  I run into connection problems on a server running Windows 2012 and 8 IIS over https when NIS is enabled in the binding site. It turns out that there is a bug in the library of HTTPClient Bug #3598342 - CFHTTP does not work with active SNI SSL which is supposed to be fixed in versions 288845, 288846 and 290605.

  So my question is, I have the latest update installed 13 but only build 287689. Is it possible to update the latest version or should I wait for the next update? If it's going to be a next update.

• 11 serving .cfm files download ColdFusion

  We started with a working instance of Windows Server 2007 R2 by using IIS 7 with Coldfusion 9 Enterprise Edition installed that hosts several sites (in fact its still running now).  Make an exact copy of it to a new instance.  It worked just like the old, we did if we could only cross each localhost site as the old areas have not been transferred to the course to point to the new server.  We uninstalled Coldfusion 9 Enterprise Edition and then installed Coldfusion 11 Standard Edition.  This of course is where things started going horribly wrong.

  Install a new using the Coldfusion Web Server Configuration we have added all sites. At first nothing just worked.  always 500 errors.

  Multiple tries deletion and adding sites via configuration manager did not work, then we noticed that Coldfusion 9 was not properly uninstalled and deleted its vestiges of IIS.  AboMapperCustom is still listed in the mappings of the whole site.  Force removed a cycle more Manager config Coldfusion and coldfusion (more on that later) files seemed to be served correctly upward.

  Then we started adding data sources.  Pulled up a site (via localhost) who has used one of the datasources and got a 500 error.  Got a late race around searching the web for solutions, come to find that wasn't even CFIDE/Administrator.  More hair pulling later updated Coldfusion to update 11 7 (made in 3 if I remember correctly).  127.0.0.1/CFIDE/Administrator started working at least. Removed and added sites through Coldfusion config manager again. Obtained the general http://localhost/ work, CFIDE/Administrator does not (does not accept http verb post, even if its properly configured to do this everywhere where we can find).  Could not find a good solution for any where then as a test we tried browsing the site to go to another page and that is when we started to receive the .cfm served as a download.  These files served in this way are neither text pure files cfm or html with a bad headers files confusing IE.  They have coded a text editor cannot read the data.

  It seems weird but as I initially used IIS to remove AboMapperCustom mappings Manager and set up the first web with accessPolicy = 'Read', Script in it was the result.  This time I made a backup of the old web, deleted configuration, had THEY do a new, removed AboMapperCustom again through IIS, because he appeared again and broke everything, resulting in the web config 2.  Now everything seems to work again.  Even the strange CFIDE/Administator post verb http error, we got before.

• Installation of ColdFusion on Windows 10

  Someone at - it installed with success CF11 (or any other version) on Windows 10 machine?

  I installed IIS, ISAPI, ASP.NET and CGI Extensions.  The CF11 Installer seems to work well and got to the point where it would normally launch CF Admin and came up with a 404 error.  I run the Web Server Configuration tool, and it appears a warning box that says "Version 10.0 installed. Versions supported are 4.x, 5.x, 6.x, 7.x, 8.x"after that I chose all IIS sites. Also, it isn't a record numbered under c:\ColdFusion11\config\wsconfig\ as it should, there is no mappings for the CF file extensions in IIS.

  You'd think that adobe would be all this because many developers will soon move to Windows 10.

  This problem has been fixed. The latest version of CF 10 / 11 update added 10 Windows / IIS 10 compatibility.

  I use ColdFusion MX7 Developer edition on top of IIS on my local machine. I don't know what happened, but I'm not able to log into the CF on my local machine administrator. When I go to http://127.0.0.1/CFIDE/administrator/index.cfm, I get the login screen. In my type I CF administrator, and it is immediately the same screen. Has anyone else seen elsewhere?
  
  I completely uninstalled, reinstalled and updated ColdFusion on my machine, but nothing has changed. I also checked my IIS settings for the CFIDE folder and it looks as I remember he's looking for. I must be missing something.

If I remove the nom_boite_aux_lettres attribute, or if I use the same username value, then I can successfully see 25 of my calendar of events. However, when I use the name of the mailbox of the person who delegated access to their calendar to me I get the below error.

  The other user delegated access to me for within their Outlook 2007. They did this by going to the Tools menu, select Options, by clicking on the delegates, and then by clicking on the Add button, select my name, by clicking on the Add button, by clicking on the OK button and then give me Calendar = Editor permissions and none for all other permissions.

  I was finally able to get this working. The fault does not seem be the code shown above, but rather a lack of clarity in the Adobe documentation and an adjustment in the access rights the user "otherUserName" has given to "myUserName".

  "The connections to the Exchange Server Management" section in the documentation States 'Development of Applications ColdFusion 10' 'you can also connect it to a mailbox whose owner has delegated access on behalf of the user to connect. I understood to mean that, if the owner delegates simply to access Calendar to my user account that I can query their calendar. However this does not seem to be the case. The user had to delegate calendar access and access to the Inbox to my user account before I could ask just their calendar events.

