  Welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums.

  This error is caused by a third-party application on the BlackBerry. This application will need to be removed and then you can re-installed games.

  To find out which application is causing the problem go to/Library/Application Support / BlackBerryDesktop / Logs and open the daily log on the Mac.

  And you will find a line in the newspaper that said: abandonment of the install because of unmet dependencies for packages: ((Application name))

  That lists the name of the application.  Then you can remove this application from BlackBerry.  Let me know if you have any other questions.

Is this software integrated with the Desktop Manager, or is it a separate thing?

  Not necessarily. I'm a tech person, so I'd rather have the latest greatest version of ang of the software I use. So if you are happy with 4.3 and it is not crashing or causing errors so feel free to continue using it.

  You can always try 4.7 and if you don't like it uninstall and reinstall 4.3

  Updated the OS on my 8530 using the Desktop Manager software version 5.0.1 pc and the usb to the phone connector. I started at 11:00 this morning. It's now almost 15:00.

  It always shows 346 528 modules in the device software download part of the process. At this point, it's a failure... But he said not to disconnect your device... or other.  What now? Very disappointing.

  I tried the update site as you said but made the mistake of direct download instead of dl to pc and then to the phone as you said. Then... Well, I found the best way yet: I'll take it to the Verizon store and ask them to do every time. I'm a pretty grumpy guy, being a programmer and all except...   For your help with question 1, I don't think I have a go uninstall, and then reinstall the device software.  I think this is the current version of the software and I agree with it.

  Question No. 3, both selections were already set to 'yes' and again, was not automatically open images.

  I think it's something I won't have to deal with that.  If I can find some difficulty then good, then that's fine as well.

  1. I recommend upgrades because usually there is something known to improve the device.

  However, that said, if your BlackBerry works well and have no problems, there is no need to do so.

  2. ALWAYS do your own backup first of all, by using the Desktop Manager > backup.

  3. the warning device activation is there because on certain BES accounts, a password of the BES Admin activation may be necessary to revisit the BES. If you are a personal user, there is nothing to worry about and you can ignore this.

• Update of the marshmallow blackBerry Smartphones AT & T private OTA were frozen and will not accomplish

  The AT & T OTA update for the marshmallow has not completed on my phone.  I let it run for about 2 hours and then a message appeared that I intrepretated like done, but it was not installed.

  The updates will appear a message with two boxes in gray:

  "Check for Updates".

  "Continue update"

  'BACK' is below which rejects the window.

  The phone seems to work fine with 5.1.1 always active.

  SO, can I recover from this and get the OTA installation or what I need to do a factory data reset or do I have to install the automatic charger for AT & T on Crackberry?

Update Facebook on the blackberry world app store. the last update will wipe your app software and download new one that NEVER let you use the app. It will redirect you to the Web site using the internet connection. Ive just said it will happen also to whats app soon. BlackBerry decided not to support the apps more. now, personally I only don't look now and again so no biigy for me but I'm not sure who would use much of the data or would it be the same amount.
