  JDev 11.1.2.3.0 use SVNKit 1.3.5 Client.
  So the SVN connections should work. Check under 'Tools'-> 'Préférences' node 'Versioning '. There you can set some properties. To connect to an existing SVN server, you must create a connection to SVN under 'View'-> 'Team'-> "Versioning Navigator".

• Cannot use JDeveloper 11.1.2 1.7 Subversion?

  When I try to go on a workspace of my Subversion repository, I get the message
  svn: path '... "seems to be part of Subversion 1.7... Please update your Subversion (SVNKit) client to use this working copy.
  
  I am running JDev 11.1.2.1.0. Under Tools, preferences, Versioning, Subversion, I see that "Native Client (jni, version 1.6.15) is selected.
  
  There is no update available under help, check updates.
  
  Can it really be true that the last JDev does not support the latest SVN here more than 6 months after its release? If you encounter this problem, how are you around?

  You should be able to improve SVNKit independently JDeveloper. These instructions are for JDeveloper 10 g, but should work for 11g too: http://technology.amis.nl/2009/05/05/upgrade-jdeveloper-10g-subversion-client/

  There has been a lot of problems using svn with dw, and I know many people who have stopped trying to operate correctly.

  As much as I know dw will not work with newer versions of svn (over 1.5), and even then, there are a lot of problems, a possible solution is to try subweaver (at- http://code.google.com/p/subweaver/ ), as this has solved some of the problems associated with the use of tsvn dw environment.

• DataModeler 4.1.2.895 and Subversion

  We have just updated to DataModeler 4.1.2.895. When you open a model under control subversion, we have the problem, that some functions no longer work in the browser, for example, extend the primary key of a table in the physical model. Ditto for the columns, foreign keys and so on. If we do the same thing on a model not under subversion control, fine. Everything works correctly when you open the same model under subversion control in DataModeler 4.1.1.888. The problem is independent of the size of the model.

  We run the version with java included 64 and windows 7 pro 64-bit.

  Any ideas?

• The Dreamweaver CC incredibly slow when using subversion!

  Wow! I just install Subversion (visualsvn.com) on a dedicated server on my network.

  When I turn it on for my sites in DW, it seems to work.

  But when I switch from one site to another (using the dropdown under files), he hangs for 5 minutes and told me that DW does not. If I wait, he ended up rocking on the other site, and I'm on my way.

• Problems pending changes (Subversion) - 12.1.3

  We have a problem with JDeveloper 12.1.3 integrated with our Subversion server.

  Most of the time when we update some files these files go in the tab of the candidates and not the outgoing tabs. I search for a known bug, but I found nothing. You have the same problem? Restart JDeveloper to resolve this (bring the files updated in the outgoing tab)...

  I have not seen this bug. However, I suspect that it is just an another svn between svnkit (jdev) and svn server version mismatch. If these versions do not work together you see this kind of problems.

  You can try to obtain more information by creating a local repository to a new workspace rest of jdev and modify a file. Regarder watch in the .svn folder, then open the format file, which should show the format used in your version of svnkit.

  Then check the same file in a workspace where you see the problem. If the numbers do not match, you have a version of incompatible svn server.

  I'm trying to update my local working copy with changes committed to SVN by other users. I see the team/Subversion/update working copy is grayed out.

  I do not want new copy to order every time or crush in existing location

  I am able to update my working copy and get changes now in the current window. I have to click on incoming changes, and then click Refresh to get the changes.

  I'm going through the tutorials Marci Young collaborative development (3.1) and reading the documentation SDDM using SVN and do not find the answer to a question very simple.  If I save my first new design (designer import) into the local working directory and add the design to the control version, is the remote directory automatically archived?  What should I check back out before importing the data dictionary?  I'm used to version control that indicates if you have extracted a drawing or model or not.  How will I know if the version is checked out?  Do I need to check it out again until I see pending changes?  And what I need to check the drawing after each commit?

  (1) you will see once in the copy of local work (WC) and after that you can edit, validate and update the working copy - with pending changes, not need another departure

  (3) lock is just a revealing indicator to other users that you want to work exclusively on this resource - which does not mean that someone else can't steal the lock. In our daily work, we do not lock - using merge if conflict is displayed

  Subversion deals with Word and Excel documents as binary files, which means that it cannot do anything useful with their merger. The best approach to deal with these types of files in a project of modules is to ensure that a developer has exclusive access to a document when they edit.

