• Can I reinstall Photoshop if I upgrade my iMac OS to El Capitan

  I fell more far behind with some updates with my current Mac OS 10.8.6. If I upgrade my OS to El Capitan, I need, I stopped at a point in the system telling me that I lose the ability to use my Photoshop CS and other programs if I continue. Needless to say I stopped and I called Mac to see if they could help and they doubted if I could reinstall my Photoshop CS after the upgrade of the El Capitan.   My question is... Can upgrade you my Photoshop to a new version on disk for me to be able to install with Mac OS El Capitan? I paid a lot of money for this and am very satisfied with it and should be able to use it in new versions of operating systems. I think it would be called being excluded.

Photoshop CS is now 13 years old and was never written to be compatible with El Capitan in fact it was originally much doubt that even Photoshop CS6 would go on the new OSX and it is just 4 years old. • Upgrade to Fusion 3.0 killed/permissions to my XP VM

  Stupidly, I decided to test the water today with Fusion 3, after finally resolving a long Mac permissions issue date, I had a guest VM running in different user sessions. I upgraded to Fusion 3 and as soon as I started it, the left menu displays a message "error". The right menu displays a message that says:

  "No authorization to access this virtual machine.
  "Configuration file: Users/scott/Documents/Virtual Machines.localized/Windows XP/Professional.vmwarevm Windows XP Professional.vmx.

  So, I thought it must be a problem to upgrade when you have an existing VM installed under Fusion 2 etc. So, I uninstalled Fusion 3 and reinstalled Fusion 2.06 and much to my horror, I am now getting same message molten 2.06. Of course install Fusion 3 changed something in my virtual machine. The question is what changed and how to fix it so I can go back? Thanks for any advice.

  user_name is the name of the user who must have (if you change username Scott scott). Log in as a user and run the virtual machine.

• 9.4.6 to 9.4.7 icons changed to display an overview of upgrade of Windows 7 x 64

  Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.  When I did the automatic upgrade of 9.4.6 to 9.4.7 the thumbnail for pdf files, under the generic (my preference) to a preview version.  I have read several articles but found nothing recent which would provide a method to revert to the original.  Or maybe give you a choice which you would prefer.  Anyone has any ideas on this?  Thank you very much.

  I found the following actions to correct this anomaly.  Use disk cleanup on the 'C' drive by ensuring that the thumbnails is checked.  Then the Group of experts of one of the pdf files that does not display the appropriate icon and select Properties.  Change "opens with" Adobe Acrobat to Adobe Reader and apply.  Now change it back to open with Adobe Acrobat and the application and all pdf icons are of the standard variety.   I want to know is if it is easy to choose the option to select the standard icon or a preview icon.

  I have a web server that was doing very well until I left the 5.2 update suggested to install OS X Server. I can't get to broadcast web pages. Screen sharing works always and nothing has changed on the routers, etc.

  I restarted the server after the update and restarted the server itself several times but keep getting connection via a browser failures.

  I did the upgrade even on other servers as well as the upgrade of Sierra. This server is running El Capitan, and is the only one that gave me problems. 5.2 server is not compatible with El Capitan?

  Some additional info:

  I can connect to the server through ftp and other services; just no web service.

  Port tests show that port 80 is not blocked

  Using the IP address I can get to the window of the home server.

  Accessibility means no services available

  Websites is on and I can't find anything that is not defined in law or is different than before the update.

The good news is that these steps will be useful for your problem of phone calls while using the bluetooth in your car. • Yahoo Mail failure after upgrade of Sierra - iMac

  After the upgrade to Sierra... Now I find that I can't 'see' Yahoo mail... I tried to add the a/c: then the removal of the a/c. I get the Triangle of Hazzard indicating error account! I went down this loop for 2 days...

  All my other email accounts worked instantly. iCloud: Gmail etc.

  I tried to manually configure the settings...

  Everything seems 'normal'... but not a thing, no mail: no record... a real pain. the only joy that is web based too... If I can work...

  But, come on APPLE... This happens to my Yahoo mail whenever I update IOS... What is going on???

  I always seem to end up in a CHAT SESSION just to get my MAIL BASIC... This ISN'T a quality SERVICE...

  Thanks for the upgrade to iOS 10! I understand that when you launch the app Stocks there are no headlines loading. Great way to try to resolve in uninstalling and then downloading it again from the App store. If this did not fix the app, you can try to make sure you have a good and stable internet connection. Also, check that your date and time settings are set to "auto detect".

  Have you tried scanning with Capture of Image instead? It worked for me.

• iMovie crashes after Sierra upgraded.

  I have a MacBook Air and yesterday I upgraded the OS to Sierra. After that, iMovie crashes as soon as it load and continued to do so throughout the day. I can't access a video of work I had done and really need to send it to my client to download on their website. I repeatedly sent reports to Apple and restarted my laptop 3 times. I can't force leave them, because the program is still not open long enough to do something.

  I also tried to get a fix to remedy the situation, but there doesn't seem to be available.

  Does anyone have a solution to this? My laptop is less than 3 years.

  I understand that you updated your MacBook Air to macOS Sierra and now the iMove application is not responding.

  You did it to Time Machine backup your computer before updating?  You install iMovie version 10.1.2 after update to macOS Sierra?  Have you restarted your computer?  You try to access a project in iMovie or did you finish the project and export a video file (film)?

  Try these initial steps to solve your problem:

  1 launch the App Store on your Mac app, click updates, and then click the button next to iMovie update.

  2. restart your Macbook Air.

  3. open the Finder.  Open the Applications folder.

  4. right click on iMovie and choose read information.   Check the version 10.1.2.

  5 double-click on the iMovie application to open it.

  If the problem persists please reply to this thread with an update, including error messages that you may encounter and we will study further with you.
