? I'm 99% sure that it is a matter of police. I installed approximately 4500 fonts a week ago and now it hangs everywhere.   If the problem started to occur after installing the fonts, it seems that the fonts are the problem, which is not something that Photoshop can do necessarily something on.   After uninistalling cc, you should vacuum by the use of the Adobe Creative Cloud cleaning tool to solve installation problems, restart your computer and then install cs6.

  you might try starting the vacuum now (to clean the cc) after installing cs6 to see if that helps.
