  I have Windows 7-64 bit version and I normally have updates of Windows set to warn me when there are new updates, but do not install them - let me decide.

  I see 21 updates and now it is stuck on just that. I even set to automatically install updates, restarted the computer and tried this again once and no dice... part of these updates is my Windows Defender, which I use for anti virus, so I would really like to get it working again.

  Does anyone have an idea on what is current, or does not, as is the case? Thanks in advance... Oh, by the way, the green part of this bar is moving from one side to the other... so he said to me that he is not locked.

  To be installed.before that SP2 can be installed, SP2 must SP1.

  So if you have SP2 installed, SP1 is already installed.

  Click Start > right click on computer > left click on properties > see if you have Vista 32 bit or Vista 64-bit installed.
