  No iCloud by itself. You can save the images on iCloud drive, but then they are just images randomly without structure, unless save you them in a kind of files that will help you organize them in the drive.

  If you want to archive and save photos, you should be import on your computer, or you must use a Cloud service of archiving such as Dropbox or Google Photos. It is the only way to store your photos.

• My photos got mixed after upgrade to El Capitan

  Yesterday, I downloaded pictures from my camera to my iMac.  They added automatically the photos I had taken on my iPhone (through the cloud) today, I upgraded to El Capitan, in order to take advantage of the improved editing capabilities.  Today, some of my uploaded photos are only in all the photos in the album section and disappeared into the photos section.   In addition, all photos in albums are all mixed and cannot be reordered by date (ie: old photographs are mixed in the pictures I just took) I took more than 1000 pictures on this recent trip.  I can't imagine having to go through both of these sections to understand which photos are in one folder but not the other.  I wanted to make an album for the trip, now I can't figure out how to get all my recent photos in there.  I tried to reload the camera, and they say they are already loaded.  Help, please.  Obviously, I'm a novice user; Sorry if this makes no sense.

  All pictures and Photos are just two different views of the same library and unless you have corruption library each photo in one is in the other--noting that you can hide the pictures in Photos but they show in pictures

  To check hidden photos look in the album "hidden".

  To find pictures in Photos (years/Collections/Moments), select one from all the Photos and do a right-click - Select 'Show in the times' and the pictures will open in moments - usually, you'll see why you do not find it once you see where the on - is open moments but your selected photo isn't not to repair your database - backup the library of Photos and press the command and option keys while launching Photos and repair the database (note this will trigger a new download of ICPL for check the database is correctly synchronized)

  HI, I am an Air IPad 2 (and very happy with it!). A perfect beginner hope so I don't embarrass me with a stupid question!

  Right... I have all my photos on an old PC. So, I decided to create an ICloud account on it, so I could transfer pictures to it and access

  them on the IPad. Question however... If I delete photos from the PC (think she binning), it deletes the photos of the Tablet?

  Reflection on the use of the ICloud as my main storage area / only for the photos... spirit of not paying a little to upgrade to 50 GB.

  First of all, there is not here of embarrassing questions, some questions... they are all good...

  I wouldn't use iCloud photo library for storing precious images. Please read the FAQ below that the deletion of an Apple device can remove all.

  I copy the pictures from your old pc to a hard drive or a large size flash drive. This will be saving them. If you get a new pc then copy here. Otherwise use a true cloud like Dropbox storage and copy them on your iPad and the Galaxy from there. In a suppression device will not remove them from Dropbox.

• Photo backup not file photo library

  I have a lot of pictures, all placed in my library of Photos under Photos OS X App folder.

  This file is supported by the Time Machine software and backup to CrashPlan.

  But I also want to save all my photos in the form of images - not inside a folder of Photos (just in case that the photo library will be unavailable)

  Is it possible to backup all my pictures from Photos App AS a pictures?  (Like before you import them to the Photos APP)?

  You can export the Photos.app pictures in a folder on an external drive, if you want to save the original separately.

  Pictures of launch, then select all the photos in the photo album all by opening the album and entering ⌘A.

  Now use the command "file > export > export original unmodified for... elements.

  And select the oldest on the external drive as the destination.

  I saved my library on my backiup disk and put them on a new computer - immediate Photos migrate them, but when I got the drive backup with these photos I can't access now these photos on any computer?  They were not saved on my new computer and the backup drive shows them migration and unopenable.  What can I do?

  It is not exactly what you did - but when you migrate a library the migrated library is on the same drive as the original library - best guess is that, probably, you will need to drag the shape of library of Photos JEP on the internal HD

  It seems that when restoring the iphone tent/applications updated. I don't know if you can cancel that.

  I have an iphone 4s, it runs ios 7.1.2 it is not jailbroken or locked provider. I made a manual backup to ICloud and Itunes and so can restore from one or the other.

  Clear the phone settings and then restore a backup to iCloud will not result an iOS update to occur. It will retain the iOS which is currently on the phone. That I'm absolutely sure. With iTunes, you devriez be able to cancel the update request and simply restore the backup, but unfortunately I can't talk with the same certainty of this method.

  Hello, I upgraded from 3.5 to 3.6 this morning and now 3/4 of the exhibition of my photos as gray boxes in the Panel at the bottom of the screen. I click on the little question mark near the area and he tells me that the photo is missing. the box next to the question mark, tells me the previos location and asks me if I want to locate.   Before I have rec'd this message, I uninstalled 3.6 and reinstalled. Everything seems to work fine now. I'm guessing that there is some sort of hiccup on my end. I can't say 100% for sure, however it seems to me that the only picture originally imported into a program of former items (3?) was posted in the bottom bar.

  I updated my iphone 6 more yesterday with iOS 10. Phone works quite well. But I have my phone backup problems. I usually back up my phone with my iTunes Macbook (Via cable and sometimes on wifi). But after the update to iOS 10 it seems that I can't back up my phone more. I don't know the real cause of this problem.

  1. I am not able to save my iPhone via wifi data in iTunes. (Previously it was not the case).

  2. I tried to back up my phone using the cable also. Also, I pressed "Trust" this computer, but I get this error message. Please see below.

  Also, I allowed my computer by disconnecting iTunes and logging back there. And yet I have the same issues.

  "iTunes could not connect to the iPhone because an invalid response was received from the device."

  Does anyone know what this answer is invalid can be?

  Do I have to change the settings in my phone or iTunes?

  The library on your external drive is a library, which has been migrated to Photos to iPhoto. Photos that can recognise by an extension of changedfilename ".migratedphotolibrary".

  Rename the library on your external drive to 'iPhoto Library.photolibrary '.

  Then drag this library on the Photos icon to open them in Photos or double-click it to open it in iPhoto.
