Update Windows7 32 bit WIndows7 64 bit. What to do with my Adobe CC applications?

Hello

I get to level my work PC from Windows7 32 bit for Windows7 64 bit. Our technician COMPUTER told me that he needs to reformat the entire disk to do this, which will of course delete all my Adobe CC applications. How can I handle this when you restart the machine with the "new" 64 bit version of Windows7?  I don't have some files on my drive C, the rest is hosted on our internal server. I can back up the Lightroom catalog on my correct C drive to a backup drive.

What happens when I go to download applications Adobe CC yet?

Thaks for all help this issue.

Best regards

Steve

  • Windows 7 64 bit receives updates for 32 bit

My new laptop runs Windows 7 64 bit and I check the available updates automatically downloaded before I install them.  I noticed that some updates specify 32-bit... and when I read more about the Microsoft Windows 7 update, it shows the same update also for 64 bit and the file is a slightly different name.

Example today: KB982726 update has been downloaded and has written for 32-bit and the name of the file is "office2010-kb982726-fulfile-x 86-glb.exe" but the KB982726 that says for 64 bit has a file name of "office2010-kb982726-fulfile-x 64-glb.exe.

Most of the updates, I've been automatically downloaded do specify 64-bit, but I wonder if I need to start checking all the 32-bit downloads sent to me for a version 64 bit and install instead, manually.

When there is a "64-bit version" of an update... and... since I get other updates to 64 bit, why do I automatically would receive the "32-bit version" of these updates?

If Office 2010 32-bit (x 86) is installed, and 64-bit Office 2010 is NOT installed, updates are appropriate. ~ Robear Dyer (PA Bear) ~ MS MVP (that is to say, mail, security, Windows & Update Services) since 2002 ~ WARNING: MS MVPs represent or work for Microsoft

Once the Fixit has been downloaded and the system is started in the pure State, check that the native Windows Firewall is now on if a 3rd party firewall has been used previously. Now run the Fixit and choose the default mode. Restart once it's done and see if the system can be connected to the update servers. If he can't, then rerun the Fixit and choose aggressive mode. Turn it back on when he finished the race and updates.

I suggest before you stop and install the updates, disconnect from the Internet, first.

  • How we replace 32-bit Firefox 3.6 with a 64-bit "current version"?

Because my computer is a 64 bit system, I want to replace as many 32-bit and 64-bit compilations, as much software as I can, give up executables that can not be replaced.

Assuming that Mozilla has released a compilation of 64-bit Firefox, how to identify it and get it?

"Firefox Setup 8.0.1.exe" tell me if it installs 32-bit or 64-bit instead. The automagic updates Firefox sometimes wants to replace the 32-bit version 3.6 with a 32-bit "current version" is not a real update to 3.6.

One of the reasons that I kept running version 3.6, it is that there is no compelling reason to replace a 32-bit application that is installed with a few 'upgrade' in the same 32-bit application on this computer. In fact, if Mozilla down the tithe and a 64-bit compilation which is willing to maintain, I'll move the Chrome.

Sorry, that Mozilla has not yet released a version of Windows 64 bit Firefox. And what I read on the 64 - bit versions tested in recent months, the current 32-bit versions of Firefox are faster.

  • What is happening with Windows Update you will need to install a new update to check for updates?

What is happening with Windows Update from 18/01/2016 When I find out Windows Update in Control Panel, he said, with a big yellow sign warning, "install new Windows Update software to check updates. You must first install an update from Windows Update. Your automatic update settings will not change. To install the updated Windows Update will automatically close and reopen. »

Only Microsoft would think of this UPDATE TO SEE THE UPDATE.

When you click on install, it starts running AND running and checking for updates and there is no display. It must be download them?

When I go to shut down the computer, there is a big yellow exclamation on the Start button that says that Windows Update will install updates before its stop point. So it takes a while to stop.

I also noticed that in Windows Task Manager > process I have an iexplore.exe process * 32 running 120, 600 KB.

It stopped when I changed the Windows Update option stop the download and installation.

The computer is running very slow and erratic.

I just reinstalled Windows 7, so I have to do all the updates.

  • GTIS-90086 'Lack of 64 bit support' error downloading Adobe Air application questions

    Hello

I have an Adobe Air based application which I previously downloaded using the iTunes connect application loader.

Today, I get the error: ERROR ITMS-90086 'Missing Support 64-bit' iOS apps submitted to the App Store must include 64-bit support and built with iOS SDK 8 or later.

It's weird because the 64-bit requirement has existed for some time and I use the same build method has been accepted previously.

I tried the building without the extensions to exclude third party extensions. I have updated to the latest version of the Air SDK and use new certificate/provisioning profiles.

    Any ideas, what has changed?

What follows is a Snow Leopard system which is 32-bit by default.  You will notice that kernel_task 'Genre' snow leopard filed did nto say (64-bit).  If you have successfully changed your system from Lion to start the 32 - bit, then your kernel_task shouldn't say (64-bit).
