• CSA uninstall problem after upgrade to 4.2.3 CCM

  I upgraded a version 4.2.3 CCM but did not uninstall the old version of Cisco Security Agent before.

  When I tried to install the new one (CiscoCM-CSA - 4.5.1.655 - 2.0.5 - k9) after the upgrade, I got the message "unable to get the product id for the independent agent. • CSA v5.0.0.217 Agent Software Upgrade

  About 2 months ago, I upgraded our software agent of v5.0.0.176 to v5.0.0.210. Everything went well and all of our agents automatically pulled down of the upgrade.

  Currently I am moving from v5.0.0.210 to v5.0.0.217. However, no agents are able to pull down the new update.

  The agents are currently in test mode, so nothing should be blocking the download.

  Any ideas on where I could find out what is the cause of this problem?

  Have you changed an existing scheduled update to use the latest software update?

  I tried once and it did not work as expected.

  It worked when I created a new scheduled update.

• The upgrade of 4.0.3.736 to 5.0.0.225 CSA

  Anyone know if there is a way to update directly from 4.0.3.736 to 5.0.0.225 CSA? I prefer to do this with the™ by planning a software update. I have an another™ 5.0.0.225 running. However,™ 4.0 list 5.0.0.216 as the highest available update.

  Any suggestions?

  Did you run the 5.0.0.225 tool prepare_40_migration.exe on the old MC from a command prompt?

  There were a few bugs that require this method works correctly.

  If you started a previous migration or run the 216 of the tool version, which would also explain.

• The upgrade to the CSA 5.1

  Any SSD with a box 2.5 "will be compatible with your MBP.  I recommend OWC SSD or critical based on my experience and other participants of CSA veterans.

• CSA installed 5,2.0.238 on a Win 2 k 3 Server

• Upgrading from 3.2 to 4.1 ACS ACS self.

  I'm going to upgrade our system ACS ACS ACS 4.1 3.2 device. Our current ACS is a system Dell Windows 2000 server runs on both systems. I have a few questions.

  Hi Sylvie,.

  (1) No there is no problem of migration of windows of GBA GBA unit.

  (2) Yes, you can keep the same name and IP address of the device of the CSA that you had it on the windows of the acs.

  (3) just, make sure that you have a backup fom acs windows 3.2, just to be on the safe side, incase something goes wrong.

  (4) on an average no more then 30 minutes.