  Policy modeling can help with this by using an exclusive lock as a default behavior when integrated with Subversion.

  I'm looking for some plugin for Subversion (SVN) in JDeveloper 11.1.1.6.0.When, I will check the updates in JDeveloper, I can find an extension for monitoring of Subversion, but not a Kit of SVN.
  SVN extension is the version of JDeveloper 10 g. Please help me understand if on installing JDeveloper 11 will cause a problem?

  Hi Nic,

  'expired' means that there are changes in the repository that are in conflict with local changes.
  Make pending changes window visible using "view > team > pending changes (subversion). Update the incoming changes and resolve conflicts in the changes incoming if there are listed and updated the working copy
  If there is no incoming listed changes then just update working copy

• Migration repository subversion

  I just moved my work to a new laptop computer.  I have set up in the new computer and transferred subversion repository from the old to the new computer using the svnadmin dump and load.  However, when I connected my sites in Dreamweaver (CS5.5) to the new standards, it does not seem to recognize any of the older versions.  When I select 'Version Control' in the menu, the option "Show revisions" is grayed out.  So essentially, all files are treated as new files.  In other words, my migration from the repository has not worked as I can't compare my files for older versions.

  One possible reason is that my CF directory has changed.  In the old laptop, my files are stored in C:\websites\cf9\sitename, while in the new laptop, I use C:\websites\cf10\sitename.  I think that it shouldn't matter because the location of the file must match the path to the svn server, IE.  "myserver/svn/nom_du_site" and not to their physical location.

  Anyway, any suggestion as to what I should do?

  Understood what happened. In each case, he has a record of .svn (can be hidden).  In this folder there is a file called entered. This file contains the name of the subversion server. Since I changed my computer, the name of the server changed subversion also. So I had to edit this file to reflect the new name of the server.  I used notepad ++ to search the files tool to perform bulk changes. Only tricky part is that the .svn files are read only, so I have to you, particularly uncheck this flag in Solution Explorer.

  Once I changed the name of the server in the Scriptures, I clicked on update status in dw and I get my deposit back.

• HGFS: checkout subversion on a shared folder fails in a nondeterministic way

  I am running Windows XP SP3 guest under VMware Fusion 2.0.1 (128865) on a Mac Pro (Leopard 10.5.6).

  When I try to 'svn co' on reviews XP in a directory in a shared folder in read/write HGFS, the payment process will invariably fail with a permissions error:

  Z:\WindowsData\work > svn co http://yyy/zzz

  ...

  svn: can't set file 'dir3\.svn\entries' read-only: access is denied.

  If I delete the entire working copy and rerun the recovery of subversion, the error occurs curiously at a different point in the order process.  Otherwise, the shared folder works fine: I can copy/delete files and can manually change file attributes.  I have never seen this problem with svn located on the virtual hard disk, which suggests that the problem is probably not a bug SVN working copies.  The shared folder is located in a directory encrypted host-side.  FWIW, the problem occurs with the version of the Tortoise SVN 1.5.6and SVN 1.5.4 command line. Here are a few lines of the .vmx:

  Anyone know how to fix this?  I really want to keep most of my files in a shared folder, rather than the virtual disk.  I know I could use Samba share to access the windows directory, but I don't want to expose my entire directory to a potential destruction of the guest (the default mode that Apple Configurator seems implemented the SMB share) and I don't want samba to link to on the machine's real ethernet interfaces.

  It is indeed a question that I have known about for some time, but we had not yet addressed.

  It boils down to how the client Windows file system driver manages the end of the last reference to the file by the system.

  This occurs after the closing of the application handle. In this sequence of events, you see that TortoiseProc.exe holds

  two handles opened simultaneously in the case of a Z:\WindowsData\work\python2\Python\.svn\entries that it uses to set the file read-only and then attribute when it comes to update, delete this indicator.

  Once disabled, the other handle open to Z:\WindowsData\work\python2\Python\tmp\entries which is the new updated version is renamed Z:\WindowsData\work\python2\Python\.svn\entries, replacing and replacing the old.

  The two handles are closed and the final references are deleted so applying all data in our file system. The closure of the last reference is executed asynchronously, when it must be done synchronously.

  This creates a race condition that fires here. The following query is open to Z:\WindowsData\work\python2\Python\.svn\entries News (to restore the attributes of the file read-only again).
