Upgrade error extensions Manager.
I have CS 5 and try to follow the Protocol upgrade, I get an error message when you try to install the upgrade.
Update 6.0.5 extensions Manager
Failed installation. Error code: U44M2P7
Any ideas?

I searched this error and read the answers. None of these permits.
I am running PS CS5 Extended, version 12.0.4. He has just moved to a new computer. Other Adobe products include Acrobat Pro XI and XI of the reader.
The software has been installed on the new computer, I have updated Acrobat and Reader without any problem. When I upgraded to PS, IIRC, some updates installed correctly, but Extension Manager CS5 5.0 is not installed.
I tried to manually install AEM CS5 5.0. It installed without error, but the PS does not seem to recognize it.
This problem was not happening on my old computer.
Any suggestions?
I spent more time reading the posts on this topic and found a workaround solution, which was to set the clock on the back of the PC. The message I found mentioned October 2011, so I used 1 October 2011. It worked. Set PS to update completely without error.

What I did:
Although the error, I was able to install the Add-ons in following one of your son:
-Rename ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/opm.db a.../opm.db.bak
-After that EM asked me my AdobeID and rebuilt the opm.db and I could install the Add-ons wanted
-Unfortunately my InDesign modules went wrong (had a lot of exclamation in EM on Adobe standard modules)
-I could not (re) activate these marked modules InDesign, InDesign lacked important elements of user interface, etc. and crashed constantly
-the only solution was to reinstall InDesign and update all apps-> pu CS6 (re) activate the modules-> exclamation marks were gone-> InDesign stable again
-J' retried install zxp files, but once again no chance to install with the unexpected error mentioned.
-J' tried to install command line
-hang on ~ / Library/Caches/TemporaryItems/ZDR004a6e7e.TMP/exman_raw.zip_UNPACK/META-INF/signatures. XML

How I got rid of the error message:
I had an alias "Adobe Application Manager" in my Applications folder that pointed to Applications/Utilities/Adobe Application Manager/core/Adobe Application Manager.app. The CFBundleVersion string in the info.plist file was 9.0.0.141. I have no idea when or why it was installed on my system. Starting this "Adobe Application by" lead to an update to a newer version 10.0.0.49. Subsequently, an application of bar menu pop up, asking to log in with my Adobe I identification code creative cloud have does NOT connect me, because I have not even a creative cloud subscription, but leave the menu bar app by pressing "quit" in the gear icon. Then I gave another chance, extensions Manager. After selecting an add-on from the Adobe Exchange website to install in the extensions Manager, the "Adobe Application Manager" has popped up, asking me my Adobe Funnily enough identification code, by default has been my second ID (old) Adobe, I replaced my updated Adobe ID and password.
A few seconds later Extension Manager installed the add-on without any error and hassle with my standard modules to InDesign.
As a side effect, I had a new folder "/ Applications/Utilities/Adobe Creative Cloud" with approximately 330 MB of stuff I really don't seem to need. Fortunately, I found an uninstall program in "/ Applications/Utilities/Adobe CreativeCloud/Utils/Uninstaller.app CC" who removed the "useless stuff" with no negative side effects known to feature my CS6 or the Adobe Extension Manager CS6. "."

Packaging in InDesign gives error Plugin Adobe Extension Manager does not see
I have an old file Indesign which formerly FontReserve.
It is no longer installed and has not been for 3-4 years
I'm unable to package a file without the plugin error saying it can't find the font reserve.
It does not appear in my Adobe Extension Manager CC application referred to in one of the programs listed

Extension Manager CS6 manifest.xml error
I am under Photoshop CS6 (34 to 64-bit versions) on Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit and I tried to install an extension, but I get the following error:
Cannot install the Extension of the Creative Suite "C:\Users\***\Downloads\com.dkagency.velositey.zxp". Please make sure the manifest.xml of this extension is valid and the extension manager recognizes at least a product that supports the extension.
I uninstalled the extension manager and reinstalled (with the correct version of my software) and I still get the error. I installed other extensions and you have not had any problems with them. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions/advice on how to solve this problem.

This message was originally the Extension Manager CS6 - rather than CC. In addition, as it was completely not recommended for 2015 CC, please do NOT use the extensions for CC 2015 facilities Manager.

In this log file, I see you found the error: U44M1P7 by updating the software
This error comes where the language for the software packs are not installed properly on the computer.
I would say to update Adobe Application manager
Windows: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4773
MAC: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4774
then try to install the update if you are still not able to update software and get the same error, then uninstall it all Adobe software by selecting Preferences delete.
After you uninstall the software, run the cleanup (http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html) Adobe tool and remove the remains.

Here's what worked for me on Mac OS 10.6.8.
I trashed manually the CS6 Adobe Extension Manager to my Applications folder.
I have redownloaded the extensions here CS6 Manager: http://www.adobe.com/exchange/em_download/
I reinstalled the CS6 EM, then ran Adobe Application Manager, then the update installed fine.
Never restarted. Just went well the steps.
