  Is it missing some updates, then the windows update will install these updates before you install the service pack. Without having to install these updates, you can not proceed directly with the installation of the service pack through windows update.

  Apologies this duplicates a similar question, but I'm having trouble trying to update my post above that the site keeps disconnecting me!

  I am running Win7 SP1 and I had a problem for a while and just be round to sorting it.

  According to my information, I am running Acrobat Pro XI 11.0.07. Yet, so Windows opens when I start, I always get a message saying: he is an Acrobat Pro XI (11.0.07) update. I run the update but it always ends by saying that it was impossible to install. However when I look at my CC Update Manager I see that acrobat is apparently to date (version 11.0.07). When I try to run the update since Acrobat itself, it tells me that there is an update (11.0.07!) However, neither Manager was updated or put up-to-date trying via Acrobat can see the new 11.0.10 update!

  Until I start uninstalling someone ideas because I get messages that do not seem to recognize the running version is 11.0.07 and no method seems to see the latest version at all (and I don't want to uninstall and find that I can't reinstall...)

  In fact, I thought that laterally and ran to the installation of 'repair acrobat installation' under 'help' (don't know why I thought that first...) After I restarted the updater ran through the installation and it is now updated. I hope he got some bug was obstructing the update!

  I installed the Windows updates today, and after installing and restarting, the saturation of the color on my monitor is out of line. There is intense color saturation and it made all my files photo as well.

  You should look through the updates installed to see if there was an update to the video card.  I would then check with the manufacturer of your video card for the latest driver.  If you just updated to the most recent and feel it affected the color then you can restore the previous driver.  Then you can contact the manufacturer of the video card on the driver and they know the issue and see if they are still aware and have a fix.   My Windows 7 has been giving me some problems lately. I get messages that "this computer is not running genuine Windows" (0x8004fe21). I'm running a genuine version of windows, and when I check the properties of my computer, it tells my that I have in fact validated my copy of Windows 7.

  I also had a problem when new updates to Windows Update settle not and after a few google searches, I have concluded that this must have been caused by bad KB3004394 update.

  It has been suggested that I deleted this update, but it did not show anywhere under installed updates.
  It has also been suggested that I downloaded the patch of "quick fix" KB3024777, which is supposed to remove the faulty update.
  I did, and since then, the issue of windows updates has been resolved. Again installing the updates of windows, but I still get messages I'm not authentic Windows.

  In addition, I tried all sorts of things, I found in online forums, but I don't remember exactly what those who were, because most of them were things that I didn't understand.

  Maybe you guys can help. Thank you in advance!

  On the site of drivers Dell it says version A05 update for my system WHAT BIOS is recommended. The version on my PC is A02 so its quite a bit obsolete.

  If I update my BIOS it will ruin future Windows 8.1 relocations. Because it is an OEM system, I don't have installation media... I have reinstall it from the original image. Now when I do a clean reinstall Windows 8.1 is installed and Windows Activation is done automatically. Activation is related to the BIOS.