  The other direction, I found to do this is to create an Exchange account with Exchange administrator privileges and granting access to mailboxes mailbox users. I would use then this Exchange account for the user name and password in the cfexchangeconnection and can question the events of all the users who Exchange account had access to.

  I wonder how long they will update Coldfusion for Leopard. I spent the evening tried different methods to remedy, and nothing works for me. Mind you, I don't know anything about Apache (not even sure if the stand-alone server required), so suggestions like "restart apache" mean nothing to me. If I type localhost:8500 / etc nothing happens, or I get the message not found "localhost".

  I'm having trouble installing the latest patch on my developer edition 21 CF. I have not had problems before with the installation of patches.

  I want to install using the Windows command line, as the CF Admin has never worked method (impossible to download patches because of our network problems)

  3 fatal errors in the log file:

  1. ERROR - Could not move the C:\{CFPATH}\lib\updates\{filename}.details file to the location of backup C:\{CFPATH}\hf-updates\hf-10-00021\backup\lib\updates\{filename}.details
  2. ERROR - Could not move the C:\{CFPATH}\lib\updates\{filename}.notes file to the location of backup C:\{CFPATH}\hf-updates\hf-10-00021\backup\lib\updates\{filename}.notes
  3. ERROR - Could not move the C:\{CFPATH}\lib\updates\{filename}.hotfix_021.jar file to the location of backup C:\{CFPATH}\hf-updates\hf-10-00021\backup\lib\updates\{filename}.hotfix_021.jar

  I am running the command-line in Windows as an administrator. So I don't think it's a problem of permission. All the more that the other files are written in these places during the installation (C:\{CFPATH}\hf-updates\hf-10-00021\backup\...).

  OS is Windows 7

  During the attempt to install the fix, I see the files *.details and *.notes writing in the C:\{CFPATH}\lib\updates folder. They are deleted at the end of the process.

  Had a similar problem with update 20. Here area few things Adobe told me to do.

  1. Make sure that you open the command prompt with run as administrator. You have the right permissions.
  2. They asked me to run the update with the version of JAVA that the ColdFusion server is / was using. Seems that the version of Java that I had for the operating system was not the same version as the one referenced in ColdFusion server. So, I found myself by running the command as: "C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_101\bin\java.exe" - jar ".jar JAR file c:\{name}"

  I asked the service provider web, why it would stop working and how we can solve this problem.  They suggested that upgrade to the latest version of Java on my server running ColdFusion.  I did some research and found the problem to be with the amount of memory allocated to the variable containing the encryption key.

  The big problem is when I tried to update java on this particular server (Windows Server 2003), the installation has returned a messaged stating that he could not run on the older operating system and I need to update my OS to install java.

  Does anyone have a workaround in ColdFusion 7 or 8 that you can establish the DH handshake using Java 1.6 on your local server while consuming a web service on a server using Java 1.8?

  I know that we had a serious problem with any Java 7 after update 25.  They are off a lot of network permissions and other things, for safety, that used to be available in versions prior to the update 25.  But it's while we were in CF Server 9.

  Since we switched to CF Server 10 (making sure that we got the CF Installer provided with Java 8), we had very few issues related to Java.

  It seems strange to me that the upgrade to 1.8 host while your server is 1.6 would cause problems.  It could very well be something else.  I would like to ask the host for documentation describing exactly how/why their 1.8 may cause interference with your 1.6.

• Scheduled task check Coldfusion updates gets 403 error

  I am running Coldfusion10 on RedHat Linux6. ColdFusion Administration scheduled task runs that a check for Coldfusion updates every 30 days. This month the access_log had the following entry.

  If I run it manually scheduled task, I see the message "this scheduled task has been completed successfully" but still see the error in the log.

  There is nothing in the application.log

  When I click on updates to the title of the update of the server, the hourglass turning for a long time, and it times out with the following error.

  From the I think you add ActiveMQ jar (s) to your lib / directory (classpath).

  Hello, we are trying to debug the problem we have with custom jar files keep during our instances of ColdFusion 11 nothing to be connected anywhere. Among the troubleshooting steps that we want to do is to move our new Setup ColdFusion 11 update 5 to run on JDK 1.7 instead of 1.8, because we know that these jar files run very well on our ColdFusion 9 JDK 1.7 platform. Thus, we show the instance we want to meet with JDK 1.7 for good directory JDK and attempted to start the instance, but the service will not start. We looked at the log file and the server event viewer displays this error: "... ended with the specific error that follows: the system cannot find the file specified." The ColdFusion file - our has nothing in it for this error (I don't think ColdFusion gets even at this point). The error.log file - coldfusion is not specific either. Can someone help us to debug this? Is there a way to increase the debug level so that we can get more information in the ColdFusion log files? Thank you

  Funny how things work. As soon as I posted this question, I thought of a console from ColdFusion and immediately, I saw the error here:

  Unrecognized option VM ' MaxMetaspaceSize = 256

  Could not create the Java virtual machine.

  I guess I forgot that I've added a new option specific memory to JDK 8 a few weeks back. I've posted it here for reference in case someone runs into a similar issue.
