Updated for CS5 to CC?
I been using PS CS5 for a long time and you want to finally updated to at CC, there will be a sharp learning curve? My styles, templates, palettes, etc. will always be compatible? Thank you!
I think you will find some CC to be very simple if you are accustomed to CS5. There are many new features, but the fundamentals of Photoshop CS5 were well established and not much has changed since. Your PSD files will be always open, and I don't see why there should be a problem with the palettes of colors and patterns. You can however find that certain actions have stopped working because the location of the commands has changed. Similarly, some third-party plugins may need to update, this often involves just a new installer, but sometimes it takes a new version. The look of the application has changed, I think for the better, but not everyone thinks that. You also get the added bonus of having the program works with screens of type retina which is a major drawback, if you have anything less than the CC as all the menus are to small to be readable.

Updates are not related to series numbers, so you must have done something compared to try to use an upgrade rather than an update. Adobe not revise older versions of their software to adapt to the latest hardware/devices. They create/sell new versions of their software for it. If you subscribe to the Cloud at some point you shouldn't have a problem with the software becomes obsolete.

As I downloaded the updates for CS5, the process stopped with a request that I close "Bridge.exe" what is this? I did a search on my computer and couldn't find it. The update will not proceed without my doing this. What should I do?
If you are using windows, open the Task Manager and check the running processes.
If mac, check your activity monitor.

What is the last update for CS5.1?
I'm having some trouble with Photoshop CS5.1 crash and wanted to make sure I had the latest update to this version! Also, I did not update my MacOSX because I realized that if I went over Lion 10.7.5 the new operating system would not support my version of Photoshop. Thoughts?

Is there an Adobe Updater for CS5?
I remember when I used to use CS4 products, all I had to do was go to what is called "adobe updater" and it will check for all possible updates for my CS4 products. Now with CS5, I can't find an update for that. I have to go to the Adobe download page and manually update each application individually. Y at - it an automatic update of some sort for the CS5 products? And how can I access it?

I know about the entire suite, but you can access an automatic update in Photoshop itself via the Help menu (in particular, help - updates...). By the wording that you get when you do this, I would say that this update handles more than just Photoshop:
